James cedar clad my house and removed an internal door and plastered this. Both he and Sarah were an absolute delight to deal with. Reliable, honest and professional. James’s attention to detail and quality of work is evident and he takes great pride in his work. We are thoroughly delighted with the end result and would highly recommend JB to anyone. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was amazing. We recently had a media wall installed by them, and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. From the initial consultation where they listened attentively to our ideas and requirements and tailored the design specifically to our needs, to the delivery and install. The whole team was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Our new media wall not only looks stunning but is also incredibly functional, maximising every millimetre of space!

Pete has made two bespoke pieces of furniture for us both of which we are very pleased with. He came highly recommended by a friend and it is clear from meeting him that Pete has a wealth of knowledge and expertise and and thus he advised us on the best solution for storage and aesthetics. He created designs after careful consideration and we are so pleased with the end products. We would highly recommend!

Pete's work is exceptional, his level of detail is something to be admired. You really can tell the quality difference between furniture which is mass produced and furniture which has been crafted with many years of skill. Yes you have to wait, this isn't something that can be knocked up in a week but rather months. He has an eye for detail that impresses and you are left with not just a piece of quality furniture, but quality furniture that will last a life time. Pete made our bedroom wardrobe with 3 sliding doors with a mid section for drawers and shoe drawers with space for a TV at the top. To each side there are two compartments for hanging clothes each section being lit up when you slide open the door. There is also down lighters and power sockets inside the wardrobe. Upon completion I asked Pete for some office storage with file hangers, this also was done made to measure with every conceivable detail. I would highly recommend Pete for all your carpentry needs.

We had a very fiddly custom job - Peter made some oak mounts and re-purposed some original brass plates for period brass and Bakelite light switches that I wanted to fit in with our old property. It's hard to find someone with the patience to do a job like this! Delighted with result, Peter really took his time to understand and deliver exactly what was needed for a very reasonable price. Recommend!

Pete has made the perfect storage for our lounge. It's immaculately finished, and incredibly well thought through. We love it! He involved us throughout to make sure the storage met all our needs. There was also minimal disruption - with parts made in Pete's workshop and then fitted over a couple of days. Five stars aren't enough!

Had my hair restyled by Lewis at the Hair Shop. We talked through what I wanted to achieve and Lewis suggested what would suit me. I was totally happy with the results. I had to wash it this morning as it smelt of smoke and it was so easy to style and achieve the look I was after. The shop is well presented and clean. Will definitely be returning for a trim. If you are looking to shop local and need a hairdresser, I would highly recommend the Hair Shop and Lewis.

We recently had some traditional sliding sash windows made by Tatlow for our house in a conservation area. We are so pleased with them, great quality and they look beautiful. Colin and the staff were so helpful through the planning application process too, nothing was too much trouble. I’d highly recommend them.

Colin replaced a kitchen window for us. Needed to fit in with a world heritage site. Made of hardwood and pre finished. Whole replacement took about two and a half hours. The job looks totally awesome. Cleaned up nicely afterwards. To say we’re pleased is a massive understatement. Would highly recommend Colin and team. Five Stars easily earned

When our pump for our central heating system failed 1 week before Christmas Liam at Prime Plumbing was amazing. He had to resite the heating pump due to accessibility issues and squeezed us into his busy schedule. They charged a fair price for the work but the speed at which they completed the work was truly amazing and most importantly the quality of the workmanship was of the highest standard. Great company and a great workman. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Having looked for many months for a quality cabinet maker , we came across Tom at T W Bespoke. After a detailed and personal consultation at our home in Lichfield, Tom helped us to design our perfect library wall. It is, without doubt, better than we could have hoped for. Tom is a perfectionist and delivered everything he promised. He spent three days in our home, during which he worked tirelessly to achieve an outstanding finish. I had East Midlands Gas & plumbing over for a boiler service and they did a wonderful job servicing my Worcester combi boiler. They seemed very experienced, friendly and offered lots information to make sure I'm comfortable with any work undertaken. Can safely say that I'd be going back to them for all plumbing work in the future.

He communicated clearly, arrived on time, and was polite, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable.
