Hidden gem in Cleckheaton we stumbled on years ago! We are regulars at Tappinos now and it’s consistently a great meal out. Make sure you book to get a table. Not cheap as those tapas quickly add up but the food is excellent. What we love: - Unique dishes which are presented well - Great idea to serve Italian tapas allows you to try many dishes - Perfect for sharing Food recommendations: - Tartufo Nero pizza and grilled octopus are my favourites - Handmade ravioli which often appears as a special is a must try What could be improved: - More cocktail choices would be nice - Some of the food is overpriced for what you get - 1.5 hr table booking not long enough (should be 2 hours)

An Italian restaurant recommended to me by my Italian teacher who lives in nearby Mirfield. The menu is mostly small dishes. We had 2 each, plus an Aperitivo at the beginning and coffee at the end. We also shared a dessert (a cannolo) at the end. We paid £140 in total, which I thought was quite a lot, but we enjoyed the food and also the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Went for the first time. Was directed to a very small table on a corner with high seats. Nope sorry no good for me so they moved us upstairs. No one else up there. But Alex behind the bar made us feel better. Food lovely. Girls kept coming over taking our plates as soon as we finished the dishes. Annoying when your having private conversations. Please leave us to enjoy our meal, and discuss matters. Definitely go back but take on board comments. Thanks Alex you made having to be reseated upstairs an absolute pleasure. Great person working for you.....

I could not recommend this Dental Practice enough! Been in agony with my tooth, got an appointment through 111 for the next day. The staff at reception are so welcoming and make you feel at ease, the dental nurses are so reassuring and helpful. The Dentist was amazing, turned out I needed a tooth extracted - but it would be a complicated one. Once I was numbed up - I did not feel a single thing until the Dentist told me it was done. I have had really bad experiences with other Dental Practices in the past so was scared to attend my appointment, but this one by far tops them all. Staff are so friendly and professional, I can not thank them enough for all the work they do.

Such a wonderful team at this dental practice Jess wood the treatment co-ordinator was amazing in fitting me in promptly and very professional. The dentist Junaid made me feel at ease with his nurse they took great care of me & made my experience very much at ease he explained everything to me with great care and went though the X-ray with detail and made me relaxed and comfortable. Then the hygienist Adele & her nurse took time in explaining what I needed and made sure I was in safe hands. The reception team was friendly & I also got in promptly & no waiting around. Would recommend this practice to many thank you for making me feel at ease

Me and my mum had the delightful experience of a ‘tipsy tapas’ we upgraded ours to the cocktails… wow what an amazing experience! The tapas was huge! Easily enough to feed more. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! The cocktails were wonderful! The service was great, only got half way down drinks before being asked if we wanted another cocktail making. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be going again!

Visited Friday afternoon for lunch with my parents who’ve never been before. They were very impressed! Delicious food all beautifully presented and huge portions! The chicken burgers were huge and tasted delicious. My mum loved her chicken kebab and my daughters were equally happy with their meals. We all struggled to finish our mains but we were determined not to waste anything it was so good. We finished by sharing a couple of the desserts, again lovingly presented and absolutely delicious. It was my parent’s first visit here and my dad takes some impressing but he loved it, commenting on how much care the chef had taken with his dessert (and all the dishes). Pretty sure they’ll be back soon.

Such a great place to stay, the facilities are a combination of classy high finish and a traditional hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The TV was of a good size and the normal facilities were all present. Food in the bar was well priced and tasty. Seating is plentiful and service was quick. A great venue and a great stay.

Today myself and a friend went for a Groupon Sunday lunch and it was superb. Amazing Yorkshire Puddings, and lovely melt in the mouth before. Delicious. Fantastic service from all the lovely, smiling, welcoming staff and especially from Gracie-Ann who remembered me from last time, which was lovely. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and I’ve had a very good time there on both the occasions I have been.

Went there today for Afternoon Tea with 3 friends. The young lady who greeted us and served us was amazing. Her name was Gracie (another name too but I've forgotten. Blonde hair and very bubbly). She was so friendly and made us so welcome. 10/10 for her. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious and all freshly baked. Plenty of cups of tea too. Definitely recommend it to anyone. Hopefully we will be back soon. Thank you. ❤️

Went to this hotel on a spa package with my daughter it was great value for money, we got use of the spa facilities, a treatment,bed breakfast, afternoon tea and a £40 credit pp towards our evening meal. The spa is modern and a very nice area to relax thoroughly enjoyed the 90 minute treatment which included a body scrub and massage. Our room was very nicely furnished modern and clean the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant area is very large and with lovely decor throughout our food was very nice although there was a tad too much gravy with my sausage and mash! Breakfast was good large choice of cereals and hot food. The car park is very large with ample spaces and the outside areas are clean and tidy and I bet look lovely in the summer. Would definitely stay here again and can throughly recommend the spa package

Attended last Saturday for my Birthday Brunch with the Girls. Dave was very attentive and friendly as always! Lots of quality food choices and it's nice to be offered a great selection of Tapas rather than 'Eggs Benedict'! Great selection of drinks choices as they're normally very limited but not this one, there was something for everyone. It was also lovely to have live music on, the only thing I would say is it just needs turning down a touch if that is even possible. Overall fabulous and cannot wait to come back!

Exceeded all expectations. A brilliant restaurant. Can't say enough good things about The Golden Fleece. Booked this for a business dinner and the food was outstanding. Dishes were tailored to meet special dietary requirements. Food was fresh, tasty and beautiful presented. Clearly a chef that takes pride in their work. We chose not to cook our own Christmas Dinner this year, and were very happy with the plentiful and delicious food on offer at Heathfield Farm Carvery. The staff had all worked extra hard to make all their guests happy, with many personalised touches, including an individually hand-written Christmas card, gingerbread men and a wrapped gift for children in our party. The best thing was the happy atmosphere. The only little niggles were that one of our group - our Ukrainian guest - was left waiting ages for her starter, after we had all been served, despite our exact table order having been emailed well in advance, and my daughter didn't get the nut roast she had ordered. (I got mine, though, and it was absolutely my favourite - really tasty, and with a good texture) . I suggest they check orders carefully- make sure all serving staff are aware - particularly when there are vegetarian orders - so that when each table is called up to get their meal, they already have any special orders ready to go. Other than that issue, the staff were all super smiley and helpful. I loved the Christmas sauces (apple, mint, cranberry and horseradish) that were available on a separate table and that I was able to get a portion of creamy Madagascan vanilla ice cream at the table, even though my Marz Attack Cake was to take home with me. They were also very generous with the time slot they allowed - 3 whole hours between new groups of diners - so we had plenty of time to sit and enjoy our special family meal within a relaxing and cosy environment.

Attended Heathfield Farm now a few times now & can not fault it in any way! The food, staff & atmosphere has been great everytime! Especially the carvery & cakes 👌😍 portions are awesome!! ..there is ample dining space for all group sizes with a large on site free carpark, which you can leave your car in if you decide to have a cheeky drink or 2. Would highly recommend! 5 star

Eat here at least once a month, and usually enjoy it. We came earlier today, at 4pm. It was nice and quiet and the food was good. There was a new lad on the till, that inadvertently overcharged/added an extra drink to the bill! But Lewis was very helpful and sorted it for us, and was a chipper attentive member of staff.
