We first employed Simon when he was starting out on his new venture. I'm so pleased we took him on. We found him to be most reliable, come rain or shine, only in exceptional weather conditions did he ever cancel. We found him hard working, tidy, punctual, trustworthy and always a pleasure to deal with. The work for us was varied but Simon always listened to what we wanted done and achieved the results we wanted. We would certainly not hesitate to recommend Simon for any job.

If you are looking for a gardener with a passion for the environment, Simon is your man. He has been talking care of our garden for years now and we are quite happy with his work. Simon has helped out with odd jobs such as turning the compost heap, removing grass and moss from the driveway as well. And he will not cost you an arm and a leg.

I cannot praise Shane, Keith and his team enough!! During our design consultation, Shane came up with some good ideas and I'm glad I went along with them, as my patio is now a very special place for us, where we can just relax or entertain. Shane and his team are just basically amazing! They are very professional (know what they are doing…), punctual, tidy and committed to the job at hand and in a nutshell they want to create your dream. I cannot tell you how much I love just looking at my new patio, I now have my very own little piece of "Love Island" yes I love watching Love Island :) The porcelain slabs have been laid to perfection and I get so many positive comments on how well the slabs have been laid. Keith built my cedar wood pergola and it looks amazing (one of Shane's ideas….) and I have to agree with Shane it really does set of the patio. Shane is always contactable, when not on site, which we really appreciated. The quality of workmanship is outstanding and we are so over the moon that we choose Kent's Best Landscapers to build our super patio (one of the best decisions we have made!). Like others, my nearly new build had a large patch of land behind the house which was jokingly called a garden. Following recommendations, Shane and his team took on this almost impossible task. Now 2.5 weeks later, the first three people who walked into my now courtyard garden started with the same words …. Wow, wow wow. And it is. Worth every penny. First-class. Jesse and his team, which consisted of Junior and Alex worked tirelessly and effortlessly to finish the job in question during some awful weather. I found them polite, friendly and they did everything that was asked of them and more. I would highly recommend them and would have no hesitation in using them again. In fact, we have already started to plan additional work for the coming Spring/Summer. They are a real to the building profession.

We had our garden done by Alf and the team back in February and couldn’t recommend enough. The job was a full on re-landscaping of every inch to replace it with a new split-level patio with aco drain, new turf, fence, and planting border, along with a tree removal. Our garden is very small and North-facing, so it was always difficult for us to see the potential. However, Alf is full of great ideas and advice and consulted with us closely to agree on a design that maximises the space’s full potential. The garden has gone from just a tiny, neglected spot of land to a highly functional space for entertaining, with a larger patio area in the shade of the house (perfect for getting some respite from the heat when dining), and a smaller raised patio at the sunny end for lounging and catching some rays! I’ve only just got around to writing a review but hopefully the delay only makes it more credible as we are now several months on and have actually had the opportunity to put the garden to good use, and it 100% meets expectations. Many downpours have tested, but most definitely not defeated, the drainage system put in place which is highly effective. Everything else remains as perfect as the day it was put in. We know this wasn’t an easy job… Firstly, we have no direct access to our garden. Fortunately, we have very kind neighbours who were happy for the team to come through their garden and around the side of their house. Other landscapers were not keen to take the job on but Alf was more keen to find solutions and make it work, rather than finding excuses not to. And, I’m happy to report that the neighbours were very satisfied with how everything was cleaned up and put back in place for them afterwards. Secondly, the weather was awful… a far wetter than usual February. I’ve no doubt this made things more difficult but the team kept going. Of course, February also brings short days but Alf was often found completing work well after the sun had set, where it was practicable to do so. To summarise, if you’re looking for a knowledgable, experienced, and friendly landscape professional, who treats your property (and neighbouring properties) with absolute respect, and who has the dedication to finish the job to an exceptional standard, even in challenging conditions, then I would 100% recommend Alf and Arum Landscapes. I hope people find this review helpful - I’ve included some before and after pics to show the transformation. I did the planting so please don’t judge anyone else for that if I’ve done a bad job!!

Wayne and his team were able to start the extension of our drive over a month before expected and completed the job ahead of schedule. All the guys were polite and worked so hard. Wayne and his team did a great job remodelling our garden. It involved quite a lot of groundwork, and a lot of sleeper work, which was completed to a very high standard. They also did a fantastic job of laying a paved area on the upper level, and laying artificial grass on the lower level. They also replaced several posts and panels of the fence, all to the same high standards. I would not hesitate to recommend Living Landscapes.

Joe and his team have done a great job clearing and prepping our garden for future landscaping works. Joe was very patient with our various requests and changes and more than happy to break down the job for us into different stages so we can manage the cost. The lads worked really efficiently, arrived when they said they work and left a very tidy site behind. We will definitely be using Joe and Matt again for future works.
