I recently had the pleasure of hiring Nick to install an EV charger, update my consumer unit and install a battery system. From start to finish, the service provided by Nick was nothing short of outstanding. Nick delivered high-quality craftsmanship and approached the job with great attention too detail. The installs he carried out was done flawlessly, and I was thoroughly impressed by the calibre of his work. He ensured that the work area was kept clean and organised throughout the entire process. It was refreshing to witness such care and consideration for my property. An excellent job completed by Nick today. Showed up when he said he would, completed the fitting of the home electric car charge point. All compliance paperwork provided. He explained the use of the app. Strongly recommend to anyone needing a home charging point fitting.

Emma and Rebecca were incredibly attentive to our needs throughout the wedding planning process and helped create our perfect vision. The decor looked stunning and the gorgeous grounds provided a beautiful scenery for our day. Our guests, (many of whom had never been to Calke Abbey before) were blown away with the venue. The ladies at Ivy House were superb. They took care of every detail and went out of their away to ensure everything was perfect for us. They went above and beyond making sure every detail was covered. With the beautiful location, extremely professional, thorough and helpful wedding planners and charming décor, it was simply a perfect day! We are so grateful to the Ivy House Ladies for making our Wedding Day everything we could have wished for.

Wow what a duo! Emma and Rebecca were incredible from start to finish! We couldn’t have wished for better co-ordinators! They made us feel super relaxed right from our initial chat and that anything was possible when making decisions on our big day! The day was absolutely faultless which was all credit to E&R! Even our guests commented on what genuinely lovely people they are! We’ll really miss wedding planning with them now it’s all done, but will take away such special memories thanks to them.

If you want a stress free, beautiful wedding or event I can not recommend Emma and Rebecca enough! They are the most lovely ladies who are there to support from the first viewing to kicking you out at the end of the night. The thought of planning a wedding whilst living abroad was a scary prospect but thanks to Ivy House it was a wonderful experience. Our day was absolutely perfect and we wouldn't change a thing, even down to the tiny details it was our dream wedding. Thank you so much to you both!

I have absolutely no idea how we would have coped without Rebecca and Emma from Ivy House Weddings when it came to planning our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for better support to help create the most perfect day, and the attention to detail from the planning stages right through to the last dance on the day was amazing to ensure that everything ran smoothly - we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rebecca and Emma to anyone getting married. Don’t do it alone - they will look after you so well and you won’t regret it!

Where do I start?! Emma and the team were absolutely amazing from beginning to end! Emma could make sense of my rather vague descriptions of how I wanted things, the vision seemed clear in my head but it proved difficult trying to explain it. She knew exactly what to do to bring it to life and nothing was too much trouble. On the day she never stopped - she’s the extra bridesmaid/ best friend doing everything she could to help us and keeping us calm, the on the day coordinator seamlessly organising the supplier arrivals, personal chauffeur when we needed to move our car and slightly crazy looking lady running through the gardens so Chris would have a natural smile for the photos!! The dedication was another level! With me being rather OCD I didn’t know if I would be able to step back and enjoy the day fully without worrying about things but from the day before when we took all our things to set up I completely relaxed knowing everything was under control. Emma’s family were the perfect team and they couldn’t do enough for us but at the same time they felt like friends as they are so lovely and chilled. The day went so perfectly and we cannot thank Emma enough for her huge part in this. The only disappointment is that we can’t do the day all over again!!

Excellent service and installation, we will be using them again.

I went to Erika’s Beauty for my eyebrows and am really happy with the process and result! Erika was fantastic! She was so welcoming and very informative in how she explained the process for getting my eyebrows done with micropigmentation. Erika is very professional and an expert in her craft, and I highly recommend her! I’m looking forwarding to going back for the touch up and to see final results but am 100% confident in them already. Plus her salon is such a great place to be and the staff there are so lovely!

I would highly recommend Erika’s Beauty. Zoe is amazing and works magic with my hair! She takes the time to listen to what I want, offers professional advice and always takes time and care with my highlighted hair. Erika offers excellent and professional skin care advice. As someone who was nervous about having some treatments I was very quickly reassured by Erika’s knowledge and expertise. Adelina does a fantastic job of my lash extensions, her attention to detail is amazing. She always goes above and beyond to get the look I hope to achieve. I have been attending the salon for a few years now and I receive a first class service every time. If you’re thinking about visiting the salon you won’t be disappointed!

I first visited Erika at her old salon in 2019 to have my eyebrows micro bladed and also powder brow mixed which have lasted over 5 years. I visited Erika again last week in December 2024 to get a touch up of powder brow and slight micro blading and I couldn't be happier. She is extremely talented and makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable in her beautiful salon. The aftercare was explained very well and I have received many lovely comments since having them done. I will certainly visit again in the future for more treatments and my eyebrows done again.

Ben did a brilliant job for us repairing our leaking gutters which had been poorly installed. He was also incredibly helpful offering advice for other issues we had with the house. I wouldn't hesitate in using Benvale again or recommending to friends and family.

I was very nervous about finding somebody to help with a multitude of jobs which would normally require several tradesmen as there is lots of people that claim they can do everything, but doing it to a good standard is another. I can honestly say it was a pleasure having Ben here, he was not only a pleasure to have round, he was extremely tidy, very fairly priced - the hourly charges generally work in the favour of the customer as he doesnt stop, he had stripped some very old lining paper off for us which was not the easiest but he was patient to get it all off without damaging the walls underneath, he also ensured he put the room back together to enable us to use the room until the plasterer arrives. We will definitely be having Ben back round again.

Ben recently completed several jobs around the house for me (ranging from installing a new dishwasher to repairing an old wooden window frame, grouting the hearth tiles to repairing a kitchen cabinet door). I found Ben to be professional and friendly, organised and neat and tidy in his approach to the work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ben (as indeed, I already have) and look forward to welcoming him back again in the future as my new ‘go to’ handy person. A well deserved 5 star rating !

I would highly recommend Benvale Home Maintenance - Ben was happy to tackle a variety of issues in our house including fitting a dishwasher, a complicated problem with fitting a cooker hood, putting up blinds and basically anything else we asked him to help with. No job is too much for him he just gets on with sorting everything and I wouldn't hesitate to book him again.

I contacted Josh from a local magazine initially to put a new light in and then to have all my light switches replaced. Josh has been professional, polite, on time and respectful on both visits. Really impressed with Josh. I arranged to get a quote for a new consumer unit and he turned up on time to do this and it was sent quickly. Once I approved the quote which was very reasonable he spend most of the day installing it. He worked in a tidy manner and also put on overshoes when going about the house to test sockets and switches. He also managed to sort out a couple of additional issues for a small charge. Overall very impressed with his work and would not hesitate to use him again for any future electrical work

Josh was recommended to us by a local estate agent as we needed an electricity safety check to be completed. He identified many issues, kept us informed whilst performing the check and explained what was required in order to obtain certification. Took my daughter for her first time at an actual hairdressers. The staff were all superb and did a great job of keeping her occupied as they cut her hair. She was a right chatterbox and nobody minded one bit, really engaging with her. Fantastic experience, her hair looked great the end, and highly recommended.
