Dane is a fantastic golf coach, very knowledgeable and great at communicating with people of all ages. My son(16 years) has improved out of sight since having lessons with Dane on all aspects of his game. Would highly recommend to everyone no matter what level of ability!

Talked about clubs required,my blades are to advanced for me.Got a fitting booked for late January. When through hands,head,feet positions with club incline on higher irons. Require short game lesson in and around bunkers,putting g basics.

Dane has coached both my daughters, aged 9 and 11, for several years as they've progressed from complete novices to being able to tackle a course in the hunt for a handicap. Both girls love his lessons thanks to his friendly, patient and knowledgeable approach. An exceptional coach.

Dane has been my daughters coach the last two years, where she continues leaps and bounds. Dane is fantastic coach, and is great with juniors. This has seen him become a coach for the Lincolnshire girls squad, which is a testament to his coaching ability. Dane doesn’t just provide my daughter with technical drills, he allows her to take ownership of her game by letting her be inquisitive, which in turn makes her develop in between lessons where she can feedback different scenarios encountered & information that can support the next lesson. After sessions we get a detailed lesson overview on what has been worked on & drills that can improve certain aspects of the game.

Addlethorpe Golf and Country Club is an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place is a hidden gem. The highlight for us was the hot tub – a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The accommodation is top-notch, featuring fully equipped kitchens with everything you need, from a dishwasher to a stovetop, making it easy to cook your own meals. The attention to detail and the quality of the kitchenware were impressive. The on-site restaurant is a fantastic bonus, and having free private parking and WiFi was incredibly convenient. The location is ideal, just a short drive from Ingoldmells Beach, Skegness Butlins, and other local attractions like Skegness Pier and Tower Gardens. The serene environment of the golf and country club combined with modern amenities creates a perfect escape. Whether you’re here for a relaxing retreat or a fun-filled family getaway, Addlethorpe Golf and Country Club is the place to be. Highly recommended!

We managed to book this lodge last minute after our original plans fell through. The lodge was amazing, and the staff were very welcoming. It had everything we needed, and the bonus milk and plum loaf were delicious. The hot tub was lovely, and my teenagers enjoyed it without complaining, which was a nice change. The lodge was also conveniently located close to everything in the area. Thank you all.

Room hired for 60th birthday party very friendly staff couldn't be more helpful. Always clearing down tables chatting to people good with the children. The food was amazing buffet meal with potato, salmon, quiche, giant onion rings and meats. 😎

Played a small society day on their March offer. Course in good shape considering the rain and greens were impeccable! We had great food before and after and every single staff member we encountered were friendly, helpful and accommodating! This place is a real gem that takes huge pride in itself and visible investment continually back into the course. See you again soon.

Only went there for a society game of golf, didn't stay there. The service when we got there, we were treated to Coffee and biscuits which were okay. We played the lakes course which I think is harder than the Thonock course, really enjoyed the day plus the weather was good for us.

We had a great time at Thonock Park, thanks to the friendly attentive staff. The hotel rooms were modern, well maintained, clean and tidy. The two golf courses were in good condition, well maintained.A great location for a golf holiday.

Quite simply one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in (stayed in Rm 5). Very comfy beds and very clean. Price was very reasonable and the breakfast was freshly made. Very nice indeed and lovely surroundings (as its a Golf Course). Not sure of the description being a B&B. Its more like a 4 star hotel to be honest. Will look forward to staying again.

Was a great 4 nights there, didn’t realise that breakfast was included until the last day , only thing I can have a little winge about was the Freeview tv signal wasn’t that great which surprised us actually because it is in one of the highest places in Gainsborough, other than that everything was excellent and will 100% definitely be going back there again sometime

Lovely hot breakfast 🍳 and a decent Guinness. Lady behind the bar extremely polite and accommodating. Facilities are good. It’s just what you get at a golf club. Would’ve preferred to have been asked which eggs I’d like but other than that no complains. Will return.

Came for Sunday lunch with the family, had the salmon, pork and beef and everyone of us were really happy with the food and welcoming service! Then the cheesecake was the icing on the cake! A welcome change of ownership and I’d recommend the new team and the golf club for a place to eat (and drink!) for everyone!! Would definitely recommend if you have tried here before to give it another go, or if you are looking for somewhere new to try! Thank you!

Took Dad in here for Sunday roast dinner and it was superb. Lamb shank and venison dinners, with a load of various veg, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding etc were faultless. Will definitely be going back. Best Sunday roast dinner I have had at a venue. Quiet, warm and welcoming with all staff friendly, coutreous and professional. Book and go, you will not be disappointed.

Made very welcome as a visitor. Top bacon and egg "bun" and a coffee for £5 breakfast. Course was very interesting. Far from simple but not impossible. Allowed the odd wayward shot. Really could do with signs indicating where the next tee box is. Cracking value a round and buggy for £40.

Possibly the most difficult golf course I've ever played and I've played over 500 all over the world. If you can't carry the ball 200 yds off the tee , stay at home. Absolutely brutal but brilliant at the same time. Definitely not fun, but a magnificent challenge

Golf course - we played the Hotchkin course and it was in immaculate condition. It was challenging, in terms of length, bunkers (as some very extremely deep) as well as having penal rough! Clubhouse - lovely clubhouse but could l do with an uplift. It needs some TLC but with some investment, it could be absolutely superb. Driving range - it’s about five minutes walk from the shop but it is super. Lots of Toptracer bays and a great Short game area as well. Just what you’d expect from the home of England Golf.

Excellent course that I was lucky enough to qualify to play on for the England ladies medal final . Lovely experience. Very welcoming staff. Homely feel to it. Offers a wide range of facilities to practice on. A must try for all golfers. Very helpful greenside bunkers to keep you on your toes.

After what must have been a difficult winter for every golf club in the Country, to see Blankney in such great condition was a joy and a testament to the hard work that must have gone into getting this course back into A+ Condition. Possibly the most undulating and deceptively tricky layouts in Lincolnshire, Blankney Golf course will test every element of your game, but will also reward you when playing well. The opening 4 holes are a very clear insight into how the round will be played: An uphill dog leg par 4 to begin, a risk and reward par 4, followed by a Par 5 that will challenge any golfer to make par, followed by another risk and reward par 4 - these 4 set the tone for the round and can make or break a round early in the day! Other highlights include the daunting tee shot on the 6th, the deceptive par 3 13th and the closing hole par 5 that can have you thinking of birdie or wondering if 8 is a good score! For £30 per person, in June, in late morning, combined with a beautiful setting, clubhouse and lovely staff, Blankney is a must visit golf course.

Pleasant enough course with good facilities and helpful staff. Only downside was that greens were being treated (which is necessary, of course). I really think that guests should be informed if a course has any special conditions when making their booking - if you're going to charge £40 for a round, you want to be providing a good experience.

Beautiful course set in the Lincolnshire countryside. The whole team is incredibly welcoming and there to help out with any questions. The junior section is great with weekly lessons, summer camp days, and dates out on the course. The pro shop is equipped with a great range of products. The newly refurbished club house is spacious and light. Offering a range of beverages and food. I'd highly recommend booking in a round of golf or joining as a member.

Well worth a visit. Lovely setting that includes an outdoor driving range and a fair size putting green. The course is quite tough so put your thinking cap on. The food was very good. Be careful when you go in off the road as it is quite tight.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover a beautifully maintained golf course in the heart of Grimsby. The course was in excellent condition and provided a delightful setting for a leisurely stroll. Following our walk, we enjoyed a delicious meal at the clubhouse. I highly recommend the bacon and Stilton panini, which was simply exquisite.

Amazing Stay at the Golfer’s Retreat - Customer Service was great. We went up as 4 couples for a Staycation and stayed 4 nights with spacious rooms each with their own en-suite. The host was very responsive and ensured we had an amazing stay. Sunday Carvery was great to finish off our stay and we were able to use the BBQ grill for a sunset BBQ as a group.

Staying with my lifetime best friends and just treated them to Sunday lunch at the carvery. They live 7mins away and have never been before. Have to say it was just 5 star in every way, hospitality, food, wine and hospitality again. Thanks folks, Sue and Simon will be back. For me 6,600 miles is a bit of a treck for lunch.

First time coming here for a Sunday lunch, if you haven’t had one yet I must say get yourself down here. It’s a hidden gem! Probably one of the best views for a meal in Lincolnshire. Staff are attentive and real joy to be around. Would highly recommend. [I would advise booking, as we were lucky to get a walk in table, and just generally very busy]

Amazing day and the WHOLE course was open(winter/Jan)... no temp greens or tees. The price was £20pp in a group of 5. Front 9 was nice and open with a bit of water and the back 9 was very testing but still amazing with a little bit more water 😉😂 the greens are a bit fast for the time of year but that's golf.
