First time playing Pontefract today, excellent staff, great course and really good club house.

Course is an undulating challenge. Greens have always been excellent when visited. Pro shop is very helpful. Bar and catering are faultless. Get it booked 👌

Bunker refurbishment program well on it's way, paths being upgraded & scrub areas extensively cleared throughout the winter, the golf club has a offer of £750 FM & no joining fee. Greens take ball all year round, no matter what club you use.

Excellent course, good test of skills, well maintained, friendly atmosphere.

Course in decent nick, although it could get seriously boggy when real winter arrives. Gale force winds and crazy amounts of leaves blowing around, but enjoyable nevertheless. Food was good too, recommended.
