Excellent golf course and facilities. As well as a very good pro shop and team of professionals. Who are all really helpful and offer a great service at a reasonable price.

Lovely course, great weather, greens sadly not at their best, good test for any standard of golf. Will definitely be back.

Well maintained course, despite drought conditions. Greens are consistent as with the fairways. Some tough holes as to be expected. Staff on course and the 19th are really approachable.

Two great golf courses, both with very different layouts (which makes it ideal and challenging for a Golf Society 36 hole day) Every green was in perfect condition, as were the fairways, my only very slight niggle is a lack of sand in green side bunkers on the Lakes course (particularly when you're faced with a green that slopes towards the water 😂) All the staff are helpful, friendly and polite, and I love the idea of having Bar 19 underneath the main Clubhouse, acting as a good little stop before, during or after a round, for the essentials like bacon baps and coffee!

Had an iron fitting and played the lakes course. 10/10 fitting experience, very detailed and interesting. Great course in top condition. Good clubhouse. Only thing to let it down slightly is the range.

I didn't stay here, we were there for a function. The food and service were excellent, the location was lovely, plenty car parking and no complaints at all.

Me and my family have just returned from a midweek break at Messingham Lakes. The place is really lovely, and the staff could not do enough to make the whole stay as enjoyable as possible. Leigh the manager could not have made us feel anymore welcome, always saying hello and asking about our stay. The lodges are amazing, and presented at a high spec. The whole venue is going through a massive upgrade, with a new restaurant, more lodges, as well as more events to be going off through the day as they expand. Really exciting times, I am looking forward to returning and seeing the renovations in the summer. Thanks to everyone at Messingham Lakes.

We stayed in the chalets. The chalet was well equipped and our weather was lovely. We visited the club house for drinks.

Amazing course, and all the staff are very helpful and accommodating. The green keepers respect the golfers even when working on the fairways or greens. This is the only course I've contemplated joining as I like to play different courses each week.....

Good layout enjoy throughout the game wasn’t disappointed

As a member I am probably bias, but as a municipal course it is very well maintained. The course offers a great variety of challenging holes with a great test for golfers of all abilities. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

pleased to see the mats on the driving range have been replaced. good value for money. daughter is a member at holme hall golf club - this is good for practising both driver shots as well as target practice with irons. attached 9 holes course not bad for practice either.

Lovely setting fantastic staff

Just had our daughter and son in laws wedding there couldn't of wished for a better venue the room was set up just as my daughter had asked nothing was to much trouble. The staff were first class nothing was to much to ask .We stopped for two nights in the lodges they were clean and very spacious. The food that was served on the day was very good. I would highly recommend this venue to anybody who has a special occasion to celebrate. Once again thanks to all involved.

Outstanding club, fantastic greens, surely some of the best in the country.

More of a 4.5, but just a couple of minor let downs. Firstly, it was about -1, so naturally the course was a bit frosty in places, but for £30 you won't get better value for a winter round of golf. We played the Forest/Pines layout, and every hole was different and presented different challenges. It is a well thought out lay out, where anything wayward will get punished, but not to the point of not feeling like you can get yourself out of a tight spot. The few let downs were - Some tee boxes were in play, others were off winter mats that were the size of doormats, and they were horrendously slippy (a mixture of the cold weather, but they were all well worn too). Every pin was right at the front edge of every green - Again, it's winter on a very good golf course so naturally you expect the greens to be protected, but it just meant you were putting through a very trodden area each time, and for the better golfers out there, there was no real reward for finding the centre of a green, or flighting a shot over the hazards etc. The Pines Bar was a nice spot, but there was no indication if food was available, other than empty plates that had been left on 4 or 5 tables , and there wasn't a menu for food in sight. Overall, it's the middle of winter, so you're never going to see or play a course at it's true stature, so we will return in the Spring and see what it's like, but certainly worth the money at this time of year

Went with my sister we had a brilliant time, lady on reception was lovely nicest reception lady I have ever had in a hotel and I've been in a few. Nice walk round golf course, nice spa lots more seating round the pool this time. I'm glad they didn't have the ice machine in the spa as the last time we went, kids were eating it not good when customers use it on there bodys. Restaurant after walk round golf course was very nice after for coffee ☕️ our room was amazing cannot fault any thing in the hotel. Outside was lovely too, only one thing could have looked better is the little park area needs a bit of tidy up. Dinner and breakfast were amazing too in the restaurant, me and my sister are going to make it our yearly thing. Thank you for making our time amazing.

I do recommended to renovation practice area. It's dirty and old!! But 3 golf courses are absolutely stunning as always!! You can see Pines Bar photos menu on my post! Our snack lunch is great 👍🏻 👌.
