Lovely little cafe. They still keep the control indicator light there as decor which is a nice touch. The coffee is good. And the pizza fritta is really tasty, and it is served piping hot. Also has a good view over the harbour.
Quaint coffee/snack outlet in the former signal box, complete with signal levers, etc. Lovely coffee and Sicilian snack. Sat outside as weather was warm and sunny. Owner (?) even took the time to explain how the special Sicilian snacks were prepared. Will go again!
Great stop for coffee during a coastal dog walk, located inside the old signal box at the entrance to the harbour arm. The owner is Sicilian and the food and drink reflect his homeland superbly, coupled with the local heritage and views across the fishing boats and white cliffs coastline. Superb!
Best coffee in Folkestone, beautiful landscape. Didn't try cruassants but they look amazing. The owner is very nice. One of my favourite spots in Folkestone. Always happy to come back. Dog friendly!
Found this gem by accident. The owner is an Italian chef. He is very serious about foods. He told us his pistachio croissants are sourced from a local bakery from Sicily, Italy. The croissants are exceptional. They are flaky and crunchy from the outside. The pistachio filling tastes natural and the sweetness is just right. It adds an excellent touch to croissants. We never knows croissants can taste that good with pistachios. We also tried sfogliatella, a kind of cream pastry. The cream filling adds a touch of clove, which opens our eyes on the use of such strong herb in desserts. The coffee beans are sourced from a local roastery from Eastbourne. The owner believes that small local producers/farmers know how to make/grow their specialty, as compared to commercial producers who only care about cost. We share this belief too because during our UK travel, our two best restaurants are both small restaurants in remote parts of Scotland who sourced their ingredients locally. One is on the remote part of Island of Skype. The other is on the highest town in the highlands.
