What an amazing coffee shop. Located in the heart of AG. Long overdue. Definitely coming back to this coffee joint. Great customer service as well as being a fast one. Grabbed a cappuccino and Blue Lagoon Love the inside seating but opted to drink out since it was a nice sunny day. Clean and quality products Great value for money.

We as a family visited La Venue for the first time yesterday. I must tell you what an amazing Chef(the owner) is! So down to earth! I loved Vegan hot chocolate❤️ My husband and kids enjoyed their drinks and meal! Perfect ambience for the family or any one who would want to enjoy perfect cuppa ☕️ with their loved ones👍

I absolutely love this coffee shop! I grabbed a tea to take home while watching the Tyson Fury fight, and it was absolutely perfect. The tea was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Even though I didn’t stay to enjoy the cozy atmosphere, the friendly service really stood out. By the way, Tyson Fury should have won that fight! Highly recommend this place for quality drinks and great service!

The customer service is exceptional, ensuring that every visit is pleasant and enjoyable. Additionally, there is plenty of parking available, making it well worth the visit. Noir 55 Coffee - A Cozy and Friendly Café Experience We recently spent a relaxing day at Noir 55 Coffee, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a friendly staff and a unique touch games at every table, perfect for those who want to relax, enjoy a coffee, and have some fun. We sampled a variety of cakes and drinks during our visit. My wife ordered the White Chocolate Mocha, which was rich and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness, while I enjoyed a refreshing Elderflower drink. The cakes were a highlight our favorites were the Pistachio Blonde, Carrot Cake, and Cinnamon Roll, each one deliciously fresh and flavorful. We also couldn’t resist trying the Red Velvet Halloween edition cake, which added a fun seasonal touch to the experience. Special mention goes to Natalie, who made our visit even better with her warm and helpful service. She was sweet, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a café to unwind with some tasty treats, a good cup of coffee, and a few games to pass the time, Noir 55 Coffee is a fantastic spot. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Lovely cafe, with pretty interior. The chai latte and blood orange cookie were scrumptious. They also have traditional board games per table which can be used when enjoying your drink. Customer service was amazing

Best coffee shop located in Birmingham. Coffee tastes just amazing, big variety of drinks and great signature coffees. Desserts are not be missed, specially their Dubai Chocolate! Place is very neat, warm and cozy atmosphere.

My favorite Middle Eastern café, Damascene, boasts beautifully decorated and immaculately clean premises. The exceptional customer service was a highlight of our visit. Our menu included delectable options such as cheesy toast, chicken wraps, refreshing mint tea, mango milk shake, and the signature Damascene falafel flatbread. The presentation was impeccable, and the flavors were both fresh and delectable. We were able to savor each dish thoroughly. The prices are reasonably priced, and the café offers outdoor seating. Additionally, a complimentary car park is conveniently located in front of the establishment. The children thoroughly enjoyed their experience at all Damascene branches :)

Ive been to all branches now and this is my favourite! Modern but still with all the elements of their brand. The food was just beautiful- tasted freshly made too. Already looking forward to my next visit here. Added advantage free car parking just outside

I recently dined at Damascena and was thoroughly impressed. The lamb and beef Donner was absolutely delicious, with tender, flavorful meat and generous portions that left me satisfied. I also tried the affogato for dessert, which was a perfect blend of creamy gelato and rich espresso – simply amazing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made the experience even better. Damascena is a must-visit for anyone craving great food and excellent service!

Boston Tea Party offers a delightful dining experience with its polite and friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food and drinks are made from high-quality ingredients, and each dish is well-cooked and beautifully presented. While the cost is on the higher end, making it more of a treat than a regular spot, the quality justifies the price. The web ordering system is functional, though it can be a bit time-consuming for older patrons. However, the convenience of ample paid parking at the rear, accessible via the RingGo app, is a definite plus. Just remember to bring change or a card if you don't have the app. Overall, Boston Tea Party is a great place for a special outing, offering excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere

Really lovely restaurant! I went here for breakfast. The garden/courtyard area was gorgeous. I like the option of using a QR code to order. It was quick and easy to choose and pay for what I wanted. It was good that the option to adjust and modify items was there too. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. I had the vegan breakfast, which was delicious, affordable and a good portion size. The scrambled tofu was light, fluffy and flavoursome. Flat white with the house blend coffee with oat milk was also lovely. Loved it. Service was super efficient and friendly. I definitely would recommend eating here, and I'm planning on returning soon. Thanks! :)

They pour the beer without sparklers here and the Pale Brummie turns out to be the best pint of the day. Great service and a worthy entry in the Good Beer Guide. The food offer looks irresistible and I’ll have to return soon to sample it.

Excellent quirky little bar so close to Birmingham New Street that you might be able to squeeze in a pint while waiting for a connection. The Fairy Tale milk stout sounds like it might be sickly but it was very drinkable. I came across the same beer in London a week later and it was much poorer. Didn't get a chance to sample the food.

Had a very nice breakfast catching up with some friends. Good food, generous portions, friendly staff, affordable and a nice cozy atmosphere. I'll definitely return!!

Stayed for 3 nights in Birmingham and this is quite possibly the best cafe I've been too. Food is out of this world and the staff have been amazing.

Came here for the luminate Christmas lights trail. The organisation was ok, staff were helpful and the kids enjoyed the lights. It's worth a visit with kids. The place is clean and well kept and signposted correctly to make your visit enjoyable as possible.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely visit to the Laminate exhibit hosted by the botanical gardens which started out with a field of LED roses which flicked in patterns in response to the music soundtracks which were playing. We then moved on to some tiles which lit up under each step which were really fun to run around and jump on, then we moved to some controllable lights which I forgot to photograph but they were again fun to mess with. Next, we moved to the slow spirals on the floor which we stood and span with. The light trail then guided us to a tunnel of triangular light which was very popular with guests looking for fun photo opportunities .This then led down to some spherical string lights which were captivating to both my partner and I as we enjoyed being able to walk into the lights and hold onto them. We then followed a rainbow path to a large, path shaped light overhead projecting into the sky, I really liked the pattern changes in this time and through both walkthroughs I stood and stared in awe as I thought the patterns and colourations in the overhead light were fascinating. We then headed to the cages in the forest which sadly didn't have their intended effects as only two of the tablets used in the projections were working slightly so the cages looked mildly confusing as they just appeared as glass panes in cages. We followed these down the the make a wish wall where my partner and I both made some wholesome wishes and had a look at the hopes of other visitors which brought a smile to ourselves and another group. This followed on to a game where you had to stop a light to a line on a timed sequence, after the little thrill game you come to a disco ball zone with calm music and lights that make you feel like dancing. The trail ends at a little hand warming station over hot coal with a photo opportunity on exit at some heart shaped candy canes. The exhibition is more sensory based than I remember it being several years ago which I think is an exciting direction for the show to take, however I do think that if they do this they should make the music more drawing so that it helps bring you into each exhibition more and that they should still have one or two light based art sculpture type things as they really were the main highlight of my first luminate visit back in 2019, this is just a gentle suggestion though as the experience was still lovely despite the minor technical error with tablets and I'd still say to visit if you're in Birmingham as it's a gentle paced expefience that we travelled twice to re-immerse ourselves into.

The botanical gardens are so beautiful! There is car parking on site and a cafe to get a warm drink in winter. The gardens are well maintained and keeps changing every visit. I never get board visiting over and over. There’s a beautiful aviary and butterfly house and koi fish in the gardens. There is a field to have a nice picnic on a sunny day. Even on rainy days there are greenhouses that can be enjoyed indoors. There are bathrooms onsite and lots of families visit. If you are lucky you may spot a cat that comes to visit the gardens occasionally.

Spent my 21st birthday here and could not complain, was a wonderful little peruse of all type of botany and sights. Even checked out the butterfly garden and was pleasantly surprised. I think everyone needs to go to the botanical gardens at least once in their life. 😊

We went to Chapter, on recommendation of another restaurant owner, Yan, and we are so glad we did. The Sunday Lunch was absolutely amazing. I am vegetarian and usually my options are quite limited in some restaurants, but Chapter catered for both vegetarians and non- vegetarians really well. I had a mushroom pie which was so delicious, and the roast potatoes and gravy was impeccable. The atmosphere was also great- it was a lovely family environment, but quiet enough to enjoy. The place was also beautifully decorated and in a lovely location in Edgbaston. We are so grateful to Yan for recommending this place, and we would definitely visit again. Thank you to all the staff too- you were on point. 😊

A very contemporary venue that I thought looks pleasant, except that a long row of 2 person tables in the restaurant leaves people, including me staring at a wall, prioritising the amount of covers over a more pleasant experience. I rather thought that in the same vein, the food offerings were more about income for the restaurant than value for money for me. My scallops starter at £16.00 only managed 1 of a decent size out of 3, and my main fish course was less than an entire single fillet of sea bass for £25.00. Disappointed 😞

My daughter and I love this place and we always stop for a hot chocolate. Very friendly staff. We were served by Assia today and she was very polite and with a big smile as always. Will definitely come back!

This is my favourite Starbucks in the UK. Being 🇨🇦 I drink filter or drip coffee which can be hard to find. A lot of Starbucks don't or won't make it. Every time I am here they cheerfully say, I'll just make a pot. So very nice. It's a large, clean spacious welcoming location and all the staff are very nice and accommodating.

I totally forgot to take a picture of my toastie and tea, but this Starbucks is roomy, and like that it has a choice of sofas or chairs. Birmingham university is not too far away so it does have quite a few students that come in and use the table spaces etc. But it's a good vibe. Service was quick and staff were friendly and welcoming.

This place makes one of the best if not the best chai lattes (with oat milk) that I’ve had. I love that it is an independent store and they have some nice meals on the menu. I had lamb bagel and hash brown fries (see photos and I had takeaway). I didn’t love the sauce that come with it and maybe it’s best to have on a pot in the side. But it was nice nonetheless. Staff are friendly and the venue is a nice place to sit and do work or have a little catch up with a friend but the space isn’t the largest. Only thing I’d warn is that the price, (I paid around £17 for the 3 items but I was able to get the hash browns half price with Independent Birmingham App, so it would have been more ) so it is a bit more on the pricier side but worth a visit still. Card only as a payment too.

Their loaded eggs Benedict is absolutely brilliant. The long walk in the cold to get here was fully worth it. The crew are really nice as well and all of them made me feel very welcome.

The local coffee shop, it does a nice smooth flat white, which is the best I have had in Birmingham so far. The service is very quick and friendly. Come in here for a coffee and breakfast on the weekend!

Reserved a big space for a large mother and baby group meet up. It was our first time here. The staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. It's very baby friendly. Had a couple of hot chocolates. Others in the group ordered food and said it was delicious. A relaxed atmosphere that's baby friendly. We'll definitely be coming back and ordering food next time!!

I had a fantastic brunch experience at this restaurant, with their Shakshuka being a highlight - the flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Warm atmosphere and friendly service.

This is an excellent place for casual dining; breakfast, brunch, lunch and tea, especially for parents. There are many families which dine here and the staff are always welcoming and very friendly. The food is delicious. The options are fantastic, many delicious items on each menu. The Veg Full English is the best by far. But I’ve never had a meal here and not enjoyed it. Coffee and cakes are also very tasty. A huge thanks to the management and staff for providing such excellent service and dining.

Warm welcome on entry. Members of staff taking order and also serving were very freindly. The food arrived quickly and was tasty. You can also scan and place an order. The interior is nicely done and comfortable. There is a good mixture of customers enjoying a drink or a meal Set in nice surroundings, it is also a nice place to bring family. There is also outside seating to enjoy the setting. Would definitely recommend the place and staff.
