Definitely recommend, 🌻 Ukrainian Sunflower , The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The staff is friendly, and the service is top-notch. It's a hidden gem that everyone should visit. Highly recommended for a taste of Ukraine!

A good place to eat Ukrainian food. Nice place. Good service. Tasty food. I recommend trying the liqueurs. We bought frozen vareniki to take home. Tasty. Good dough. Unfortunately it is far from me. But if I pass by, I will definitely come again.

Absolutely wonderful food. I had the benefit of visiting with someone from Ukraine, so I get immediate recommendations as to what is best to try - I was absolutely blown away by how good the food is. I don't have any specific recommendations, purely because everything was great. I definitely intend to visit again.

Toilets were clean,fresh, with music and hand driers from the 70's but they were highly polished. Would eat here again, nice atmosphere, small car park. Revisited, and pleased to report, food was excellent, atmosphere was quiet, parking was easy, toilets still up to mark, outside garden areas smart tidy and pleasing to look at before you enter pub. Polite staff, no Pepsi refills. I can put up with that, only moan would be it was quiet poorly lit , would be nice to see your food as you eat it. Will visit again soon. Standby for an update. Revisited, and all is good, chairs are dirty appearance, carpet typical pub chain pattern, food good, drinks cold, all the lights were on and not too busy so plenty of tables to chose from, ie. Window seats, easy to park, friendly staff.Also veteran's remembrance flag reminder to donate if you can. Recommend drink and food stop.

went in for my mom's birthday tonight and the service was amazing. Zoe and Daniel were so welcoming as well as another lady on the bar but didn't get her name.. Joe the Chef cooked our steaks to perfection, I couldn't fault it. all around a lovely experience

Table service was excellent. The staff were very helpful. I would have given 5 stars but my meal wasn't very hot and it had the wrong topping.. it should have been crispy onion and I was given jalapenos... But he room was busy and I am sure the kitchen was buzzing...

Staff are fantastic cannot do enough. Manager Zoe is fantastic and such a pleasant person. No matter 2hat time of day you arrive everyone is such a pleasure to deal with and always find time for a chat

Me and my partner went yesterday evening (saturday) and it was lovely, the bar area is lovely furnished with comfy lounge sofas and have fresh olives and nuts available whilst you look through the menu and wait to be seated. Server also provides you with a drink from the bar if you want one whilst you wait. The dining area was clean and tidy and our server (leanne) was lovely and made sure we were happy with our meals. We didn't have to wait long for food between starters and mains and we had the fish and lobster specials which we're really tasty. I've been a few times over the years but it was partners first visit and he'd Definately go again.

Just had a 3 course meal with the wife and newborn in tow. We were seated in an ideal space, as we had a pram with us. The staff were attentive and very pleasant. The starter, main and desert were all absolutely delicious. You can tell the ingredients are well sourced, with the portion sizes being more than generous with superb presentation. In the current climate, I'd say the pricing is more than reasonable for what you get. In my opinion, it is easily the best restaurant in the area.

Dined here for my nans 80th birthday. We’ve ate here quite a few times and never had a bad meal/service. I had the popcorn chicken for starters, steak for main and blueberry cheesecake for dessert. I can’t tell you how nice this was 😍 The restaurant is traditional, but so welcoming. Service was efficient and quick and all dishes served with 10/10! 👏🏻 Unfortunately we heard the sad news that the restaurant is closing down. Thank you for your hospitality over the last 20+ years!

Quite some years since I was last here before my revisit this most recent weekend. Truly a refreshing lift to the Cagney's bar with new, up and running management team, without losing it's old touches. (I believe it has a family-run like appeal, or a great team!) With a huge interior and exterior, you're never lost for seating, with many booths, tables, spacious toilet entrance room and 2 double doors on arrival, makes it more accessible I believe. This place is super ideal for hosting a party. They play Football games on the TV in an open dome-walkway entrance into a room right next to the bar, great watch and atmosphere. Service is incredibly attentive and welcoming, and it's shows consistently throughout the service around the entire pub/restaurant. They offer quite the selection in food Cuisine, there is a bite for everyone, meat and plenty of veg options. From small bites to more filling dishes, prices are great averaging £10 and under for sides/main dishes etc. You can smell the attracting aroma of fresh, cooked, seasoned food cascading gently from the kitchen or when someone orders, and it looks the part too! It's a fantastic stop for family, friends, parties, all the works. Can't wait to stop by again! 19/03/2023: Came here again for my weekly football visit, mother day special of a free cocktail was enjoyed by the family members. Ordered Plain Chips, Chilli Chips and Peri Peri Wings, which came with a side salad and a fresh side of poppadoms with dips. All were incredible, fresh and flavourful. The wings were fantastic, and both chips are lovely and comforting. Enjoyed every bite and I still can't wait to enjoy even more of what they have to offer. Always a great time and friendly service, consistent and recommend. Thank you.

Had a wonderful night, food was advised a wait but came out quicker and was amazing ⭐️ team behind the bar and the servers were excellent, remembered our drinks orders all evening and helped with a gluten and onion allergy. Thanks for an amazing evening 💚

Authentic hidden gem , I have been back twice and even recommended to friends. Real flavours and spice not diluted. The cocktails are amazing , nice vibes perfect for having a fun night out as they offer bottomless brunches also or a birthday gathering. 10/10

I have heard good things about this restaurant and it did in fact live up to the hype. It is a local business and is clearly popular with both dine in and orders. I went on a Sunday with a group of 5 adults and 4 children. I enjoyed the starter which was the ackee cup, it is not often you can get ackee without the saltfish, but I did here and it was great. I like saltfish but some times it's nice without it. I shared a platter for the mains with jerk chicken, jerk wings, lamb chops, jerk prawns and some sides. The food was tasty, very saucy.. My only gripe was that the lamb chops were tiny. I was initially going to order lamb chops, I am glad I didn't because if they were that tiny by themselves I would have been very sad. However, the prawns were massive and extremely tasty I could have eaten a whole bowl of just those. They were the best thing on the platter. I also ordered some Mac and cheese bites, dumplings and plantain. All of which were great... The Mac and cheese bites were really good and the dumplings were big, crispy on the outside soft and fluffy in the middle. The mocktails were mediocre.. I had a tropical mojito. The pricing was decent, on average about £20- £30 per person. Unfortunately the service was a bit slow however this was due to only one staff member on what was a busy night. However she held it down and kept her composure and did the best she could. We still ate. They have vegetarian options. I would definitely reccomended visiting here, I will be going back just for the prawns alone. I think expansion might be on the table.

Booked in over messenger at the last minute and we asked if around 5pm was available for food, even placed an order for 2 x ribeye . Arrived at the restaurant and was greeted by a friendly member of staff. Waited around 30min for food to arrive on wooden platter trays , nicely presented. The ribeye Steak was cooked to perfection and was a beautiful piece of meat , 1x med well ,1x med, just perfect. Overall restaurant was clean , staff were pleasant and the food was excellent . We went for a meal with another couple, the food was great. Steaks were cooked exactly the way we ordered them. Friendly atmosphere and a nice pint. We're definitely going to try one of their Sunday dinners soon. Update, 20th July 24. New menu items. Very well cooked and very tasty... sizzle platters, I had tandoori chicken with the spice buffalo sauce 😋

We both had the sizzling griddled chicken. When we choose the same it's always a consideration that it will be a double flop if anything is wrong but not in this instance, it was a double whammy... It was superb, and being cooked on its individual cast iron skillet it stayed hot to the very last bite which is always a bonus for the both of us too as we like our food hot. Delicious and tasty, it was our first time in The Myvod (we'd been bought a dining out gift card and we could use it here) but we'll definitely return even without a card. Full compliments to the chef, I did knock the window of the kitchen door to tell them myself but they were busy cleaning which is also a great sign 👏🏆

Nice clean pub with welcoming staff and atmosphere. Great food at amazing prices. Definitely would recommend trying if you’re in the area. Perfect for those midweek evenings where you want to eat out and not break the bank.

Took the wife out. Great food, staff are polite and helpful. Drinks were good. Food was 10/10 thank you desserts are decent too, definitely go back.
