Beautifull atmospheric pub...full of history. Had fantastic meals tonight at really good prices, cooked to perfection! The ploughmans....wow! Filling isnt the word ( doggy bag a must!)....well done ALL at the Anglers! A must for a visit or to eat in...loved it👍
We had an excellent meal in this rather lovely traditional pub, in a great location. Highly recommended....we will be back for another great meal soon
Great hike pub close to monsal trail we had a good lunch and drinks. The food was well cooked and served with a cheerful smile. It was very busy. Had a small veranda and some outdoor seating but too cold today
We love this pub. Whatever time of the year, it is perfect to sit beside the river. The food is excellent and a great choice of craft ales.(shame I was driving). The Anglers Rest is a hidden gem and off the beaten track. Get directions via Google maps, etc, because it isn't a pub that you would normally stumble across. It is the sort of pub that you would wish to be snowed in😊🍻🥘🍳🍛🍺🍹🍽🍴
Fabulous ploughman's. More than I could eat. Ales are brilliant. I had a light ale, so tasty. Best bit is that dogs are allowed.
