I visited this practice for the first time today after not seeing a dentist for around eight years. I was dreading the appointment as obviously I should have not left it so long and expected that I would need some well overdue treatment ! I was very impressed with Dr Rafiq and his colleague Rachael. Following an assessment xray, he explained in great detail the current condition relating to my dental health and gave me several treatment options. He was extremely thorough and put me at ease despite my discomfort. I look forward to visiting again in 3 months.

One of the best meals I have ever had. South Indian Garlic chicken, asked for it hot and the chef duly obliged. Lovely ambiance and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. What a find!!!

A boujie little Indian restaurant right in the centre of Todmorden, which I had no idea existed until we visited! The restaurant was well-decorated and food was nicely presented. Garlic Naan’s were very moist & buttery which is always the sign of care and quality (in my opinion!). The Madras was a little too hot for my tastes, but as a party of 4 we all enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back again!

Nice restaurant, great food and reasonable prices. The only negative was the service. Although the restaurant was only half full it took 15 minutes for us to get drinks. At the end of the meal no one came to collect our money, we had to take it to the bar. The manager needs to give the staff a shake up as otherwise everything was great.

I was brought here as a child, first time back as an adult. The sun was shining and there was plenty of parking and outside tables, so that's what I took. Fantastic position in the middle of nowhere, the roads are taxing but a delight, you need to keep your eye in front and be courteous. Back to the food, cannot fault it in any way, the portions are large and you are not left wanting. They are dog friendly and even made a special order of two boiled eggs for my (borrowed) dog as he has a restricted diet. The service was very quick and always with a smile. I would recommend booking ahead as it is very popular. You are just 5mins walk to the start of a path to Studley Pike affording fantastic views over the Todmorden valleys. A special mention to the Cumberland sausage especially made for them, with mustard mash, veg and gravy, superb!

Food was very nice and service staff were very nice and friendly. We didn't book a table so we got seated around the back on our own, in some regards that was a good thing because we have little kids, but it let down the atmosphere a little bit. But a great place, highly recommend and we will be visiting again. I would recommend the cheese and onion pie, was delicious 🥧🍻👍

I recently bought a house and my partner and I discovered that the house needed a rewire. John and his team came over, checked and agreed with us that it did need a rewire and then planned the whole project with us, e.g. where we wanted new sockets and where we didn’t. I only had a set time to get the job done between exchange and completion before the other workmen were due in and, after a few hiccups due to the other Solicitors not being as proficient as mine, he got in there the second the contracts were exchanged John’s men came in, and worked hard to make sure everything was done in time. They cleaned up after themselves as much as possible and covered up the areas that we needed to protect. John’s and his men were great, everything was done so quickly, so respectfully and it didn’t break the bank. I would recommend John and his men to anyone looking for expert, friendly and professional electrical work doing.

John listened to what I was looking for and surveyed my property for electrical works including an EV charge point. He came on the initial survey and explained the work that would be required and was upfront about the cost. My wife, quite a stickler for tidiness, was concerned that those works would make quite a mess. She need not have worried as the work carried out was very neatly done. I am happy that we now have the charge point and additional sockets as requested, and my dear missus is happy too that we do not require any plastering and decorating. One job, two happy customers. Well priced, good advice, efficient and tidy. Job’s a good un.

After meeting John Marsh at a BNI event, we appointed his services to rewire our new home. John went above and beyond, visiting the site numerous times to discuss various aspects of the project. Once an installation date was set, John's team arrived on time and performed outstanding work, accommodating our needs and coordinating seamlessly with other trades working in the house. Nothing was too much trouble for John and his team. Despite numerous changes to the scope of work, they ensured any additional tasks were completed ahead of schedule, preventing delays to other work. Casta spotted this pub as we left the market. Seven outdoor tables in front of the pub.. all busy as the August sun made an appearance. Clearly a live music venue with a stage for acts. Lovely central bar with a service area to the rear (shaded) beer garden. Casta spotted a new Rochdale brewery for me to tick off. Whitworth Valley. Had an excellent American Pale Ale. Food looks yummy, pies and giant Yorkshire puds. Blends original Burnley Masseys brewery facade with eclectic Castleford Tigers themed interior/music. Three pubs into Toddy and I love it.

Delicious food! Had the Knob chip wrap from their brand new menu and was devine would reccomend! Proper home cooked chips and not the frozen chips! And at a bargain price of £3.50! Lovely relaxing atmosphere with very good bartenders and Chris the owner is very welcoming as well!

Our first time in the Knob, heard a lot about the Monday Club.. where else can you go to a gig in a pub on a Monday afternoon? ..and they have a band on EVERY Monday!! And the food ain't too bad either! Great venue, friendly staff and atmosphere.. love it, highly recommend a visit.. or two!! 🤣😂😎🤘

Really enjoyed our experience here! Staff were so helpful and really attentive to our needs. Food was beautiful and great portion sizes and the best gravy!! Sat by the real fire and loved the whole experience from start to finish.
