Ashfield Café

The finest cafe in town. I come here for the Special English breakfast deal which is delicious. Bacon, egg, sausage, beans with tea. It's a great way to start the day. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The atmospgere is nice with a good choice of music in the background. Overall, I highly recommend. ^_^

Fantastic full English breakfast this morning. Highest quality ingredients cooked to perfection. A great pot of tea, winter sun coming in through the windows. Attentive but no subservient staff. Best breakfast I've eaten out for a very long time.

Having morning breakfast at Ashfield cafe. Amazing services, great choices from menu selection. Has been going to this cafe over 25years. Changing from one owner to another. But the cafe still maintain their authentic breakfast of my choices. Thanks to great service. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice Cafe! Clean, warm, and spacious. Waitress is friendly. And the decor is old but has a traditional family run feel. It's great atmosphere. The only criticism I had was my sausage sandwich. One would generally expect two sausages cut in half and spread into a sandwich. Instead it appears I got one sausage cut into thin strips. It was like eating a sliced pork ham sandwich. Maybe at £2.50, I get what I pay for? The quality of the bread is superb though. And the tea very good! I would go again, but probably won't order the sausage sandwich again.

Claud W Dennis Coffee
3 Chase Side, London N14 5BP, UK | Coffee Shop P: 020 8245 7466
Rating: 4.7 (354) Price Level:
This is my favorite coffee shop ever! The coffee is so delicious, the atmosphere is so heartwarming, the decoration gives peace. Also, the baristas are very friendly! They have separate tables for those who sit for long periods of time (laptop users), so I can easily find a place to enjoy my coffee or work with a laptop. It’s so kind of them. 🧡
Rating: 5 / 5
One of my favourite coffee shops in the area, the aesthetic of the shop is lovely and they make great coffee. Their desserts are limited but no surprise there because they are super yummy. I recommend Bueno Brownie✨🤩 The staff are always so kind and friendly. It’s my favourite for a reason👏

Having ordered a few times via Deliveroo when visiting family, I decided to visit Claud W Dennis in person and wasn't disappointed. The coffee and food was perfect and the staff were very polite and accommodating - albeit if they didn't entertain my cheeky request to break the laptop rule (but fair is fair). The atmosphere was fab throughout my visit with cheery visitors popping in and out, often to the sound of Caio! Hope to visit again soon.

Heard so much about this coffee shop and it didn’t disappoint! The staff were so friendly, the atmosphere was lovely and the coffee - SO GOOD. By far the nicest coffee I’ve had in a while. Great coffee, great service. What else can you ask for?! I’ll be back!

Such a gorgeous little café. The original details are so special - even the toilet! I sat in here and worked for an hour, and it was a very pleasant environment. They have tablets for people to use if needs be and plenty of USB sockets. Although that doesn't consume the place or distract from the ambience. Maria, the owner, seems like a very popular figure in the local community! I'd love to have this place on my doorstep.

What an amazing place to visit. In the heart of Knightsbridge an amazing cafe. Great ambience. Beautiful decorations and even more beautiful desserts. I had a Turkish coffee and the Napoleon. Reasonable price for what I had. Would recommend going alone with friends or family. Staff was super nice and service was quick. Great experience for an afternoon coffee and dessert.

I visited here for a dinner date, the first to attract me was the aesthetic ambience and the welcoming atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They had an array of food, beverages and desserts, especially the those on display were eye catching. We got ourselves a slice of milk cake which was delicious, a bulled beef burger which needed more flavor, a cup of cappuccino which had the perfect blend of coffee and milk and a mango and passion bubble tea which was the best. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and location. Would definitely recommend 🫶🏻🙌

It's just an impromptu decision to come here. I was waiting for my family to finish shopping in Harrods, so I decided to try this cafe. Not gonna lie, it was a great experience overall. It was busy, yet the staff managed to handle the crowd so well. The service was great, the interior design was aesthetic, the atmosphere is not too noisy, and the Oreo Cheesecake that I had tastes amazing. Every penny was well spent here. Would definitely return to try another dishes. Highly recommended!

I visited on a unplanned visit and it was really busy, however I was served in a timely manner and my cappuccino was lovely. Prices are a tad high but that's what you get being in a tourist area. It was also advertising a lamb cawl and bread at a decent price, however I never had time to try it, but hopefully I'll get to on my next visit. This is also a dog friendly cafe

A lovely busting coffee shop with a great array of meals from full breakfast to an array of sandwiches. Mouthwatering cakes and sweet treats for which I was assured they had no calories whatsoever. 😁 Good tasty coffee to revive my spirits. A lovely pitstop at this super friendly business. Staff helpful and otherl LP customers friendly. Dog friendly too and lots of outside seats. Just what I needed after my lovely winter walk to Pwll Du and back via Pwll Du Head. Thoroughly recommended.

Popped in this morning, had a few hours to kill until first bus from an overnight walk / camp. Chap there was lovely and friendly, opened early, lovely breakfast sandwich also brought me a complimentary tea (as I looked like I could do with one), lovely bit of small talk - all round nice guy who made the experience. Thanks.

A very busy coffee shop which caters for everyone. Dog walkers, hill climbers, and any other members of the public which happen to be passing. There is a farm shop selling all sorts of produce, public toilets 🚻 and a large car park which overlooks the most fabulous views of the Gower. Although we had coffee and cake which was delicious, there were so many other dogs very close to us, my dog doesn't do too well in this kind of situation so we had to cut our "rest period " shorter than planned. Nevertheless will always revisit and highly recommend it.

Always welcomed with pleasant smile. We really get good vibes at Kiva. Food is mouth watering, present and taste wise. Must visit

I love this place, it’s spacious, has an extensive menu, all day breakfast and lovely staff. I’ve tried a few of their breakfast dishes, they’re always tasty and I love how the dishes on the ‘hearty breakfasts’ section of the menu aren’t stingy with the vegetables so you hit them 5 a day quotas. BIG portions. recently I finally tried their French toast. Let me tell you I dream of this French toast. it’s the best I’ve had in this country if not the world - huge portion, generous amount of syrup & fruit and the perfect texture. Great iced coffee too. the price is decent for the portions & flavour

We recently gathered with my friends. Amazing little place for breakfast. The atmosphere were cozy and clean. The food were delicious. However they need to improve their service quality. We ordered chips and water together with our breakfast. They forgot to bring them even though they charged.

Great food and very friendly staff, it's like a family atmosph, very relaxed, and they don't rush you out when you have finished your meal. Brilliant place.

Coffee Island - Southgate

Rating: 4.3 (56) Price Level:
Best coffee in Southgate, Coffee Island sets me up for the day ahead. The shop has a fresh and trendy appearance, yet manages to feel cosy and welcoming. Anna is really helpful, she remembers you as a customer and exactly what your order is. She also makes a mean cappuccino. In fact all the staff are fantastic and I could not recommend this coffee shop more.
Rating: 5 / 5
I got a lovely cappuccino from here that was a smooth velvety roast. I would highly recommend your morning coffee fix and passing by. I got the standard house blend that was great.

I have been coming here since it opened I have always enjoyed the company of the staff and manager. Since the manager has changed the prices and atmosphere has changed, the new manager was very rude to my mum when he didn’t understand what she was ordering and shouted at her in front of a full cafe and this is not acceptable and I have seen him shout at the staff and speak to them unprofessionally I have not been back much since, and everything is very overpriced now, I don’t agree with how he spoke to my mum or the staff that day last week! If the coffee wasn’t good and the staff other than the manager weren’t nice to me I wouldn’t come back because of him! Honest review.

This is one of my favourite cafés in my area. The interior is so homely and the staff is very sweet and welcoming. Their pastries are simply delicious! Contrary to most commentaries here, I actually like their no-laptop policy on weekends. It creates the atmosphere of a real café where people still take time to talk, enjoy, or just contemplate instead of staring at their screens.
