After Central Roofing replaced my storm-damaged summerhouse roof at short notice, I took them on to carry out a long-delayed roof refurbishment on my house and garage. This involved replacing and securing ridge tiles, fitting a dry verge to all gable ends, and replacing/reseating cracked and slipped tiles, along with repointing. Despite the complex roof layout, they did a marvellous job in just three days. Their staff were always pleasant and helpful, and everyone arrived when they said they would. The site was left clean and tidy. I can thoroughly recommend them for any roofing work.

Central roofing came to my rescue when some of my ridge tiles had fallen off the roof, despite being busy they managed to squeeze me in to sort it out. Very professional and polite. Would definitely recommend them.

Had a new garage door delivered and installed on 10/01/2025. Turned up earlier than 0800hrs, and started work promptly, Took down existing door and fitted new door by 0930hrs. Showed me how new door opened and was locked, and if I was satisfied with their work.. I was very pleased with my new door and how clean the job was. We had a really good team replacing our old dilapidated garage with a new Penta roofed Compton model, with metal roof lined so it didn't drip in cold weather. Work was carried out professinally and speedily. We are really pleased with the garage and its quality, also the price was exceptionally reasonable. Just to add that because the garage was on a raised plinth the garage has never had flooding issues, a problem for many in this area with steep down sloping driveways from the road level. Great experience getting our new garage roof installed this August. From start to finish exceeded expectations from enquiry, to quote, order process, delivery and installation. Actually restored my faith in a business actually delivering great customer service, even pre delivery calls to ensure all ok. Very happy with the job, material, installers etc and absolutely no hesitation in recommending Comptons to anyone.

Most excellent services, definitely a service with a smile, does an absolutely amazing hair cut, very friendly environment. Most of the time I don't like going to the hair dresses as they make you feel uncomfortable, but not at the second image hair salon, she make you feel welcome and comfortable to be there. We moved to Derbyshire in the summer and contacted Safehands Construction for a quote to build a new extension to our house. Marcus responded quickly and provided us with a detailed quote for two new bedrooms and bathroom. The quote set out all works with a clear time frame. We were offered good advice at the planning stage by Marcus. We decided to use Marcus and his team. They carried out the work exactly as quoted and they kept us fully involved throughout the process. We asked Marcus to do some extra work, which was carried out efficiently and without fuss. The building team were excellent throughout. They used quality materials throughout the build and they explained each stage of the project. Marcus and his team spoke to us regularly and they ensured we were happy with progress of the build, design and construction. We enjoyed working with the team and more importantly we trusted their advice and opinions. The finished build is of excellent standard throughout. The team did a great job in matching stone work, Windows and final fixings. The quality of work has resulted in a top class finish to our house. We would recommend Marcus and his team without hesitation. When you employ a build team you want to feel they are knowledgable and honest. We would say that Marcus and his team knew the best ways of achieving our goals, whilst ensuring everything was within budget. We moved into our new build in the November of 2019, just as the build team promised. We would recommend Marcus as he will not compromise on the quality, keeps to deadlines and he is friendly and honest throughout.

I recently had an orangery built by Safehands construction,and I am absolutely delighted with it. The proprietor,Marcus Longsdale,was extremely helpful, courteous ,and nothing was to much trouble for him.His team were conscientious,and hardworking. On completion ,the site was left clean and tidy.

You will struggle to find a lash tech who is as professional as Gemma! Availability is great and if there are any issues then they’re dealt with easily. The whole salon has a lovely atmosphere, everyone is approachable and you’ll leave feeling fabulous. Highly recommend!

Gem is just the best. I have just had had luxury derma-planing followed by a back neck and shoulder massage. She is just so professional, makes you feel so relaxed and is just so good at all her treatments. I Would definitely recommend her, came out feeling really pampered and relaxed. Such a beautiful salon with such a lovely atmosphere. All the girls are fabulous.

I love going to Aurora Beauty studio, all the girls are friendly and excellent at what they do. I’ve had lashes, nails, microblading and waxing and never had a bad experience. The studio is gorgeous and has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Gemma and Becka are the loveliest people and will make you feel at ease with whatever treatment you choose, and I’ve got to mention Stanley, the resident Dachshund, take a treat and he’ll reward you with cuddles. I would totally recommend Aurora Beauty Studio.

I have been coming to Gemma and the team since the salon opened over a year ago. All the girls are so lovely, friendly and professional. There is just a beautiful vibe in there and you feel so welcome. They've became more than just somewhere I get my nails done, they've become so much more and I wish nothing but success for Gemma and all the team. Beka is my usual gal for treatment and she is an absolute joy and cares so much about getting everything perfect for you. Could not recommend anymore ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I received a voucher for the prosecco breakfast and not sure why it took me so long to use it! I checked the menu ahead of time and saw how generous this particular menu choice was. We booked it at lunch time to account for this and still took the final course 'to-go'. Plenty of delicious food and choices. The atmosphere is just right and we were tucked away nicely at the back. The gentleman who served us throughout the meal was attentive and friendly. Lovely place, great food, and superb staff.

Our first visit and given as a recommendation from a friend who lives in the area. First impressions on arrival were positive and we loved the location and building. Interior of the gift shop, welcome and staff was excellent very friendly. We had prebooked and was able to be seated a little earlier without any issues. Browsing the menu , ordering our drinks was easy and they were well prepared and presented. My daughter loved the Hippo Milk Shake, the lattee was really good. The food 👍 The Appletree breakfast plate was really tasty all round and a good portion. The Breakfast Burrito very well presented, all round very tasty. The Breakfast Crumble - A good healthy option. Thank you to the friendly staff and management. We will be back !

Very pleasant, helpful staff despite it being an extremely busy lunchtime. Staff were all very helpful, patient and welcoming. As expected, there was no room indoors (need to book this well in advance), so we chanced upon sitting in the barn, but when we arrived, all 6 tables were full. Sat outside, cold wind despite the lovely sunshine and soon became chilled. Eventually we took our coffees into the barn once there was space; it felt fresh next to the large, open gates, but an improvement from outdoors. Good food selection and I ordered the all-day breakfast, my husband their quiche. Breakfast duly arrived but sausage, bacon and gash brown had clearly been kept warm for some time and were rather dry and spoilt. Poached eggs were only just warm, but tasty as were the lovely mushrooms. The baked beans were the only hot item on my plate. Lovely peashoots with two fresh cherry tomatoes of which two were warmish and grilled. Husband's individual quiche was warm and very tasty, served with a good potion of delicious mixed salad, consisting of baby leaves. Pea shoots, fresh raspberries, cranberries and blueberries too! We finished with a tasty piece of home-baked style layer cake each and the most amazing mug of hot chocolate. Presentation throughout was delightful.

I had the most amazing experience with Anna at All about you! My hair was really damaged by a previous bleaching incident at another salon and she spent ages listening to me, everything I had done since and then developed a plan with me to help my hair repair and in months to come, start having colour again. I've never felt so listened to, and I've also never had such faith in a stylist! Anna really knew what she was talking about and made me feel so comfortable and knew how nervous I was about going to a salon again. My hair felt and looked amazing when I left and most importantly I built a new trusting relationship with a very talented stylist. I can't wait to go back!

What a fabulous and friendly hair and beauty salon. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff; talented, kind and helpful. The salon owner, Helen, makes me feel a million dollars with her superb colour, cutting and blow drying techniques. She's superskilled and super lovely. Highly recommend!

Absolutely recommend Josh and we haven't even had the work carried out as yet but we’re more than confident it will be spot on. Communication was outstanding, Josh turned up when he said he would and it was on a Sunday!!! Very polite and professional. He found the problem and is going to sort it. I will only be recommending JGR roofing from now on to my friends, family & clients as so many tradesman can't even answer the phone let alone turn up when promised. Josh completed a complete reroof of our grade 2 listed property. All done with welsh slate and new leadwork. A joy to see a real craftsman at work. We are extremely pleased with the job and would highly recommend Josh and his team.

Josh was the only roofer that got in touch to give me a quote for storm damage to my roof. As soon as I contacted him to say the job was his he arranged the scaffolders they was there very quickly. Josh then turned up the following morning to do the job, the work was completed that day. I would highly recommend Josh and I he will be my first call if I have anymore issues with my roof.

Went to try this hair salon with high hopes but was left underwhelmed. Loved the friendly customer service from the moment I first walked in and the nice touch of being offered sparkling water while waiting for my stylist. The stylist was very friendly too and good at understanding and being able to execute the desired result I wanted. However the reason why I only gave 4 stars and not 5, is it felt like I was being squeezed into a tight time slot and the service felt a bit rushed, and a bit lacking. I was not offered to have my hair styled at the end, which I’ve grown to expect from many other stylists of a similar price point as a complimentary part of the service. The stylist who did my hair dried it in a way that didn’t feel like a professional technique, just wafting the hair dryer around, not using a brush, so I didn’t even get the volume from a nice professionally done blow dry. Left with hair that just fell flat rather than having that special “fresh from the hair salon” feeling. In my opinion when you’re paying for a professional to do your hair, you would want to walk out having it look a bit better than any other day. If anything I feel like I have a better hair drying technique at home. For this reason, I doubt I would go back.

As a visitor to the UK I had been struggling to find somewhere to get my hair cut and coloured. But from the moment I walked into the salon Ashley and the staff made me so welcome and they were determined to fit me in somewhere during my stay in the area. Megan has done a wonderful colour and cut that even my husband commented!! Ashley also called me back as a cancellation came in so I could also get my brows done. You are all team amazing, all of you so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much, all of you. Would 110% recommend this salon.

What a team !!! Moved to Matlock a few months ago and needed a fabulous hairdressers . O wow was I lucky when I found Aspire !! Ashley is so welcoming. Gracie is amazing and has worked magic on my hair . Always wanted low lights but afraid it would be half way hell . O no definitely not in Gracie’s magical hands 🤩 so glad I found this beautiful warm amazing creative team . Can’t recommend them enough .
