My son has been attending sessions with Jamie for over a year and has made significant progress in Maths. During this time, he has moved up sets and is now on track to excel in his GCSEs. I would definitely recommend Chellaston tutoring. We are due to start tutoring for our daughter hopefully soon.

We have found Ryan at Chellaston Tutoring to be fantastic, our son has come on leaps and bounds with his English, the tutoring is tailored to the child’s individual needs, Ryan explains everything in a simple & easy to understand way, so much so that after our son’s first lesson he said that he wished all teachers were like that ! My daughter started here after struggling with maths and it was the best decision we have ever made! The support that Katie has given has seen her confidence grow and given her a much deeper understanding of maths where she actually enjoys it now which I never thought would be possible! The flexibility that Chellaston tutoring offers is also something that will become invaluable as she transitions into senior school and may need extra support in other subjects, I couldn’t recommend them enough.

The lessons are targeted to help my daughter focus and built her confidence. She really enjoys the style of teaching and looks forward to her lessons. The tutors are great at building a rapport, which helps with motivation and making the most of the lessons. They always provide a update, giving parents a good insight on progress.

Stephen is an amazing English Tutor who I would highly recommend. My son transferred schools 6 mths into Year 10 with his GCSE’s looming. This caused a few issues with English as the literature books he had already studied were not the same as studied at the new school for his exams. I contacted Stephen to see if he could help, as we were desperate as my son was now very far behind. Stephen was fantastic in his teaching approach, very calm, kind, patient and nurturing and helped my son learn and understand Romeo & Juliet from scratch which was not an easy task. My son passed his English GCSE’s with Stephen’s help and got into the course he wanted at college because of this. I could not recommend Stephen highly enough.

I found Steve to help with my son's writing/spelling/English soon as COVID hit and school's were closing. I definitely didn't want my son falling behind into his senior year's and possibly impacting his GCSEs further down the line. I can't thank Steve enough for all his hard work and patience with my son. A weekly session over nearly three years they worked together on his language and literature. Steve's attitude to the work session and the setting of homework leading onto the next week's session is second to none. Very patient and explaining without over complicating. This year my son passed all his GCSEs. I'm over the moon and very proud. Would highly recommend his service.

Stephen was amazing with our daughter. He was very reliable, calm and adaptable to help her practice the skills she needed, planning from her outcomes at school. At the end of year 10 she achieved a 3 in her mocks (not expected or typical for her) We saw her grow in confidence through receiving his support and we were very proud when she achieved 7s in her final GCSEs. There are no doubts that Stephen is a five star English tutor. He helped our son achieve a grade 7 in his English Language GCSE (2024). He turned around the much lower predicted grade our son received following his Year 10 mocks to what he achieved at the end of Year 11. Our daughter attended Top Marks for various subjects from the age of 10. Having just passed her GCSE Maths and English exams, we are so grateful for the support given to her by the team there. Over and above the individually tailored plans for her subjects, she was helped to develop the confidence she needed to get the grades she was hoping for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Top Marks. I can't recommend Top Marks Tuition enough. I've never struggled to get my 15 year old daughter to go as she enjoys the sessions. Learning on a more one to one basis has been beneficial for her as she struggles to focus at school. Matt and Nicki have been very supportive and offered advice when needed.

My 10-year old son has just begun his second year at TMT, and I am incredibly thankful for all they do! I noticed how confident he has become picking up higher-level tasks, how positively his attitude has changed towards learning and the lovely comments his school teacher has made regarding improved performance. Apart from learning, TMT family have an extremely warm, welcoming and nurturing environment. I simply can't recommend them enough!

I cannot recommend this enough, sue is an excellent teacher and has helped our home-schooled daughter keep up to date with her English and maths leaving us confident that she has as good a chance as any other child her age to go on to do well after leaving school.

An absolutely incredible golf course! Visited for the first time today to watch the LIV Golf event and it was an unbelievable place. The course and the facilities are first class and I was blown away by how well the course is kept and maintained. The atmosphere was also incredible and definitely enhanced the game of golf. Would love the privilege to play a round at JCB Golf & Country Club one day......so if any JCB employees read this review please get in touch! ⛳🏌️

A group of us went here for the LIV event. What a fantastic day, it was easy to park, there was an abundance of shuttle busses to take us to the course & we were welcomed by friendly and enthusiastic members of the team. The course itself looked fantastic & I hope that they host more events in the future.

Fantastic couple of days at the Legends Tour, amazing course and set up. Even better this year 2023 (Apart from the final days wash out weather ☔) - They had mini bus shuttle running also from the car park to course entrance which was brilliant. A1 experience.

Visited the newly opened restaurant and was surprised with what a transformation from what it was before. It was much more atmospheric than before with a more welcoming vibe. Service was fast and attentive and food was excellent especially the wood fired pizza. All in all and excellent evening and will definitely be going back 10 out of 10

I’ve been with The Tutoring Room for the last five years and I can’t imagine my academic journey without them. From the moment I started there in secondary school, they’ve been a massive support in helping me grow and achieve my goals. When we relocated to the UK from South Africa, a friend introduced us to the Tutoring Room. We were needed a place or person that would Tutor our daughter and bring her up to speed seeing that was to start at year 8. The Tutoring Room welcome us like family, tutored my daughter to confidence. We had to stop at a point due to distance but put her right back for her GCSE resit. We play a lot of open competitions a year and two of the Lad's had never played Chevin before so I booked us into an open. The day from start to finish was second to none.We were made to feel extremely welcome by all the staff from the club house to the well stocked Pro shop then a starter that was a credit to the club. We had a top notch breakfast then a round on one of the very best courses we have played this year. Fairways were just like walking on carpet complemented by true greens that posed some issues to work out the line in short a top course. I would very strongly recommend this class golf club.

Fairways at Chevin Golf Club had the most delicious steak pie I have ever had. It had chunky beef pieces covered in thick, rich gravy. This is definitely a place for pie!

Excellent course. Not the longest in the world, but technical with sloped fairways. The technically gifted will have a significant reward. Nice clubhouse with friendly staff.
