Popped in for a pint on the way back home. The bar area is really cosy and has a nice feel to it. The bar staff were very welcoming and helpful. There’s a car park to the rear and also a free car park opposite the front of the pub. Nice selection of drinks available and it also has a very peaceful outdoor area to the rear of the pub. Drinks prices seem to be average for the area.

Second time here with 6 year gap. The pub itself is lovely and it's hosts are a credit to their proffession. Mike really helpful . The bed really comfy and nice bedding and very clean. The room itself quite basic. The secondary glazing didnt close but street not busy after 8.30pm ish so not a big problem but room cold and couldn't get radiator any warmer. We ran hot water for 10 mins but still cool. No heating in bathroom so didnt shower with that and no hot water.. The main problem was the water outlet pipe is in bedroom and made noise literally al, night like it was filling up something or someone having a shower so not a great nights sleep.. We got a deal with booking.com so didnt pay a lot but wouuldnt of wanted to pay any more than we did for this particular room as not the same standard as last one we had when paid more. Having said all that it is a lovely place you get free parking right outside

We came in for a meal on 2 consecutive nights and had a fabulous meal on both occasions. The servings were large and the food was very tasty - exactly what a pub should be. You don't be disappointed

What a warm welcome we got from the landlord when we went for a meal here. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. A lovely village pub.

Wow!!! room is lovely and bathroom is massive with shower and bath.... huuuuge comfy bed. staff are welcoming friendly and nothing is too much trouble...FANTASTIC ☆☆☆☆☆
