Fantastic find on our way to Liverpool. Everything was really nice especially the friendly atmosphere.

The place you need early in the morning. Simple, no frills. Had a good brewed coffee and scrambled egg on toast. Just too bad I couldn’t fully understand the town gossip.

Excellent friendly cafe with amazing owners. They can’t do enough for you, and always service with a smile. Keep up the good work ladies we wish you all the best. Definitely recommend if in the area.

Really pleasant lady’s working here, always very chatty and friendly. I have gone in on my days off just to have a chat and an amazing lunch! Thank you so much for the lovely food and company. Going to miss you when I leave collage as this is my go to place for lunch and I would advise more people to come as it is delicious. Having seen others' reviews, when we went to Ashbourne, we headed to Friends. Full English with fried bread (yes, fried bread!) for me and poached eggs on muffins for her. Couldn't eat all my Full English (even after passing over my hash browns to her) it was so big. Nice coffees too. Oh yes, and the mushrooms were proper fried portobellos. Very pleased we visited! Picture of menu included, but blackboard on wall showed loads of other nice stuff on offer.

Exceptional experience. This was our first ever visit with our 4 legged friend and the welcome could not have been any more warmer. The servers were chatty, polite and ready to explain anything and everything about their menu. I had my first taste of a rice crispie chicken burger and all I can say is wow! You must try to appreciate it. Hot chocolate and coffee we would go as far the say the BEST in Derbyshire. We can’t wait to return.

Really nice breakfast spot with a great selection on the menu. The decor and ambiance is also really nice and works perfectly. The dishes are nicely presented and the drinks and coffee options are also good. I had the eggs benedict but would have preferred the eggs to be slightly more cooked as the whites were a little runny but still edible (poached eggs aren't the easiest) and I think a tad more bacon too as it was quite slim. Others in my group had a full English and the bacon and chicken pancakes which they enjoyed. We also tried the special brew of coffees which was a nice experience. Overall really good place and would consider revisiting if in the area.

we had a spontaneous trip to Ashbourne and this cafe caught our attention straight away. And so good we came there! I loved the decor, and menu offers so much more than a typical cafe. We had butternut squash on toast (looked and tasted great) , my partner had pancakes with bacon, breaded chicken with maple syrup.. sooo delicious! and coffee - that's another big STAR for amazing ones. I had a beetroot latte (rarely on the menu at most cafes) - it was perfect. We already planning to come back to Ashbourne in the summer

Lovely spot for a drink & light meal! We visited last year and enjoyed our experience with the friendly f'coffee team. We opted for the charcoal latte & butterfly pea latte which were absolutely delightful. The vegan avocado & roasted red pepper sandwich was spot on, however a bit sweet for my taste. Nice decor and atmosphere, very popular place (we were lucky to find an available table). All in all, would definitely return when in the area.

We had the strawberry nutella and white choc pancakes with full english and hot chocolate before a long drive home. 10/10.

The F'coffee in Ashbourne is very clean, with good service and welcoming staff. It is wheelchair accessible, with a ground floor toilet and a baby's changing room. There is also additional upstairs seating, which is comfortable. The prices are very reasonable (£11), I had an amazing Fishfinger sandwich, with lettuce and tartar sauce, served with a side of the best minted mushy peas I have ever tasted and a oat milk latte. Bread was thick, soft and extremely fresh, really enjoyed.

When we visited Ashbourne, we needed to warm up before we went shopping. Unfortunately it was cold in the cafe, only a few small heaters which weren’t very good. We decided to treat ourselves to two amazing hot chocolates, the chocolate orange and the peanut butter hot chocolates. If we ever go back to Ashbourne, we’re definitely going to try their famous cakes.

Brilliant spot in Ashbourne, very helpful staff but unfortunately the man serving was a bit chaotic and seemingly didn't have a clue how to run a cafe, the old lady was lovely and couldn't do enough to help and He just got in the way - send him home and leave her to run the place is my advice . Food was lovely though

Lovely experience in a great location in the town. Great quality food at reasonable prices too. Owners/staff were so welcoming and helpful. Very impressed.

Quite a small menu, but there are some good choices. It’s nice to sit outside, very relaxing, especially if the weather is nice. I had the breakfast wrap, it was a lot bigger than i expected, quite a belly buster.

Great coffee and beautiful atmosphere! The team are great and friendly, felt very at home. The decor and vibe was gorgeous! Can’t wait to go back!

A strange ambience here but I’m not apposed to it. Clearly going for an upmarket boutique hotel type styling and while it seems odd for the area I quite like it Coffee was strong and decent. Cakes looked good although I didn’t try any. Staff were not rude but also not overly friendly. I’d definitely go back

Beautiful little pub in a nice quiet area of Doveridge, great sized beer garden and a good variety of drinks to choose from and very friendly staff members, decent sized car park.

Only one waitress who did the most amazing job as there were 11 of us.

First time Visiting Cavendish Arms and it was absolutely wonderful. Food was amazing, I had the Vegetable Lasagna. It was delicious, it was homemade and arrived with garlic bread on the side. I ordered some chips as a side dish, they were really nice too. My partner ordered the cod and chips and they really enjoyed it. All the staff were really friendly especially our waitress. The atmosphere and surroundings were really lovely, I especially loved the log burner, it looks great and smelt nice too. The toilets were spotless. Will 100% visit again and will bring the rest of the family next time.
