I love these events, they are a celebration of fun, friendship, diversity and bring novel, entertaining experiences to a small rural village. Really puts Hayfield on the map. Well done!

Their events have been a breath of fresh air and have injected so much fun and vibrancy into the local area, while also respecting and involving the community, and always keeping a focus on inclusivity. Lovely bar and set up, good drinks and delicious pizzas. A dream come true for Hayfield!

What a brilliant bunch. Thanks guys for bringing fabulous community music and arts to the local area. It's injected so much vibrancy and inclusivity into small Peak villages in a complimentary way. Get involved or just pop over for a drink and pizza 🍕

If you are looking for a unique wedding venue with old world charm, intimate entertainment spaces, comfortable and stylish accommodation in a dramatic countryside setting, then this is the place for you! Upper House Estate is a very special place, not just because of its history and unbelievable location in the foothills of Kinder Scout, but because of the people who run it. The Upper House team - Georgia, Karen, Andy and Emma - took the best care of us, from the start of our wedding planning process through to the day itself, with attention to detail, excellent communication, and a welcoming spirit. Our time staying at the house over the wedding weekend, and the day itself, was more magical than we could have imagined, with smooth, professional staffing and excellent catering. Where on earth do I start... we first came to view Upper House for our wedding in January. From the moment we stepped through the door Georgia made us feel so at home. We booked our wedding instantly and from that moment on the team have been nothing less than perfect. Georgia, Andy and Karen have been absolutely fantastic, there are no words to explain the hard work and care that they have all put into our wedding weekend, before, during and after. No job was too big or too small for any of the team - including Andy appearing as if by magic to clean up spillages and broken glass on the dance floor! (This did not go unnoticed and we appreciate it so much). The whole team made friends with our family and they just felt like they were guests at our wedding (albeit extremely helpful ones!!). The venue is beautiful and I love that it's like a hidden secret, we had an amazingly intimate wedding weekend with our closest family and friends whom all could not believe how breathtaking Upper House was. If you are thinking about hiring Upper House for your event then do not think twice! You will not regret it. Thank you once again so so much, it was truly amazing ❤️

On behalf of myself and my new husband, I’d like to thank Georgia and Karen for making our wedding day the best of our lives! Their attention to detail, kindness and professionalism made the whole planning process not only seamless and simple but such good fun, too! Their standards are impeccable and nothing was too much to ask. Upper House, the most beautiful venue in the Peak District, will always have a special place in our hearts.

My husband and I got married at Upper House in July this year and had the wedding weekend of our dreams. In the run up to the day, Georgia was an absolute saint in ensuring that all of our questions were answered and worries expelled. On the weekend itself, Andy and Karen went above and beyond in all that we asked of them meaning that us and all of our guests had the best time. It is the most beautiful venue with wonderful staff, extraordinary rooms and incredible attention to detail. Thank you SO much again for all of your hard work in making our wedding day one to remember for all that attended.

Lyme Breeze is an excellent venue for a wedding, set in a quiet picturesque setting. Kate and her team were always very helpful prior to our wedding, on the day the venue was well presented, everything ran like clockwork. Guests were made very welcome. There just aren't enough words for how amazing this place is. Kate and her team are beyond supportive from initial enquiry right until the end. The decor was amazing, the food was unparalleled! We are so grateful to you all at Lyme Breeze for the most magical wedding day. We will be back to visit soon! Love, Evie and Mike x

This is such a beautiful venue. We got married here a week ago today. The sun was shining and the venue was so picturesque. Kate and her team do everything to make your day extra special. Absolutely lovely people. We have since been back to visit for coffee and cake because they are open Tues- sun-4pm when they don't have a wedding on.

A Hudden gem for those visiting the peaks. Very beautiful walks, with the combination of historical walks through our industrial past, and very clever modern engineering, with nature always in control. And a lovely little bar with very friendly staff located inside one of the Mills. I will definitely return.

Just got home after a lovely 4 nights stay in the fireman's house which had everything you need for a cosy stay,The torr tap bar just a few feet away from the house is dog friendly so really great to pop in for a bite to eat, perfect location with some great walks

A nice mill that's currently and constantly been upgraded and developed. It has a bar and small concert venue. You can sit outside enjoying a beer whilst overlooking the waterfall. It may not be Niagara Falls but it's still nice. Nice new tar Mac road and car park now as well.
