Booked Carlo and his wife for the whole package! (Photos, DJ, video). The day was absolutely amazing, made us all laugh and got the most perfect pictures and video to remember the day by 💖 he made everything so easy and the day went smoothly, no complaints and couldnt recommend enough

We booked Carlo for our wedding in August 2022. We had previously been let down by two other photographers who turned out to be sub contracting our wedding day and acting as a middle man...something we did not sign up to. The main thing that appealed to us with Carlo was his ability to offer more than one service. He was our photographer and videographer and DJ.....he also offered drone footage which we liked the thought of. Carlo works very hard and tries to please everyone. I would have preferred more time with him prior to our wedding day but I appreciate he's very busy. We're happy with the service provided for the cost we paid. At time of writing this we have saw some teaser photos which we're happy with. We hope to receive all our photos and videos in a week or so. I would recommend Carlo to others.

We booked Derbyshire Wedding Events for our wedding in September. We had Carlo as our photographer for the day. He is such a down to earth person and interacted very well we the bridal party as we were getting ready and also the groom and the guests. We had lots of fun with him taking random photos that you wouldn't even think of! We were laughing all day with him. We really couldn't have asked for a better photographer, we've had the photos back already after only 6 weeks, they are beautiful we are very impressed. His communication throughout put us at ease too, lots of my guests commented on how good he was and I must say very good value for money too. Will highly recommend! We had Carlo and his wife do our wedding day, we had photos and video of the whole day. They got every little detail and I’m so happy I picked this package with them. I can’t thank them both enough we have such amazing photos and watching the video is like reliving the day again! The lead up to the wedding Carlo was always at hand whenever I needed to ask something he was there and helped guide us throughout it all. We also had the pre wedding photoshoot which was also amazing and we even used one of the photos for our newspapers for the big day! I can’t recommend them enough not even just the photos but as people you really are lovely and so down to earth.. and this is exactly what you need and want in someone for your big day. We had so many guests complimenting the “photographers” saying how lovely they was and how much fun they was having. Whenever I need photos again I know exactly where we’ll be coming :) Thank you again for everything Vicky & Jack xxxx

Bobby-man-can maintenance has done a lot of work for us. We are DIY disasters and find that whenever we ask for a quote, there is never a job too big or too small. Everything has been carried out to a high standard. One of the largest jobs to be carried out was the insulation and boarding out of our entire loft. Bobby-man-can maintenance is trusted and reliable. We have always found his quotes very competitive. Would not hesitate to recommend and would use time and again.

I am compelled to share my excellent experience with Robert the Handyman. He was recently able to fit numerous fittings for our baby's bedroom and put together a toy at short notice, working well after hours with precision, care, and timeliness. We had been struggling to find a handyman who was available to fit the fittings for our baby's bedroom, as it was a relatively small job and most handymen were booked up weeks in advance. We were also keen to have the fittings fitted as soon as possible, as we were expecting our baby to arrive any day. Robert was able to come to our house the very next day, even though it was after hours. He worked quickly and efficiently, and fitted all of the fittings perfectly. He also put together a toy for our baby that we had been struggling to assemble. Robert was very professional and friendly, and he went above and beyond to help us. He is a highly skilled handyman, and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Here are some specific things that I appreciated about Robert's service: He was available at short notice, even though it was after hours. He worked quickly and efficiently, but also took the time to do a good job. He was very professional and friendly. He went above and beyond to help us, by assembling a toy for our baby that we had been struggling to assemble. I would definitely recommend Robert the Handyman to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional handyman.

Sarah is an incredible microblading brow artist. I saw Sarah's work on Instagram and absolutely loved it immediately. You could see the year of experience through the pictures of the work that she had carried out over the years. I was nervous at first but after researching for about 2 years I was convinced that I found the right artist. I'm usually very picky and do not get happy easily. I was a bit nervous at first as this would have been my first time but as soon as I stepped in the salon Sarah made me feel at ease straight away. To begin my treatment, I completed a questionnaire which was just about my health in general and any allergies then my new shape was measured and the colour discussed before a numbing cream was applied to my brows. Sarah is also very friendly and chatty which made time pass very quickly and also did not feel the blade at all. Sarah used a sterilised disposable blade and she explained everything in detail before even starting. She does give you absolutely control of what you want and also offers her professional opinion if you are not sure what would suit you which was absolutely spot on. She checked the brows over and over again and made sure that they were perfect before I left and if I wanted any tweaks she did it straight away. I was very impressed by Sarah's professionalism and cannot wait for my 4 week touch up and then the actual final result. They look incredible on the first day so I am very excited to see what they would look once the whole healing process ends. Sarah provided me also with the aftercare and also was more than happy to message her if unsure so the aftercare is not just a leaflet but also Sarah being available in case you are not sure if you are doing things right. I was also surprised that it did not hurt at all. Just a bit of a stinging feeling which goes after a few seconds. The only question I’ve been asking myself since is: why didn’t I get this done sooner?

I've not used the beauty/ hairdressing side of this business, but I can recommend the cafe and gift store they have within the building. They make great sausage & bacon cobs, very reasonably priced. I have not tried much else from the menu, but it looks good when it comes out to other tables.The coffee is very nice too. They have various milks for vegans and people with intolerance. Cakes are delicious. Toilet facilities within the salon side of the store. There is a selection of handbags, candles,wall plaques, soft toys etc. within the gift side of the store.

We love nature and wanted a colourful, meadow-like vibe for our relaxed spring wedding. We also wanted stylists who could make the most of our lovely but relatively small venue. Finally, we wanted to be confident that our wedding day would look beautiful without having to stress about it or do anything ourselves. Sass absolutely nailed it on all three points. Working with them was a dream from start to finish. They were very flexible and creative, had a lot of options, and were easy to communicate and plan with. They created very effective moodboards so we could see that they fully understood what we were asking for. Their quote was detailed and fully broken down so we could see what every element cost. If we had wanted to do any of it ourselves, we could've easily adjusted the plan thanks to their honest and transparent approach. (However, we were so pleased with their vision that we just stepped back and let them do their thing.) We also got to visit their showroom and see multiple different styling options. They changed things before our eyes to suit our preferences, had example flowers and signage, mock table layouts, the whole shebang. They also met with us at the venue to plan things, and liaised with staff at the venue to make sure everything ran smoothly. We felt comfortable and confident throughout the whole process thanks to their careful approach. As for the big day itself - everything was absolutely perfect. Walking into the venue was like walking into a dream. The flowers were stunning, the decor was gorgeous. Everything was exactly as we wanted, better than we imagined. We received countless compliments from our guests. One guest, who is a professional event planner, was stunned to hear what we had spent on the flowers and styling, as she expected the cost to be higher. Our bridesmaids kept their bouquets while we took the rest of the flowers home - and despite driving over an hour in a very hot car, they lasted beautifully and adorned our home for a week afterwards, which was a lovely treat. Thank you Emily and Fran for making our day look like a fairytale!

Breathtakingly Beautiful… Emily & Fran did all of our styling & floristry. The flowers were truly out of this world beautiful. The colours were just beautiful. Emily & Fran spent so much time & effort creating everything for our wedding day at Thorpe Gardens. Samantha took the reins from us around a month before our wedding. She understood very quickly what we wanted but also added a lot of experience styling our marquee. Samantha's communication was excellent before our wedding and was a dream to have her coordinate the day. Samantha is an incredibly talented wedding venue decorator! We cannot recommend her enough! We loved that we could go for an eco-friendly way to decorate our venue, there is no way we would be able to comfortably fit 60 glass vintage vases and 100 candlesticks in our own home!! I really love her sustainable approach to styling weddings. Samantha tailored our venue style to suit us and worked with us to bring our vision of our wedding to life. Our venue was transformed into a rustic vintage woodland, with lots of gorgeous fabrics, beautiful golden candlesticks (all child safe LED lights) and beautiful glass pieces. On the day of the wedding, she worked so quickly putting everything together. Having her as our stylist took so much stress out of our big day, she managed all the decoration, styling, set up and packing up next the day. It really makes such a big difference! As we had to pack up our own stuff (in such a tiny car!), manage other wedding tasks, and get ourselves down to the venue. Samantha did an amazing job, and everything looked so beautiful and elegant. Thank you so much for creating such a gorgeous wedding for us!

My husband and I were so pleased with how Sam styled the venue for our wedding ceremony and evening reception. From the day I contacted her to discuss about ideas that I had prior to the wedding, she was so helpful, patient and professional. Whenever I had any questions, she was friendly, approachable and responding to me very quickly. We'd highly recommend Willow and Rust weddings to any couples! We had so many compliments from our guests. She created beautiful centrepieces and backdrops. As we had our ceremony, drinks reception and evening reception at the same venue, she was happy to come back to the venue to rearrange all the decors and discussed everything with the venue staffs so we didn't need to worry about anything. Brilliant honest hardworking. After a really terrible job from a previous roofer (waterproof roofing ltd )who left me with a leaking roof Lee and the fantastic team sorted it out for me.The other roofer has conveniently disappeared and won’t answer calls to fix it. Burton flat roofing, went above and beyond my expectations. Nice to see there are genuine honest people out there. Thanks again lads.

I have had my outdoor building's roof (34 sqmtr) done from Burton Flat Roofing. Replacing felt roof with rubber roof including sub boards and finishing trims. Outdoor building now looks fantastic and pleasing to the eye, as the finish is spot on. Lee and his team arrived and completed on time. No mess was left behind, as they kept on tidying my patio and garden area as they were progressing with the new roof. Great job carried out by Lee, so will use again for any future projects or call outs.

Fantastic job delivered by Lee and his team today. Called Burton Flat Roofing couple of weeks ago to get a qoute for my outdoor building roof and also to have a look at my bathroom roof as a water leak developed over some time, affecting ceiling underneath. Before getting a competitive qoute, Lee had a good look at the current state of both of my roofs and then recommend what needs replacing and changing, rather than just getting a qoute from someone just looking at the roof from bottom up and giving a price going through the roof! Lee and the Team turned up on time and done a great job, exceeding expectations. So, would recommend to anyone and use again for flat roofing.

Molly Maid has been my cleaning service for some time. They are efficient and do a great cleaning job. The cleaners are always friendly & cheerful. I like the fact that you are notified by text of their expected time of arrival. There is also regular reviews with the management that everything is going well. I highly recommend them.
