UnG Hair is my favourite place to be. Whether it's for my hair or facial treatments to the cups of teas and laughter, Ummi and the team make my appointments one to remember, I love going to this salon and would highly recommend it to everyone .

This is the third time I’ve been to ‘U and G Hair and Aesthetics’ services with Ummi (saloon owner, hair professional and Lee-On-Solent’s best business personalities. She is a Star). Per her guidance/ recommendation, I made an appointment to have my braids removed, hair shampooed and conditioned. Prior to starting, Ummi explained the process, what was going to happen, the time and the cost, ensuring I was comfortable with what was going to take place. Once she could see I was have, she went straight to work like an athlete coming out of starting blocks. I could not believe how quick and an efficient she was and quickly braiding my hair in no time. I’ve added before and after pictures (six in total). I have to share I’m really pleased with the end results. Very pleased with the service I’ve received. I will definitely be using her hair dressing skill again and most importantly, I’ll be recommend to friends and family.

My 11yr old mixed race daughter with full on afro hair has just had her first appointment with the lovely Ummi and these visits will now be regular and the only person and Salon we will use in the future. Ummi is amazing and managed to detangle and get my daughters unruly hair in to a manageable state to now have braids which will be done next week. No mean feat I can tell you and not being great with hair myself I am so relieved to find someone I trust with my daughters hair after poor experiences in the past at other salons who really don't understand mixed race hair. I totally recommend Ummi and her team for any hair needs but if you have mixed race children and are struggling then please do not hesitate......make an appointment or pop down for a consultation. Friendly, welcoming, patient, great facilities......I could go on.......just WOW. Thankyou so much Ummi......see you Wednesday.xx

I have visited U&G hair salon several times, Ummi really listens to what you require and I have been pleased with the results. The salon is beautifully designed with a relaxed feel, which comes from Ummis friendly and professional approach. As yet, I have only had my hair cut and blow dried, I will treat myself soon to some of the relaxing beauty treatments on offer.
