Very nice pizzas and Italian food. They offer a lot of variety for children in the form of smaller portions of the pasta and pizza menu. They were also accommodating to the request of my daughter to not add tomato to one of their risottos. The only thing I would improve is that they had Coke and diet Coke, but not Coke zero.
Went here the day before Mother's Day, with my Mum and my sister. 1st visit for me. Menu is extensive and most definitely something for everyone. Service was great, Food tasted AMAZING, I mean really really good flavours in all 3 main dishes. We had Risotto Mare risotto, Del Bosco pasta dish and Contadina pasta dish. Highly recommend and will be back for more!
I’ve been to Davvero twice and both times the food and service were excellent. It’s great to see a local, family run place like this doing so well serving authentic Italian food (owners are Sicilan). I had the Sicilian sausage pasta on the first visit and pizza paesana on the second. Both were really delicious. My family also loved their dishes. I will take my Italian parents when they come for a visit!
We had a 6pm booking and we're welcomed and sat very quickly. We ordered and the food arrived very quickly but was piping hot and delicious. I had the Bar Espresso Special and my partner had the Pollo Milanese. Both were so nice and really big portions so good value for money. We also got a side of the plain garlic focaccia which was really nice too. We will be back again when we are in St Albans.
We are here for the first time last week with another couple of friends. The manager/owner made us feel very much at home and the young waiter was friendly. However the stars of the show were the dishes, everything we ate was delicious, the best restaurant meal I'd had in ages. And a range of cocktails and cocktails too! Will go back again, already looking forward to it.
