Anna came to our home within an hour or so of me calling her even though it was Sunday. She was very patient, supportive & explained what was going to happen. She even dealt with taking him to the pet crematorium for us. It was one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make after having our Barney for over 14 years bringing him home at 8 weeks old so thank you Anna for making it as quick & easy as it possibly could be

A truly lovely lady. Anna made Lucy's final moments calm and peaceful. Nothing was to much trouble. Everything was explained before and she made a heartbreaking experience just a little bit easier. Thank you Anna for your kindness we couldn't have asked for anyone better. 🌈❤️

I wanted to say a big thank you to Anna. We like most of you reading this had to make a tough decision about our little soldier Rambo. This was the most devastating thing we have ever done and we knew of Anna as she treated Rambo a few years and she has a gift with animals and people. She was compassionate professional and so sensitive to our anguish. We were thankful that she came to our home and our little boy went to sleep in his favourite spot. It was very dignified for our boy and we knew we were doing the right thing by our son Rambo. She spoke softly to Rambo and he was not distressed and after his sad passing Anna kept in touch and checking on us which she did not have to do. She is caring and genuinely concerned about everyone’s welfare, and a true professional. She also helped us with the cremation and we trusted her choice of pet crematorium they were very good also. I know if you are reading this nothing will prepare you for the tsunami of grief that is about to hit you and your family, but Anna understands this. This is more than a review it’s a testimonial about an individual that is at the top of her profession and above all alongside our heart. ♥️🐾♥️thank you Anna from Gary and Monika Hans Derby

I cannot recommend Hallam Vets enough! My rescue whippet, Rupert, has been attending for over 5 years now, and the care and attention he’s received has been consistently outstanding. From general check-ups to dental care, an eye ulcer, a wrist sprain, and his regular flea, worming, and annual injections, they have always gone above and beyond for him. The reception staff are always so welcoming, and the clinic is spotless and well-organised, which immediately puts you at ease. The vets—Sarah, George, Lee, and others—are all so kind and attentive, even though Rupert is incredibly anxious and hates the vets! Special mention to Lee, who is brilliant at adapting to Rupert’s needs by occasionally doing his check-ups on the floor rather than the table which eases his anxiety, keeping him as calm as possible. Katie, one of the support staff, also deserves recognition—she is super lovely, informative, and always so helpful. Her warmth and dedication to her role is evident. There was one occasion when Rupert needed an urgent appointment, and I was amazed that they were able to book him in and see him within just 25 minutes of my call—such incredible service!, I was also tearful at the time as it’s awful to see your animal distressed and in pain and the receptionist was so lovely to me! and reassured me they’d get him sorted and seen asap. The vets are always informative, transparent about pricing, and clearly have a great ethical code, never pushing any sales or things the animal doesn’t need. They also introduced me to a gel for gums for Rupert’s anxiety during fireworks season, which has been a real game-changer for us, even though it’s a bit pricey - it’s worth it! I honestly can’t express enough how much I trust and appreciate Hallam Vets. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication to their patients’ well-being make them exceptional. I would trust them with my fur baby 100%! - and In fact he is booked in this week for Dental under general anaesthetic and I have compete faith and trust they will care for my little whippet beautifully and he will be just fine! Hallam Vets has been a part of our lives for over 15 years, and we couldn’t ask for a more caring and dedicated team. Recently, we had to say goodbye to our beloved Lola, and the compassion and support we received were beyond words. Phil, George, Hannah, and the entire team were there for us every step of the way, giving Lola the best possible care and guiding us through an incredibly difficult time with empathy and kindness. Even in the hardest moments, they ensured we never felt alone in making the right decisions for her. We’ll always be grateful for their incredible care, not just in this tough time but throughout the many years we’ve been with them. Highly recommended Lee, he was reliable and very informative. I had an extension and wasn’t sure where to have plugs etc and he guided me through the whole process. Very clean and did an amazing job. I won’t use anyone else as he was very trustworthy and did a fantastic job, even when I changed my mind on what I wanted. Thank you Lee and definitely need more done in the future

Lee installed the upgraded power supply we needed for our EV charger. Not a simple job; involved liaising with the company who were fitting the charger, as well as finding a route for the cable up our steep garden. Thorough, impeccably neat, and conscientious. Definitely recommend.

Lee did a brilliant job completely rewiring our old cottage when we renovated in 2022. Really professional & reliable, responded promptly any time we needed to contact him, gave us loads of useful advice when we were planning the layout for lights & switches etc and was always on site for whatever days & times we’d agreed, which was really helpful for the overall project management and avoided delays scheduling tasks with our other contractors. Outstanding quality & customer service and we will absolutely be calling Lee next time we need any electrical work doing.

Vet care at home were there when I needed them, they were amazing, so compassionate, caring and kind. They treated my Rex with the respect he deserved, they took their time and allowed him to feel comfortable with them before they began the procedure talking me through each step! They showed me such kindness once Rex was sleeping helping me settle him in his bed and giving me a hug with kind words before leaving! A very difficult job made easier to bear! Thank you lovely ladies from vet care at home, you were amazing!

Absolutely outstanding care! Kind, respectful and compassionate. I was worried that my Bullmastiff would be aggressive but I need not have been. He liked the lady vets very much. My poor old dog had come to the end of the road and the procedure to ensure that he passed peacefully was carried out with such skill and precision that he did not even flinch. The vet sedated him first before he had the final injection. He was completely peaceful and experienced only love and care. Highly recommended. Very reasonably priced.

Darren and his team have done a couple of jobs for me and I have found them to be professional and reliable. One of the jobs was to change a broken electric hob in our holiday cottage which Darren did on a Saturday morning call-out. I would highly recommend Elevate Electrical.

Really impressed with the vets at Hartshorne. At other surgeries my cat is a terror and turns feral. A lion would be better behaved. But at Hartshorne vets they must put a spell on him. He's so calm and relaxed with the staff. I highly recommend this surgery if your cat is troublesome at the vets as they have worked wonders with mine.

Great staff caring and compassionate. Cared for our Yorkshire terrier and made her comfortable and happy for the last 3 years of her life…the knowledge and care is second to non! Geoff came to our home when it was time to let her go, it was an already awful day but made easier by the fact she wasn’t stressed and could fall asleep in in her own home surrounded by love. We are eternally grateful

Mr Matthew woodfield P&C:- Power & Control Ltd PV I've upgraded from an existing 6kw battery to a further 6kw battery to give me a total of 12kw storage for my solar Pv system. From start to finish the whole experience was very pleasant. Dan-thanks for being very thorough on what batteries that I needed for my solar system.They say everyday is a school day and I can honestly say it certainly was the things that I picked up on the conversations we had helped. We then have Jake and again he was very helpful nothing was a problem on coming back with the answers. Then we have the electrician (Ryan) the ambassador of the company 'very smartly dressed' contacted me on the way introducing himself and giving me an eta. His ethics and knowledge workmanship was second to none. All in all price comes into everything and PAC was the company who stood out for helpfulness,compasion,enthusiasm, and professionalism. Had a great service when having my ev charger fitted a few years ago. But for me the quality of a company is shown in their aftercare. While having an issue with my charger i rang up hoping they'd be able to get to me urgently within the coming days… 1 and a half hours later they were knocking at my door! Incredible service. The fault was with the charger and luckily it’s under warranty, so i will not hesitate to use these guys to come and swap it out for the new one.

We brought our high energy dog to Croft vets for a laparoscopic spay as our regular vets don’t offer them. I can’t say enough good things about our experience here, we had lots of information for each step, the follow ups and check ins were great, the whole process was super efficient. All the staff were absolutely lovely, especially with our massive scaredy cat Labrador! It’s been just 3 days since the spay and we’ve been given the all clear to go on walks and more or less return to normality (with a couple of things to still be cautious of). We are happy with our current vet but I am contemplating moving to Croft completely as this whole experience has been so good. Thoroughly recommend!

When you arrive, there's great parking. The reception area has lots of space and bright and airy. Meg's vet is Cat, and she is very sensitive to how she's feeling..as she is with owners. That 3 way relationship is important. She's friendly, professional, and up to date with any new research relevant to Meg's condition. What I really like is that she's down to earth, so very approachable. And..crucially, a good listener. So, the whole experience from meeting the reception staff to the consultation is a good one. An excellent practice. Keep doing what you're doing well. Alys and Meg the collie.

This place is amazing!I've used Bollington Veterinary practice over a few years & they're my first choice when seeking treatment for my pets(I currently have a cat). My cat has underlying health issues & needs regular treatment, visiting the vets once every three weeks or so & he just loves the vet(& I think the feeling is mutual!!).He always receives first class treatment & the vets are so good with him(he's an old boy & can be quite grumpy at times)& they always give him a general check over when I take him in.They're also very good at advising me on his treatment/s & any issues I should look out for regarding his health & listening to any of my concerns,no matter how trivial.Pricewise,they're not cheap but,no vets are & the prices seem around average for the treatment received. On a practical level,there is off road parking with room for quite a few cars & there is wheelchair parking & access should it be required. I would also like to say that ,I have recently turned up a couple of times at the wrong time & missed my appointments.However,the vets have been more than happy to accommodate us &,given that it was my error and not theirs,I really appreciated this. The ladies at reception are always very polite, cheerful and helpful both,in person & on the telephone ,even when the practice is extremely busy ..they never seem flustered,which is nice.Its always helpful to see a friendly face when I'm worried about my beautiful cat(& best friend). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bollington Veterinary Centre to anyone who is looking for the best care for their beloved animal,you won't regret it.There aren't enough stars to give them so 5 will just have to do!

This Awful thing was lying around for are Wonderful, happy-go-lucky, playful little Patterdale to find and get extremely embedded in her tongue, mouth and cheek! We got to Bollington vet centre to be comforted and put at ease as are little puppy was taken care of immediately. We got a call shortly after saying are little Bonnie was OK and hook free. Thank you guys.

We have been taking our dog to Bollington vets since he was a puppy and I can't recommend them highly enough. They always are happy to help. Socialisation sessions with Jess in particular have been amazing, and have really helped to familiarise our dog with the vets so he doesn't get as stressed out when we bring him for treatment. Her compassion and friendliness have helped him so much and I really don't know what we would have done without her!

We’ve been at this vets for around 5 years, have moved out of Sheffield and still come back to use the vets. I’ve experienced a few vets and this is the best one I’ve been to with my pets. The staff are so attentive and friendly and welcoming to all pets, we recently had to put our dog to sleep and they were so lovely and non pressuring regarding payments of services etc, I want to thank all of the staff your all amazing, carry on doing what you do and don’t look anywhere else if your in need of a vets.

Unfortunately we've been here a lot with our 2 cats so seen various vets and nurses. Everyone has been really friendly, knowledgeable and patient (with us and the cats!). For one of our cats with a chronic issue we even got free advice over email rather than stress him out bringing him for an appointment. It's great that they are open later and often have emergency on the day appointments too so it's quite easy to get an appointment that works around life. Reception can get really busy and there can be a wait to be seen at reception or phone call answered at busy times but that's to be expected.

Really good service. Staff is really nice and the vet was approachable, answering every question and reassuring. Saved me on a Saturday when it is difficult to find a clinic opened, and thanks to a last minute appointment. Great experience.
