Our first visit to Nowrooz and we grabbed a couple of chicken tikka kebabs and shawarma loaded chips.
After we had placed our order we were offered their delicious Neesk (lentil soup) while we waited which was lovely. Such a welcoming gesture which is inherent in the islamic way of life and a tradition I love.
While we waited some young boys came in with a limited amount of money to buy food. The guys serving were incredibly patient and helped the boys decide what would fit their budget. This was just super cute.
The guys serving were so welcoming and polite and made us feel like family. I felt so at ease and can’t wait to go back with my friends and family next time.
The food was delicious. We paid £32 for the three dishes and there was enough for 6 people to enjoy. The best part is that, without me even asking, they packed all the food elements up in separate tubs to take home so that the food wouldn’t end up soggy by the time we got back. The naan were soft, fresh and light.
If you fancy a decent, healthy, freshly prepared kebab for your Friday night indulge then pop down to Nowrooz. There is good variety to choose from so there’s sure to be the perfect kebab waiting for you.
We will definitely be back.
The mixed grill was delicious. I’d get it again. I got a blue mojito it was very sour and not as sweet. But still good i finished everything. The staff are all so kind and the lentil soup was delicious as well. I would definitely come back.

It’s the second time I took my kids there. They love this place and so do I. Food is spot on. The menu looks so good and we want to try different things next time. But the shawarma, pizza and kebabs which we have tried so far is very tasty
We visited for the first time for lunch, having heard a few good things about this restaurant. It's fair to say we were not disappointed!
The lentil soup starter was a a firm 10/10 and the two main dishes that were ordered (chicken kebab and mixed shawarma were fresh and really tasty.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.
