I had the lovely hairdresser Mea do a full head of highlights on my hair. Such a comfortable environment and all the stuff made sure that you got something to drink and was looked after. The hair turned out beautifully. Would highly recommend.

I have been going to Robin James for 12 years because of its quality and consistency. Aveda colours are also very kind to the hair. Joanne has been my hair stylist since she qualified. She really cares about her work and takes pride in doing a really good job. She is talented and thoughtful and fun to spend an hour or two with! I totally recommend her services without reservation.

Amber has literally transformed my hair into something amazing. Amber is friendly and made me feel comfortable straight away. I wasn’t sure how short I wanted my hair at first but I am so happy with my cut. Definitely would recommend this hair salon to anyone! :)

I messaged to have my hair done, with in 24 hours I was in the salon for a consultation, that evening all was in place and a few days later my hair was transformed I wanted it done ASAP and it was and saying that! Not being from the area, I googled to find a good hairdresser and beautician and I was so lucky to have come upon The Little Sanctuary in Gillingham. Lee cut and colured my blonde hair to perfection, natural looking and perfectly blended with existing colour. The manicure and pedicure were top class, hygenic, very professional and my nails look wonderful. Almost makes me wish I lived here! Thank you.....if I am ever in the area again I will definitely be rebooking

After being let down by my local hairdressers, I needed to find somewhere to get my hair cut. I found a last-minute appointment with Lois at Shaftesbury. All staff that I seamed friendly, Providing a lovely atmosphere. I gave Lois very little input as to what I wanted. The haircut is amazing; I will be booking again when I need my next haircut. Definitely recommended

My sister hired Gill and her team for hair and make-up for her bridal party. It was a wonderful experience. Gill knew exactly what I wanted, was so lovely to chat with during the styling and my updo lasted all night. Thank you for making me look my absolute best!

I love this salon! Suzannah is wonderful, knows exactly what to do even if I don’t know what I want, she listens to my ideas and adds her own so I get the perfect haircut every time. The salon has a really nice vibe, everyone chats to you and you’re made to feel so welcome. Very reasonably priced too! Thank you for a lovely haircut!

Suzannah is fabulous! I shouldn't really write a review as it's increasingly difficult to get an appointment with her, but the secret seems to be out already and she deserves all the success in her new salon!

I could not have chosen a better person to ask to do my hair for my wedding and also my bridesmaids. Communication with Suzannah was an absolute breeze and she was so calm and patient with my lack of decisiveness! We had a hair trial a few weeks before the big day, which made it all the more exciting and I visited the beautiful salon a couple of times prior to the day for my daughter and I to have a trim. She was also brilliant with my daughter who is 4 years old and not usually great at sitting still! On the day itself Suzannah travelled to our wedding venue and managed to do not only my hair, but six of my bridesmaids (with some help!) and timings couldn't have gone smoother. Suzannah is also such an easy person to chat to and she was just a great personality to have amongst us all. Can’t recommend Salon no.12 enough. After a horrific colour experience by a well known Salon Suzannah saved Christmas for me and not only corrected my yellow hair disaster to a beautiful ash natural looking blonde. Having had my hair turned purple then put in a bleach bath my hair anxiety was high! Suzannah worked with confidence and made me feel immediately at ease that she knew exactly what was needed. New movie title the Hairdresser that saved Christmas! 🎅

I've been going to Katie Burrows-Kerr for years now and she always does an amazing job. I love the way I feel when I leave the salon, even if it's just from a simple trim. I had my first salon colour last time (previously always home dyed) and I was so happy with the end result, my hair was so vibrant and shiny as well as being super soft! The atmosphere in the salon is always really friendly. I find going into some salons quite intimidating but everyone at MeraKi is so welcoming.

I’ve been going to Meraki for the past couple of years and have always left with dream hair, confidence and a spring in my step. I’ve had styles by Lily, Daisy and Emma and have always been super happy with my hair. I work away but drove 5 hours because I rate this salon this much. Everyone works so hard, even the apprentices and I cannot recommend Meraki enough. Super knowledgeable, full of useful advice on hair care and expert stylists. Thank you for making me feel like a princess with great hair!

I just wanted to thank Daisy for the fabulous hair cut. As a curly haired woman, it’s been a constant struggle to find someone who understands curly hair. Daisy was very engaging and knowledgable, and passed on lots of tips and suggestions. I’m delighted with the results, which is a pretty unique experience for me! Thank you!

Can't recommend this place enough. I recently got married and was lucky enough to have Jana do my hair on the morning of the wedding. Her skill is incredible and she created exactly what i'd pictured in my head. She's so friendly and did an incredible job on my maid of honours hair as well! 100% would recommend!!

I visited for the first time after months of needing a cut. The staff were warm and welcoming , which was a fabulous first impression. My assigned styling was very honest, letting me know that she would prefer to pass me to a more senior stylist, due to my hairstyle. I appreciated this honesty. My cut wasn't cheap but it was really well done and I like the finished style. The head massage was wonderful and so relaxing ! I think I probably overshared my life (! Lol)but my stylist, who I believe is the proprietor, was very lovely and didn't once show any kind of impatience with me..she was great!

Today was my first visit to Beautifully Gorgeous and it certainly won’t be my last. Claire was so lovely and welcoming and did an absolutely cracking job on my nails. Since my usual salon closed down I’ve had a couple of poor experiences and feel so happy to have found this salon and such a lovely beauty therapist in Claire. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a lovely hair cut today with Nadine. I didn't know what to do with my hair, but thanks to Nadine's knowledge I walked out with my hair looking much more healthy and with more volume! I also had a lovely head, neck and shoulder massage which was a really nice touch. Already booked back in for January! I have just had my shaded eyeliner topped up by the lovely Natasha and I love how beautiful the results are. I had another lovely visit to The Highbrow Clinic, always greeted with a lovely warm welcome and whenever I visit it always feels like a treat. I had my nails done with Caitlin and she was fantastic, such an amazing eye for detail, thorough and I walked away with the most perfect nails. She was engaging and chatty and it was such a treat. I've been going to nail bars for a while, but today having had BAIB nails at The Highbrow, I won't be going back to nail bars. I had a scar on my eyebrow from cancer removal. I can honestly say you can barely tell now. So pleased with what has been done. Louisa is very warm and friendly and put me completely at ease. I would highly recommend!

Theresa did my hair on Saturday for a wedding, and I couldn’t have loved it any more! They were so lovely, and totally understood that I didn’t want a super structured look, but something more natural and fun and she completely went beyond anything I had in mind - just amazing talent.

I can't rate this Salon any higher, just amazing! Bethany and Theresa chatted to me with advice first before I booked my appointment. I happened to do a big mistake with a hair colour change and nothing was too much trouble from Bethany with my hair. The end result is outstanding and I'm so very happy after my colour re-correction.
