Wonderful find. Jo and her team made this small but perfectly lovely cafe a really special visit. Everything was delicious, the toasties were somehow so much better than the usual cafe fare, I think it was the high quality bread and ingredients. The puddings and custard were also excellent, we had the Bakewell pudding and the rhubarb and apple tart, both with (just howI like it, not too runny) custard. Excellent. Finally thanks Jo, you couldn't have made us feel more welcome! Best cafe I've been to for a long time, you can see why it won best Derbyshire cafe this year!

Gorgeous cafe! We enjoyed a delicious homemade soup, festive panini and a pot of tea for two. All of which were fantastic, a great chat with the owner too - we’ll definitely be back 😁

What a lovely quaint little cafe! We took our three dogs in, they were made very welcome. Thank you! We had delicious breakfast buns that were full of quality bacon and really good coffee. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the next day for breakfast before we left for home. All the food looked lovely. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Jo the owner, made time to chat with us and gave us recommendations where to visit. Highly recommend.

A little gem of a spot! Only room for about 15-16 people but the staff make you feel special and looked after! Hot sandwiches were lovely and I had my first Bakewell Pudding here - a total delight! Vegan friendly, dog friendly, generally friendly!

What a lovely cafe. If you like good coffee, cakes and really friendly staff, then this is the place for you. This is a return trip for us and this time I tried the traditional Bakewell pudding with custard and I was not disappointed! It’s de-lish! 😋 We only managed brief visits to Bakewell, but we’d come back just for The Honey Bun any time! Thanks so much 🥰
