We've just had some great food (big portions) absolutely lovely, staff are very welcoming... However, I would avoid taking children or your grandparents lol, as the foul language from the locals in the main room was discusting ... I actually thought the bar manager would have said something, but didn't. It's more of a drinkers pub, with lots of locals, and I think thats Why. We will go back... but adults only.

Fish n chips were lovely jubbly spinach dip for you and I live with my sister I can get it from the low market and the other one kinda has a pic of your name is it a 7 or a football match for you

We were recommended this place to us We looked up the menu and noticed they had quite a few options for gluten free so we decided to try it. Greeted with a smile by the waitress as we went to the bar. Didn't have to wait long to order. The food came out piping hot and my husband and I were amazed by the size of the pie and fish. The waitress told us that it was all homemade and it was amazing . It was so nice to be able to have gluten free haddock and it was not at all greasy. I tried to finish it but struggled We would highly recommend trying this quaint pub which is clean and lovely decorated. If we stay this way again we will definitely be coming back. So wanted to try the puddings but just didn't have any room.

Absolutely love this place! We had our son's christening party here 3 years ago and make sure we come back each year as a treat (we now don't live in the area) and every time the staff are and owners are fantastic. The food is excellent too, the chef knows what they are doing (I had a steak and it came exactly as I ordered it,so they know their medium rare from their medium!) The menu is well priced and offers fantastic portion sizes. They have a good range of traditional menu items with some non traditional options too, if you fancy something different. Overall never had a bad experience here and it's nice to see the managers so active and chatting with everyone, making everyone feel local.

Stopped for a late lunch. We had steak pie and mashed potatoes, and fish n chips. Freshly cooked food. The batter on the fish was the best I've had, thin, light and crispy. A friendly welcome from the young man behind the bar.

The food was made to order, 10 minutes wait and it was worth it. Large Fish and a good helping of chips and I ordered a small bag and it fed two adults. Will call again when I'm down this way

"Had the fish and chips here, and it was fantastic! The fish was crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside, and the chips were golden and perfectly seasoned. Everything tasted fresh, and the portion size was generous. Definitely a great spot for classic fish and chips!"

George ate some wood today cuz he blew up the restaurant cuz he was looking for some chippy but I couldn't tell him that there was no chippy otherwise he would've blown up the entire village anyways George is allergic to wood so he was passed out in the middle of the street cuz of the impact from the explosion Susan went flying and landed on someone's car that car is now a pancake. Sorry bud 😁

Lovely polite people, the food is cooked fresh so you expect a wait but it's fast, fresh, hot (even after driving 6miles home with it) and it's the best, the only Chinese food we order from

Our first visit to Dragon House. We had the beef curry and it was lovely. Soft, juicy beef in a tasty curry that was flavoursome rather than hot. Would recommend and will definitely return.

This place is simply the best. Highly recommended. Service is topnotch. Food is tasty. They walk around asking customers if they are okay. I needed more chips and they gave me free on the house 🤣🤣 I wasn't expecting it, but yeah, they gladly did that. The services make you feel like you're eating at home. The atmosphere is very comfortable, relaxing and cozy.

Very very busy Sunday lunch time. We were told 20 min wait for food. Bang on 20 mins our 3 different meals were served at the same time. The food was delicious & hot. The servers were very pleasant

Food is always delicious, staff are friendly and food is ready quickly. Don't live nearby anymore but still get this everytime I come home to visit :)
