Being a cheese lover myself I was excited to visit this place. The Cheese Room, located near Rochester Castle, is a charming restaurant specializing in all things cheese. The venue is in an old building with both indoor and outdoor seating, which adds to its character. We opted to sit outside, but the tables are a bit small, especially since the plates are quite large. The menu offers a great variety of cheeses, and we enjoyed the British Cheese Board and I tried the pesto sourdough sandwich. The food was good, but the service could have been more organized. It took a while to receive the menu, and when it came time to pay, we ended up going to the bar as we were in a hurry. The ladies' toilet, while clean, is quite small and a bit tricky to find. Overall, despite a few minor issues, we had a lovely time and would recommend it for cheese lovers!

Went here for lunch with my boyfriend and it is a beautiful quaint place to eat with a very lovely atmosphere. The food was good and the cheese platter we had was nice. The service was also good and the staff were pleasant. Would recommend for a different place to eat in the lovely town of Rochester.

Visited on a Sunday for my Daughter’s birthday and had a great time . Large selection on the menu including non cheese . I had British Cheese board , my daughter continental board , Mrs C Camembert and youngest Fish & Chips with some sides was an excellent start. Very extensive drinks menu and we finished with dessert and I have to say the Sticky Toffee pudding was the best I had . For 5 of us including service £180. Staff very friendly and attentive and would definitely visit again .

First time visiting The Cheese Room and it did not disappoint. The menu was a set one 2 course £27 or 3 courses for £34. You could also choose toasted sandwiches and lighter lunches. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We were able to settle down and browse the menu without being interrupted. We had the 2 courses and had Beef Roast with Yorkshire pudding and amazing potaotes, veg was carrots, parsnip, beetroot and squash all roasted. We also ordered cauliflower cheese which is £6 for 2 people. It was lovely to have cauliflower that was cooked and not raw. The pudding we had was out of this world and couldn't fault anything, we had the cheesecake. It was more on the expensive side than i would usually pay, but it was so worth it. Service charge of 10% is automatically added and this is advertised on their website. Was a lovely experience but would recommend booking.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Fleur de Thé - we coincidentally came on the first day of their Christmas menu, so we blindly had the Christmas Croque Monsieur and the Turkey sage and onion stuffing sourdough sandwich. The Christmas Croque Monsieur was gorgeously decadent - a cheese lovers dream! You absolutely will not need to eat any more, it is so filling in the best way possible. My mother enjoyed the turkey sandwich. Lovely atmosphere, service was prompt, only downside was they ran out of the gluten free cake because it was so popular. Highly recommend this place, lovely to have it in Medway, and will return. It initially seems expensive for Medway but the quality is excellent and so worth it.

First time popping in for brunch and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was nice and served quickly, very friendly staff, beautiful and cozy atmosphere topped it up. Also fairly priced which is great Great place for brunch or lunch at Rochester high street

Had a lovely time with my Sister & Daughter. Celebrating my Sisters 60th birthday. We had a warm welcome even though we were early the staff were very accommodating. Food was lovely and bottomless drinks cold and hot to be had. The only thing that was lacking was some soft music in the background would give it more atmosphere.

Omg i love this place the coffee is lovely and I'm.addicted to those little pistacho aragostine with a coffee they are delicious. The owner works so hard and it's a lovely place.

My husband and I were going to go to Starbucks but are keen to support local businesses so we decided on here instead. Absolutely delicious hot chocolate, beautiful cakes and pastries, speedy and friendly service, all with a smile. We'll be visiting again for sure. Thank you.

5 stars because you get given plastic straws. If they were 1 thousand stars I would give them all of them. It feels like being in 2016 in this caffe

Lovely little cafe, nice selection of food & drinks. Outlook is not perfect (on a car park) but great seating, lovely atmosphere and I'll definitely go again.

Visited today late afternoon and will certainly return. The Samosa tasted particularly delicious but also enjoyed a pasty & Panini which were great plus drinks. Grabbed a Belgium bun & a slice of chocolate to go as we left and they too were great. Attentive service including recommendations as there were so many cakes we struggled to choose.

I stopped here with family to enjoy the Rochester high street, and it was a really great experience. The staff were so kind and friendly, and made us feel catered to and welcome. The food is really good value for money as well and the upstairs section has good views and a nice atmosphere. Lenny’s is a good cafe for families and those with kids as well. I would definitely recommend this cafe for those in need of an affordable, quick lunch or coffee break without the huge wait times of other cafes up the high street.

Went for afternoon tea and had a lovely selection of food. You get to choose your sandwich fillings you would like from their huge range they do and comes with sausage rolls, lots of cakes and scones with jam and cream. We couldn’t eat it all so they supplied boxes for us to take it home in.

Super friendly staff, great food and lovely tea. Clean, modern and tidy restrooms too.

By far the best hot chocolate in Rochester! Delicious toasties - highly recommend the goats cheese one and a great friendly service from Abi & Skye.

Went here for afternoon tea. Prices around $25/person You get a choice of 6 sandwiches divided into smaller bite sizes for your group and an assortment of desserts and a drink of choice. The service and the atmosphere were great. The desserts were amazing. The sandwiches were not good at all in my opinion. I might just be a picky person but there was so much sauce and they all tasted the same and not different enough. Too much mayo for sure and it just wasn’t my cup of tea at all. I don’t think many Americans would like it. And even my British friend said it had too much sauce. I left and for myself another sandwich at a shop nearby haha but again might just be my personal taste buds.

I visited with my family and the first thing we noticed was the lovely ambiance of the restaurant, great choice of music playing. The staff were so attentive and excellent with the children. I started with one of the best Americano coffees I’ve had, followed by the incredible Big Tel’s breakfast - you have to try it! Excellent choice on the kids menu and we finished off our meal with the delicious fresh cakes. Well done to the team at Tiny Tim’s - 5 stars!

What a lovely little find! We had 2 afternoon teas which were fab! Lovely cakes, sandwiches were really nice, hot chocolate was also fab! Highly recommend! Also lovely staff that were very accommodating with our little ones and our daughter had her first jam sandwich which she loved so thank you!

Little pricey but where isn't. Had great fun and was lucky to pay standard price but got a VIP booth. Got drinks before we started to bowl, this is bcz on previous trips the drinks take forever to come to u. Great choice of games in the arcade and plenty of choice for the kids 👍 Weekend u need to get tickets online first as it's nearly full before lunch time, also think they're cheaper online

Excellent alleys. Very busy as it was school summer holidays. Reception staff very helpful and polite. Offered assistance in setting up score board screen but we declined as the kids like to do it. Plenty of balls so lots of choice. Once playing a delightful young girl appeared and asked if we needed any refreshments? We ordered and paid by card and drinks arrived within 5 minutes Once we had finished bowling we went to the arcade area. Noisy and fun 🤩 The Hippo machine was playing up and one of the hungry beasts refused to work. I spoke to reception and he came immediately and opened the machine. Said that they had had a few problems, apologised and refunded the £1.00. I did change a £10.00 note in the change machine but only got £9.80 back??? Seemed petty to complain. Only downside was the heat. It was a hot day and the air conditioning could just be felt. We were all hot and sticky by the time we left (2 hours). Would recommend and will definitely be returning. It’s not the closest alley to my home but with the free parking and great staff it is the best choice by far. 5*

Great day with my children and grandchildren. Plenty of arcade games/amusements for the kids before going on the Bowling. The staff were all very friendly and helpful organisinfg food and drinks for us.

Slow service had to wait 20 minutes to order drinks, and food looked good but not as good as last time. Roast potatoes had a very hard exterior, so once in, I only ate the middle. I would say the veg was just blanched, so Al dente. Yorkshire Pudding looked good but was rubbery. The best was the roast beef and roast Lamb. The water for the table came in a nice bottle but inside the neck was dirty as if not cleaned. Biggest bug bear was non blue badge parked in the disabled parking space

It has an amazing atmosphere, and the service is hands down the best. there were many waiters, all were nice, but we got surved by duggy. They were very nice and they helped so much(idk if their name is spelt right). I very much recommend the ribieye steak and the fish and chips overall amazing place ☆☆☆☆☆

A nice little pub with nice indoor and outdoor seating and an outside garden area. The kids play area was nice but could be improved, very small and they have the space for it too. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. However the food was hit and miss. The chips looked very greasy and not at all appetising, a shame as they seem like a staple with most dishes. The mushroom carbonara and calamari were great. The staff member serving us was lovely. Prices similar to most pubs..

Thanks. We stopped for a quick bite before a long journey. Very tasty, fast, despite the fact that many tables were occupied by large groups of guests. Very pleasant service. Nice garden and there is a children's playground.

The coffee, service, cakes and atmosphere are great at this independent coffee shop. The ready-made snacks are variable, but don't let that put you off, it's a coffee shop! Also, there's no WiFi, and mobile signal is weak inside, so if you want to have a conversation, this is the place!

Great coffee. Good selection of cakes. We love the collection of coffee pots on the wall.

We’ve been coming here for months & it is a firm favourite in our household, the coffee is always delicious and the staff are friendly. It’s usually busy, but if you can score a table outside it’s great for people watching & dog spotting in the sunshine! Would recommend a visit for sure.
