Dr Olivelle is a wonderful doctor, high class professional- caring, calm and friendly. Explaining everything, taking all the stress and anxiety away. I have needed help asap and received excellent service every single time without delay. Recommended.

It wasn’t my usual dentist, however, I was made to feel at ease and the problem was promptly resolved. My anxiety levels were elevated due to childhood memories at the dentist. I would feel happy to see the same person again. Their approach was gentle, calming and professional. Very understanding and informative.

Fantastic service and very patient with nervous patients. I was petrified going for the first consultation but after having the first lot of work done, I can say they are very good. I didn't feel a thing and the team reassured me and checked in regularly to make sure I was ok. I would give more than 5 stars if I could and would recommend to family and friends.

Date of visit 15/11/24.( New patient) I was really very anxious as it was my first time for treatment with a new dentist. I needed not to have had such a sleepless night worrying! I feel very stupid now because I was looked after so well by my fabulous team Dr.Jessica Scott and nurse Ellie. They understood my nervousness and immediately reassured me that I was going to be in safe hands. The treatment I received was quick and completely painless. Ellie was really lovely and kept reassuring me as the treatment progressed which was greatly appreciated. I have to visit again for a couple more longer appointments to prepare to have a gold crown fitting and I promise not to be such a baby next time! Having had such a good experience on my first visit has absolutely reassured me that I’m in very experienced and safe gentle hands. So I’m looking forward to my next appointment! As a new patient to the practice my first impression was relaxing with efficiency. From reception to medical staff the air is calm and reassuring. After my initial check up, I needed a filling which was so quick and totally painless. Highly recommended. 👍

I had an exceptional experience today. Naomi and her wonderful assistant demonstrated a high level of professionalism and genuine care. Remarkably, at 43 years old, I even learned the proper technique for brushing my teeth.

This is a lovely quiet little medical practice, which is a smaller branch of the Lynne Bay practice in Lyme Regis. It’s clean, friendly & very efficient. It has its own car park around the back of the building & is located on The Street, the main road drive through of the village. As with most GP surgeries, you must make an appointment.

Whilst on holiday my daughter had a problem with her ear. I called the practice for advice where I could take her. The receptionist was so so helpful, she booked us in to lyme Bay medical practice straight away as they had no appointments at Charmouth. Such a lovely lady and so helpful. Put other doctors surgery's to shame.

On holiday in Charmouth,had small problem with my eye. Lady on reception very helpful and friendly.

Ended up having to go private as a non registered emergency patient, after failed A&E visit and a 3 hour phone call to 111 with no answer. I’m so glad I chose this practice. All the staff were so kind and considerate, from the initial phone call, to the receptionist, nurses and the dentist himself. Very thorough, explained everything and considerate throughout. Have my second appointment through already to deal with the problem. Will highly recommend to all looking for a dentist!

Everyone at Stamford House is kind, friendly and knowledgeable which instills confidence in me as a patient. Dr Govender is very caring. He always explains in detail any problem I have, makes sure I understand and describes the different courses of action and treatment available. During the treatment he is very gentle and I always feel that I am being very well looked after. Many thanks to all of you for looking after me so well.

This dental practice is absolutely fantastic they really look after their patients, it’s very clean, well presented and maintained. It’s staff are tremendous, friendly, helpful, caring and very polite, my dentist Dr Govender is a smashing dentist he goes out of his way to make sure that the treatment both I and my mother receives is as pain and stress free and relaxed as possible. I would definitely recommend this dentist practice to family, friends, neighbours and anyone requiring a dentist. Please note this is a private dentist and NOT an NHS dentist.

A truly professional experience from start to finish. Communication by email and text message re upcoming appointments is excellent. Also changing appointments is very easy and hassle free. Upon entering the practice you are greeted in a warm and friendly manner, which continues throughout your visit. I am very pleased with Dr. Govender's work . He is very thorough and has done a lot more checks on me than any other dentist I have had in the past. A true professional. Although not a nervous patient myself, if you are worried by dentists then I recommend this practice. Dr. Govender will calmly explain everything before it happens and put you at ease. Friendly smiley Receptionists at this practice with a nice atmosphere. Super pleased with Michelle the Hygienist, the best one ever for me with Select Dental, so gentle and really considerate if you’ve super sensitive teeth. Very thorough examination to start, numbed a sensitive area and hardly felt the injection, had a scale and polish and any plaque removed. This is the first hygienist I have ever been to, that has made it a really painless relaxing appointment, not a terrifying one. Very impressed with this friendly, lovely natured, kind and considerate lady and her lovely assistant. Would highly recommend. 5 stars

I usually see a dentist in London for some specialist periodontal laser treatment, but was looking for a local dentist to do a filling. I was really keen to find a dentist I trusted. A friend recommended Select Dental. I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to see Miro. I can only say “wow” in terms of how kind and knowledgeable he was and how he explained everything incredibly. He and Lily were lovely. It felt like he did the filling so well from start to finish. I also thought the customer care was amazing, from my treatment co-ordinator Sam who booked me in, to the receptionists who greeted me with a huge smile when I arrived saying, “ah you’re new, welcome” as soon as I said my name. I’m so impressed, happy and grateful.

I have an irrational fear of going to the dentist but, now that I’m a granddad, I can hardly tell my grandchildren to brush look after their teeth if granddad doesn’t. I wasn’t expecting miracles as I’ve never bothered the dentist much unless I’ve needed to 🙁. The team have been brilliant. I met Dr. Miro, had a full survey and great discussion, got a treatment plan and know where things sit now. Today was the day for the first treatment, an extraction. It went brilliantly, all calm and fully explained. Other than a little scratch for local, no pain at all. Unbelievable. Thanks to all of you.

I am a very nervous patient following treatment received as a child in the 1960s. However, the treatment I received from Fernando for my dental implants was second to none. He is an excellent practitioner and has the ability to create an air of calm which would put any nervous patient at ease. My implants fit perfectly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and the staff at South Coast Dental. How I wish it had been the same for me as a child. Thank you to everyone at the practice.

Josh kindly fitted an implant nearly two years ago which I am very pleased with, I recently had an issue with the gum surrounding the implant. Josh and Tawf were able to quickly address the issue for which I am very grateful, the review was very thorough and I learned some useful tips on how to use interdental brushes.
