I was initially skeptical after reading some negative reviews, but we chose to stay here due to the attractive package price and its close proximity to Warner Bros. Studios. To my surprise, everything exceeded expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything was just right — convenient parking, a beautifully maintained property, and a warm, inviting ambience with a display library. Our room (No. 40, old wing) was an absolute standout: spotlessly clean, fresh, and not a trace of dust in sight. The manor itself is impeccably kept, with picturesque gardens, vibrant flowers, towering trees, and even a charming chapel that adds to the fairytale setting. Breakfast, service, strong WIFI, and the overall location were all fantastic. It turned out to be a perfect stay!

A really beautiful hotel, with lovely views and our room no 21 was very nice and spacious I didn't get a picture of the bathroom but it was a wet room and very nicely presented. We didn't have an evening meal but we did have breakfast which was nice a continental buffet, my only point would be that this is such a lovely hotel maybe the hot breakfast could be made to order rather than buffet.

After a bad experience at another hotel, we were so grateful to find this one.The staff were warm and attentive, the room was bright and spacious, and the garden added a peaceful touch. There was a party the first night, but the music ended by 11:30 p.m. and we weren’t disturbed after that. A delightful stay — highly recommended.

This was my autistic sister's first trip away from home for her hen do; she wanted to go to warner bros studios, so we booked in with the Shendish. This trip was a very big deal for her and the staff and establishment couldn't have been lovelier. They went out of their way to ensure satisfaction and even upgraded our room when the TV wasn't working. Sometimes things don't go to plan but having the right staff in place to make people feel calmer about it is wonderful. Thank you for our stay!
