I went to this shop on a whim , however I'm very pleased I did. Jay the owner was very welcoming and the stylist worked tirelessly to fix my unkempt locs, had great banter, and indeed worked miracles. I was extremely pleased with my results. Would definitely recommend. 10 stars

Absolutely speechless, this is the Best Black hair salon I have seen in London! The shop is top tier with a family setting and the staff are definitely the closest I have seen to the way the Americans do hair. Quality costs and I will happily spend these prices again.. Visited New Beginnings By Jay Yesterday and from the moment I walked into the shop I instantly felt comfortable and in good hands. I couldn’t give enough credit to the staff they were amazing BIG UP Nancy for the braids and Rochelle. The salon is beautiful, pure vibes and energy and I can’t wait to come back. I had a phenomenal experience at new beginnings by jay. - easy to get along with - They offered me hot chocolate - lovely reception - lovely hairstylist - but most importantly my hair came out phenomenally - 0 complaints A bit pricey for my liking but once you book at new beginnings by jay, you’d understand why. I’ve never experienced a hair salon like this. Definitely recommend 🤝🏾
