The decor inside is the real winner of Wilding, with a lovely mix of tables in nooks, soft chairs etc spread over the different levels. The stairs - particularly to the restroom - reflect the heritage of the building and add nice quirks. There’s a good range of different teas available and fresh cakes, and service was pleasant and polite through the Christmas rush.
A must visit in Canterbury. Service was outstanding. The server was extremely kind and the staff was very friendly. We went with our dog, and they were all extremely welcoming. The decoration is lovely. Every inch is worth observing, as it has its own theme/style. It even has a reading room for children, which I found quite unique. Our drinks were delicious. The rose latte was the perfect way to end our afternoon. 🌹
Great ham sandwich and pancakes, I also particularly enjoyed the mango cooler which was very refreshing. Beautiful atmosphere with nicely decorated surroundings and plenty of seating.
Cute little cafe with eclectic decoration and lots of cozy places to sit. Their entrance is within sight of the main cathedral gate. There is seating outdoors at the back and also upstairs which is the preferred place for me. Coffee and tea both good and staff very friendly and helpful. Look out for the very small unique toilet with entrance on the stairs.
