The Best Golf Courses in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom (2025)

Only went there for a society game of golf, didn't stay there. The service when we got there, we were treated to Coffee and biscuits which were okay. We played the lakes course which I think is harder than the Thonock course, really enjoyed the day plus the weather was good for us.

Quite simply one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in (stayed in Rm 5). Very comfy beds and very clean. Price was very reasonable and the breakfast was freshly made. Very nice indeed and lovely surroundings (as its a Golf Course). Not sure of the description being a B&B. Its more like a 4 star hotel to be honest. Will look forward to staying again.

We had a great time at Thonock Park, thanks to the friendly attentive staff. The hotel rooms were modern, well maintained, clean and tidy. The two golf courses were in good condition, well maintained.A great location for a golf holiday.

Fantastic carvery, the best around! Always return. Delicious food, generous portions, amazing environment overlooking the golf course and excellent service from staff. Highly recommend.
