George and his colleagues did an amazing job on this garden. Over a long period of time it had become really overgrown. In the space of 4 days it has been transformed. From our initial discussion with our design to completion we are delighted with our garden transformation. Tom worked so hard to put our design/ ideas in place, lots of soil removal to level the garden, a sand stone terrace laid, trellis and such beautiful brick work with design in mind at every stage. He worked so well with both the local forge who made the pergola and the electrician too. We do appreciate all his hard work through the heatwave and rain, journeys back and forth whilst leaving each day a tidy garden and driveway with such thought and kindness. A big thank you. Tom and Brendon work well together. With a narrow access they removed a large shed, concrete, bricks and slabs. The garden now has a beautiful patio with beds around 3 sides and cut in. Nice work. I shall recommend this team and will be in contact for more work in the future, thank you Tom and Brendon.

Tom and Brendon completed 3 jobs for me over a few months. Back garden. Layed paving and stone chips, 2 raised beds with sleepers, large brick step to shed, replaced water buts. Replanted my small fruit trees into bed. No longer a dumping area. Repointed side wall because of internal damp problem. Well overdue. Dirty job, lots of dust. Dug up front garden area, removed overgrown shrubs, repaired a brick wall. Layed artificial turf, my choice, straightend driveway matching up with brick paving to original, flower bed. Layed brick edging and pebbles around the area. All waste disposed of. Both hardworking, knowledgeable in what they do. HIGHLY RECOMMEND their work

We had our garden done by Alf and the team back in February and couldnât recommend enough. The job was a full on re-landscaping of every inch to replace it with a new split-level patio with aco drain, new turf, fence, and planting border, along with a tree removal. Our garden is very small and North-facing, so it was always difficult for us to see the potential. However, Alf is full of great ideas and advice and consulted with us closely to agree on a design that maximises the spaceâs full potential. The garden has gone from just a tiny, neglected spot of land to a highly functional space for entertaining, with a larger patio area in the shade of the house (perfect for getting some respite from the heat when dining), and a smaller raised patio at the sunny end for lounging and catching some rays! Iâve only just got around to writing a review but hopefully the delay only makes it more credible as we are now several months on and have actually had the opportunity to put the garden to good use, and it 100% meets expectations. Many downpours have tested, but most definitely not defeated, the drainage system put in place which is highly effective. Everything else remains as perfect as the day it was put in. We know this wasnât an easy job⌠Firstly, we have no direct access to our garden. Fortunately, we have very kind neighbours who were happy for the team to come through their garden and around the side of their house. Other landscapers were not keen to take the job on but Alf was more keen to find solutions and make it work, rather than finding excuses not to. And, Iâm happy to report that the neighbours were very satisfied with how everything was cleaned up and put back in place for them afterwards. Secondly, the weather was awful⌠a far wetter than usual February. Iâve no doubt this made things more difficult but the team kept going. Of course, February also brings short days but Alf was often found completing work well after the sun had set, where it was practicable to do so. To summarise, if youâre looking for a knowledgable, experienced, and friendly landscape professional, who treats your property (and neighbouring properties) with absolute respect, and who has the dedication to finish the job to an exceptional standard, even in challenging conditions, then I would 100% recommend Alf and Arum Landscapes. I hope people find this review helpful - Iâve included some before and after pics to show the transformation. I did the planting so please donât judge anyone else for that if Iâve done a bad job!!

Joe and his team have done a great job clearing and prepping our garden for future landscaping works. Joe was very patient with our various requests and changes and more than happy to break down the job for us into different stages so we can manage the cost. The lads worked really efficiently, arrived when they said they work and left a very tidy site behind. We will definitely be using Joe and Matt again for future works.

I was looking to create a new herbaceous border but wasnât sure where to start. I was recommended to Hythe Garden Landscapes and I have been so pleased with the service provided. The team have excellent knowledge of plants and were able to recommend, source and plant some excellent specimens for me which will provide interest and colour throughout the year. They also tidied up the rest of my garden and provided additional plants where required. I will be asking them back to maintain the garden as and when required. We first employed Simon when he was starting out on his new venture. I'm so pleased we took him on. We found him to be most reliable, come rain or shine, only in exceptional weather conditions did he ever cancel.
