Good wholesome food at good prices. Liver bacon mash and peas excellent, best I have had in years and a good portion. Cash only but well worth the visit. An obviously popular local place.
I visited here this morning. Until today I have walked past many times...... (!) The Food is Excellent and Well-Priced! Nice atmosphere and staff as well. I strongly recommend a visit to this 'non brand name' cafe!
Friendly staff and cleantables. No table service here butt that's a minor issue. I'd return 😀
I came in to grab a drink only to find I forgot to have cash on me. The owner very kindly offered to make me a drink despite not being able to pay as they don’t accept card payments. Next time I’m in town I’ll make sure to be back with some cash.
The food was really good, and massive thanks to the owner for helping my dad out with a drink. Very appreciative! I haven’t visited but definitely will
