I have been doing extra tuition in maths with Tutor in Leeds for the last couple of months to prepare me for an exam I will be taking once I emigrate to Canada to study. I hadn't done maths since high school (8 years ago) so I was very nervous coming into the maths lessons at first. My tutor Liam was fantastic, I was instantly put at ease and felt comfortable during the lessons. We started right at the basics and worked up to the really difficult maths working through every method step by step. I can now say with confidence that I feel fully prepared to sit my exam once I fly to Canada. I would highly recommend to anybody who may be struggling with a subject. Absolute outstanding tutor. Our son suffers with ADHD and autism, Liam not only has helped with Maths but also we noticed our sons confidence has also improved. The maths home work year 11 receives is no joke and is way above the level we are at, so we used Liam to help support our son through his maths and assessments. Jake has been extremely helpful during the years that I have been studying gcses where near the start of year 10 I was struggling in both chemistry and physics but after learning from Jake and his extremely good teaching I was able to bounce back and will hopefully get a 9 in both subjects for gcse. Jake is a brilliant Maths tutor and I can't recommend him highly enough. He is thoughtful, friendly and analytical. He guided my son through all of the topics he was finding tricky until he was able to identify and work through them with ease. Jake gave our son confidence to raise his own expectations and go for the top grades. A communicative tutor, who let us know how our son was doing regularly and responsive to any questions we had. Fingers crossed for August, but whatever the outcome our son has benefitted from Jake's patience and support.

My son Lucas has been attending tutor sessions with Hilda since 2018 for help with his Maths and English. He is now in Year 6 and has improved considerably, thanks to the extra help he has received. Hildas lessons are professional and tailor planned to help develop areas that need extra attention. She has built a great relationship with Lucas and he always comes away from the sessions feeling really positive. Hilda finds reading material that Lucas would find interesting and she understands the requirements for SATs, which has given him a better grasp of tackling test questions. Recently due to the lockdown, lessons have been conducted online, which were again professional and adapted to Lucas' needs. My son has just started here but he absolutely loves it. Even with his other activities this has quickly become the highlight of his week. He loves to learn and the classes are helping him to progress at the speed he needs. He was feeling bored with school but these classes have helped him and his focus both in and out of school. Highly recommend for any parent that are noticing a drop in their childs enthusiasm for school.

My 2 girls have started Explore Learning for a while. My eldest daughter has been there 2 years now. I can see big improvement with her studies. She was quite behind with her school works and now she is doing fine. She passed her year 2 SAT’s exams except her English reading. She will be doing a lot of work on comprehension and the tutor in Explore Learning gave her all the support and help. If she didn’t do extra tuition I don’t think she would do that well. So thanks to all the tutors there that help my girls. My second daughter that have been there for 1 year she is doing really well and she passed her phonic screening test. So I am pleased with her result. So I will definitely recommend Explore Learning to all my family and friends.
