Delicious food and a big thanks to Chef Ahmed for the amazing flavors! Great location — cozy and easy to find. Highly recommended!

My husband and I just had Dinner at the Chequers Brasserie at Harlow, Ahmed the Chief/manager, made our food, served it chatted to us, the food was great, as was the service and friendliness, I can highly recommend having a meal there. Angie, behind the bar was lovely too, the regular patrons were friendly and sociable too, it's a great place for anyone to drop into, especially us Aussies 😀 😊

Without a doubt the BEST roast dinner had out in a long time. Really good portions and incredible food. Was a really cute little pub, recommend booking as it is quite small. Parking just around the corner, and super friendly atmosphere. Will be top of my list for when fancy a roast dinner out again.

Ahmed the chef was incredible. He came to our table, was friendly and kind, he gave us a real A star service. The food….well what can I say, best roast I’ve ever had, it was succulent, hot and a generous portion. I have not stop telling people. The sad thing was that the pub was very quiet, I think it may be the time we went but word of mouth is definitely needed as people are missing out on this outstanding food.

We went to the brasserie for Mother's Day. The service was excellent, Ahmed was so welcoming and attentive, as too was Angela behind the bar. The food quality was high with good portion sizes combined with tasty flavours. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you.
