An absolute win, discovering this little gem, so close to home. The staff were so lovely, engaging, and helpful with the menu. The food, out quick, and super delicious, also cheep! The atmosphere is dusty (in a good way) it reminded me of cafeās I visited in Istanbul. The books along the wall are a great additive. The facilities were clean, everything was presented with class. I'll definitely be back!

Omg! Beautiful brunch here! I got the Morning Palestine dish and it was sensational! The muhammra was so tasty, so was the sesame bread and everything else! The highlight was definitely the baklava french toast! 100% recommend! Amazing pistachio flavor and crunch! Would so recommend! Prices are on the higher price, the vibe inside in nice, our waiter was lovely, one of the waitress looked like she didnāt want to be there but overall we had a great brunch!

Very cute little cafƩ on Stoke Newington High Street serving amazing coffee. We had the pleasure of trying a seasonal offer tahini maple latte which was delightful. Their mocha very rich and creamy. Great selection of cakes, pastries and breakfast and brunch foods both vegan and non-vegan. To eat we had the Damascus and the baklava french toast. The former was a nice variety of very tasty foods, although I was left just a little disappointed with the portions especially when compared to the other dish which was absolutely massive. The french toast and cream was delicious, (perhaps even a little too much cream dare I say!) but definitely not for those who aren't craving anything sweet at the moment. To conclude, we will definitely be back to try all of the other dishes, because they all looked incredible going past our table!

Highly recommend the Tahini latte āļø!! It has a thicker texture than regular latte but soooooo yum, you can smell and taste the tahini in it, blended in in a warm, soulful wayāļø I had a Damascus and my friend ordered the Harkney Feast. The babaganoush & hummus in the Damascus goes really well with the pita so I dived right in and didnāt worry about making my hands messy, haha! Everythingās made in the house, including tomato baked beans in the Hackney Feastš it doesnāt have the fake sweetness of all canned beans and the sausage is tender & soft~ They also have no-added-sugar smoothies š which is perfect for warm weathers.

Lovely little cafe, nestled in a quiet corner of Burleigh Gardens in Southgate. I had the eggs deluxe for breakfast and it was superb! So delicious and the cappuccino perfect. Service was so quick and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend. āļø

Great menu, lots to choose from. Excellent coffee. Nice surprise was the side salad with eggs Florentine, lovely dressing and a great bit of shrubbery to start the day.

Went on Saturday because of all of the good reviews - they are true! We got the avocado wrap and Full English breakfast totalling about Ā£21. Every ingredient was delicious and the dishes were prepared quickly so I definitely recommend this cafe :)

I had a Mediterranean breakfast, which was good but should have been served with better bread (not only two plain white slices). Also, it came with tea and it was not possible to swap for a coffee, which seems like an unnecessary limitation. My wife had the Canadian breakfast, which had good pancakes, although maybe the hash brown were not top quality. I also had a cappuccino, which was well done, with a nice thick foam and good flavour.

A jewel on the edge of Southgate highstreet. The interior has so much atmosphere compared to the frontage. There is plenty of seating and very clean. Service is impeccable, and the menu has a great variety. The food is fresh, hot, and homemade, which is presented nicely when it reaches the table. Parking is on the street or free for 3 hours at a nearby supermarket. I will be back!

I wanted French pastries and a selection of cakes for my birthday. I decided to give them a try based on the photos on their Facebook page and reviews. Due to Covid they didn't have as many selection as they would normally have but I managed to pick up a few things. I'm a foodie and love cake so I'm very picky when it comes to taste and textures. Most of the cakes were good, my favourites were the passion fruit cheesecake and mojito cake. The chocolate ones were nice too, not sickly sweet. The pastries were good too, the plain croissant was buttery and fresh. The reason why I left out a star was that they missed a pastry in my bag, I did make a large order and spent about Ā£50 so was miffed at myself also for not checking before I left. I found out they need about 2 days notice for occasion cakes which isn't too bad. Only issue is that no-one ever picks up the phone whenever I called! Other than that if you're in the area give it a try (just make sure you check you have everything before you leave!!)

We decided to have breakfast here since we were staying nearby and had read all the wonderful reviews. We tried three different breakfast dishes along with fresh orange juice, and everything was delicious ā we left feeling full and satisfied! While the food was tasty, it was really the warm atmosphere and the kindness of the staff that made the experience memorable. Their friendliness and genuine attentiveness are what keep people coming back and leaving such positive feedback. Thank you for making our morning special ā Iām sure you brighten the day for so many of your customers! š

Iāve lived in Kennington for 15 years and have always meant to try this place. Finally did today and regret not coming in sooner. Friendly staff, good food, good service. Good fry up with decent Cumberland style sausages and bubble (bit of a rarity south of the river). Iāll definitely be back and would recommend!

Lovely local cafe with gigantic and delicious breakfast. Gee was our server, and he welcomed us into his place. And even though it was filled with mostly locals, he humored us with group photos. Men in high visibility construction vests were seated all around us. You know youāve found a gem when this is the case. Would return!

This place is an absolute must when visiting London. It has everything you want in a greasy spoon. As an Irishman it pains me to say this but I've never had such an amazing breakfast in all my life. I had the luck to get inside The Pantry right before the actual opening (1/8/2021). The interior design and the verity of products are just amazing! I had a chance to speak with one of the two owners, LOVED HIM. I am looking forward getting some - Home made food done by actual chefs - spices and herbs - great coffee (already had my dairy free today) - some home decor stuff See my photos from today. #LKTG

Brilliant Brunch spot in Covent Garden! Drury 188-189 is an absolute gem. The French toast is perfectly light and indulgent, but the highlight has to be the baklava pancake. The cosy atmosphere and lovely staff make it even more enjoyable. Iāll definitely be back!

Drury 188-189 truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best cafĆ©s in London. Located in a central spot with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, itās perfect for a quick bite, a full meal, or just to relax with a good coffee. The variety on the menu is impressiveāfrom small bites to proper meals, including scones with jam, they have something for every craving. Food I tried the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale, and both dishes were exceptional. The lattes were perfectly crafted, smooth and creamy, and the Coco Loco smoothie was a refreshing addition to the meal. The flavors were spot on, and the presentation made everything look even more inviting. Atmosphere & Service The atmosphere is both cozy and bustling, which adds to the charm. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home even if it gets busy. Just keep in mind it can get quite crowded, so be prepared for a short wait of around 15-20 minutes during peak times. But trust me, itās worth every minute! Final Thoughts Whether youāre a local or just visiting London, Drury 188-189 is a must. With great food, a central location, and a warm vibe, itās one of those places youāll want to return to again and again. Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Drury 188-189. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and a charming decor that instantly makes you feel at home. The charcuterie board was stunningly presented, featuring a delightful selection of cheeses, cured meats, fresh grapes, and nuts, perfectly paired with the creamy dips and olives. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients were evident in every bite. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring our experience was seamless from start to finish. Whether youāre looking for a relaxed evening with friends or a romantic date spot, this place is a hidden gem in London. Iāll definitely be coming back for the amazing food and great vibes!

Superb breakfast and excellent service. Attention to detail on presentation is outstanding, as were the perfectly cooked poached eggs. This place has a fabulous vibe, a low key venue with very attentive staff and great quality food. The menu is a little different from other places too, with awesome touches such as rye bread on the Benedict. Iāve eaten in a lot of restaurants for breakfast and this is one of the best. Go here. It will not disappoint.

Scarlett Green offers a vibrant and stylish setting for a delicious brunch experience. With a menu that blends Australian-inspired dishes and classic favorites, it caters to all tastes, including plenty of fresh and healthy options. The relaxed yet trendy atmosphere, combined with top-quality ingredients, makes it a must-visit spot for brunch lovers in the city.
Rating: 5 / 5
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Scarlett Green, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic brunch. The highlight of my meal was the Loaded Avocado on Toastāa dish that truly exceeded my expectations, so we ordered another one. The perfectly ripe avocado, paired with the vibrant flavors of the toppings, was nothing short of spectacular. Itās clear that great attention is paid to the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I opted for the Dirty Daisy, which was as delightful. A special shoutout goes to Emily (not sure about her name, it was the blonde lady that served us and, of course, Stephane), the hostess who provided exceptional service throughout my visit. Her welcoming demeanor, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm made me feel valued and added a personal touch to the experience. Scarlett Green has left a lasting impression, and I canāt wait to return to try more of their offerings. Highly recommend!

Having ordered a few times via Deliveroo when visiting family, I decided to visit Claud W Dennis in person and wasn't disappointed. The coffee and food was perfect and the staff were very polite and accommodating - albeit if they didn't entertain my cheeky request to break the laptop rule (but fair is fair). The atmosphere was fab throughout my visit with cheery visitors popping in and out, often to the sound of Caio! Hope to visit again soon.

This is my favorite coffee shop ever! The coffee is so delicious, the atmosphere is so heartwarming, the decoration gives peace. Also, the baristas are very friendly! They have separate tables for those who sit for long periods of time (laptop users), so I can easily find a place to enjoy my coffee or work with a laptop. Itās so kind of them. š§”

I love this place, itās spacious, has an extensive menu, all day breakfast and lovely staff. Iāve tried a few of their breakfast dishes, theyāre always tasty and I love how the dishes on the āhearty breakfastsā section of the menu arenāt stingy with the vegetables so you hit them 5 a day quotas. BIG portions. recently I finally tried their French toast.
