It's my favourite place to eat! Lovely lovely staff, very quick service, and a comfy old fashioned pub that you know is going to fill you up. Half of the dishes I can't finish. The food price matches the weatherspoon for the most part, but the portions are so much bigger and taste nicer.
We arrived on a Monday evening at 5.30 There wasn't to many people in at that time maybe half a dozen . The service was great and the staff where very accommodating .There were 10 of us and the food came out all at the same time and was very hot . The food was worth the money and it was a good hearty meal ..
This is a hidden gem. Dont be put off by the exterior, the food here is fantastic and great value for money. Staff are also fantastic, friendly and go above and beyond for everyone. However, its the puddings, home made and fantastic. We are glad we didn't find this place at the beginning of our holiday as we would all weigh 3 kilos heavier. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a great place to sit on a quiet day.
