Fabulous cafe with great value, atmosphere and tasty food. A big shout out to Laura, who served us well after coping well with a short staffed kitchen today. She kept customers informed and offered us some complimentary drinks whilst waiting a little longer for our breakfast. Will return… :0) Pete
I had the most amazing experience at Fika with my dog! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They even brought over a special treat for my pup, which was such a thoughtful touch. The drinks were out of this world—my hot chocolate was rich and perfect and my friend’s iced matcha latte was just as impressive. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, with plenty of space for dogs to roam while their owners enjoy the delicious beverages. Fika is truly a hidden gem for dog lovers, offering both great coffee and a dog-friendly environment that makes it easy to unwind and enjoy quality time with your pup. I’ll definitely be back!
Popped in for some lunch with my daughter today and the food and service were great. Very friendly, welcoming staff and the loaded fries went down a treat! Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back 👍
I love the atmosphere in this cafe. It has a coziness that encourages communication and people chat. The service is excellent. Nice menu and you can drop in for a drink and a snack or a cooked meal at any time of the day. An asset to the village. Nice to see it is dog friendly.
OK finally I found the best English breakfast I've had since a long long time in fact I can't remember one better than this. Good prices lashford sausages, and great coffee. We have been many times now and we will continue to keep going. Highly recommended. *Update* coffee last two occasions has been a disappointment. Coffee is over extracted, burnt tasting. Not sure if it's different grind size, new beans, or baristas??
