Highly recommend SLK. Chris really knows his stuff. Offers helpful advice and tells you what’s best for the job. I’ve used him on several projects over the last 10 years ranging from a full conversion of a flat garage roof to a pitch with tiles, rubber roof on my summerhouse, to a mineral roof of my shed. He will always be my go to for anything roofing. Always arrives when arranged and does the job to the price, which makes my life nice and easy.
It's not often these days to have your expectations exceeded, but I did with SLK Roofing. I had SLK carry out remedial work to our roof, hanging tiles and fascia/guttering. From quote to completion SLK have been brilliant. With their pride in workmanship reflecting on their attention to detail. I would have no qualms whatsoever in recommending them. Well done again Chris and Steve for your excellent work, your efforts are very much appreciated.
We have used SLK Roofing on 3 occasions now - fascias, soffits and guttering; replacement of roof felt on an extension; and replacement of lead apron flashings (photo attached of the ‘after’).On each occasion the work has been carried out to a very high professional standard at a very competitive price. Chris is always very courteous and takes time to explain exactly what needs to be done, and leaves the area very clean and tidy. I’ve no hesitation in recommending SLK Roofing.
Chris Vincent, the owner of SLK Roofing, replaced the flat roof of our house extension together with his wife in October 2024. The previous roof was about 35 years old and had developed a leak. We waited 6 weeks before writing this review to ensure all was well and the leak had gone (fingers crossed. We are very satisfied with the professional work, the materials used, the care taken with our property and a very pleasant husband & wife working team! We can wholeheartedly recommend SLK Roofing for any similar work.
SLK Chris and team done a fantastic job replacing new baton felt tiles also including a new velux roof window. Chris gave me a good quote for the work to be done. Chris and team were respectful of my property leaving it tidy every day. A few months later I had Chris replace the felt on my flat roof, I have solar panels on there which were removed carefully and frame work, they were replaced with equal care once the felt was replaced. My rooves look great and weather proof. Many Thanks SLK hope you enjoyed the bacon toasties : )
