The Best Golf Courses in Greenwich, Greater London, United Kingdom (2025)

It's nice to treat yourself to the elegant and stately surroundings for Sunday Lunch. I did feel, however, that it wasn't as good the first time round. The actual roast beef lunch seemed if was of the pre prepared variety that most pub restaurants do. The beef was passable but may have been not freshly carved. The accompanying vegetables were nothing of note. I hope I'm wrong as it's a good venue to eat, albeit a tad on the pricey side, but that's to be expected.

We chose to have our wedding reception at Royal Blackheath in April. What an amazing venue we chose! Staff were fantastic throughout the whole process and on the day, the food was superb and we couldn't have asked for more. I can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you RBGC!

A golf course with a royal status. Wasn't the longest or the most challenging course that I played so far, but it very well maintained. Has a classic club house that server fantastic food. Probably give higher recommend to the restaurant than the course.😅 It's a been there done that course, as it's not easily accessible. (Private course)

You'll get over the fact you have to wear a red top after you realise the course is in the middle of a public park... Quite annoying really with so many people nonchalantly strolling across the fairway (lots of paths across the course with bikes, prams, dogs, kids etc..). Feels like they should be the ones wearing red so you know who not to hit, most don't understand fore either.. Anyway aside of from the obvious flaws, it's actually a pretty neat course.. An unusual course, short but with long par 3s, no bunkers or water. Most holes are reasonably open off the tee but with enough wood to make it not feel like a field. Would probably play again now that I know what to expect, perhaps a bit steep for £40 a round..

Amazing fun , warm and friendly members and club staff and good value. There is a very woodland feel to this course and some tight holes making this an impressive place , greens are good. Just watch out for the odd ignorant dog owner .

Was a wonderful place for a birthday experience. Kids enjoyed themselves. Would definitely go back. 18 holes to play with lot of challenging terrain. The queue system was a bit tricky with kids as they were eager to move from one hole to the next.

I had a great time at Crazy Putt London by the O2 Arena. The 18-hole mini-golf course is a lot of fun and has a great mix of easy and challenging holes. The course is well-maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a great activity for families, friends, or even a date night. Overall, I highly recommend Crazy Putt London for anyone looking for a fun and entertaining mini-golf experience.

Went with my 8yr old son. We spent 1&1/2hr there, its 18 holes. Easy to find, 10 min walk from north Greenwich tube station. Good value priced. Friendly, kind, approachable staff. We walked in from street rather than booking ahead. We had fun. A little challenging course which is ideal. Used the handy ball net if it went in the water Cardboad scorecard & pencil given.Clean and well maintained. Looking forward to return. Cafe under refurbishment today

Wow, what a lovely course and a great test of golf. On 1st August the whole course was in beautiful condition; tees, fairways and greens. Every hole offers a different challenge. Greens were the best I’ve played this year. As a 13 handicap I’d play it again tomorrow having felt I didn’t do it justice first time around. Visitor green fees with a member are very reasonable.

Attended for a Wake of a close relative. A lovely venue. However the entrance is a bit confusing as it's gated, it took a while to realise there's a line on the ground in front of the gates, and car needed to be near that to allow gates to open. Lovely views from the reception area across the 18th hole and out towards Sidcup/Welling. Nice clean facilities, friendly staff.

Nice course in really good condition. Shame the pro didn't tell us about the past Capts comp & from the 13th tee would be closed. Luckily there were some friendly members who helped

Great place. Went for the kids golf. Had a lovely time. Thus was a birthday party. We return every year.

We went to Birchwood Park to attend a celebration of a beautiful life cut sorrowfully short, and not to play golf. That said, we were greeted by beautiful and immaculately kept grounds that were being used by plenty of golfers engaged in their sport. The views were nothing short of stunning, the atmosphere serene. The room we were in was spacious and light with a sheltered balcony and easy access to bathroom facilities. All guests were made to feel very welcome by all members of Birchwood Park's staff from serving staff to the bar manager: I felt they appreciated the solemness of the occasion, and were beyond courteous. The afternoon tea provided was fulsome, with copious amounts of sandwiches - quality fillings well presented. We all to a man left feeling much more relaxed, even in spite of the initial purpose of us coming together: I think that the venue combined with the way we were all looked after by the staff had a lot to do with this.

I would highly recommend using their venue for functions as the venue is a beautiful and an amazing place. The staff were absolutely wonderful and very professional and helpful in every way. Shana the events manager was a complete star she went above and beyond to help us all the way throughout to organise our Grandmother's wake. I would highly recommend this venue and myself and my family would like to thank Shana and her team for everything they have done for us and we would definitely use the venue again for future functions. I have had the pleasure of shooting several weddings at Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club. The Clubhouse hosts their ceremony room on the first floor, overlooking the rolling fairways and lake, and is a beautiful room offering plenty of natural light for photographs. There is plenty of outside space for group photos, candid documentary photography and couple portraits. The staff are helpful and professional.

Booked this for my boyfriend (who is golf obsessed) for his birthday and he absolutely loved it! Amazing service from the minute we walked in & was both given a free birthday shot which was a nice touch. The golf simulators were great & had the lunch- chicken wrap and beef sliders- was amazing! Good choice of beers/ciders, thanks again!

Good experience, very friendly staff offering top notch service. The golf games themselves are just okay, putting here isn’t worth the effort. Excellent bar and comfortable leather sofas.

A great way to enjoy golf in London regardless of the weather. Bar and kitchen are available while you play and staff around to serve so you can stay focused. Would love similar opportunities outside of central London.

Good experience with friends, the technology to play is fairly accurate. The waiter Jan is excellent. Excellent bar and exterior. Definitely coming back again!

Great way to spend your weekend with a group of friends. I visited with a group of my friends and I couldn’t realise how the time passed by. We enjoyed a lot competing with eachother. They have live screen to watch all the live metrics, you can definitely make use of it if you are a golf beginner just like me. They also serve food and drinks inside. Although veg options are very limited, they had a good taste. I would highly recommend this place.

Exceptional Golfing Experience at Peninsula Greenwich "We recently had the pleasure of playing golf at Peninsula Green, and it was truly one of the best experiences! The course was immaculate, with breathtaking views of the bay. Although dining options were limited, the cheesy fries were a highlight. The bay's serene atmosphere made our visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommend Peninsula Green for golf enthusiasts!
