Regularly visit Rumpys after our Sons football games on a Sunday. Has become a tradition. In 5 or so years, never had a bad bit of food and the service is amazing. Fantastic with the kids and our oldies. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else when near town. Thanks for the brilliant service Rumpy family!
Three generations of our family have been eating here for years. This very lovely family run business always serves good quality, generously portioned, freshly prepared and cooked meals. The eggs have rich golden yolks and the sausages are the finest butchers own ... and the homemade lasagne is belissimo! My other personal favourite is the liver & bacon in a delicious gravy with mash ... yum! We highly recommend eating here :)
This is our 'go to' place for breakfast/ brunch. It's a family business and I believe in supporting local businesses. Very friendly, kind and always make you feel welcome. Very good portion sizes and definitely value for money. They always serve my cuppcinco nice and hot, unlike some cafeteria where it has been luke warm. We had family visiting over Christmas and we took them here for brunch. They thoroughly enjoyed the meal and my younger brother commented, he has not been to a lovely traditional cafe since his youth. A truly nostalgic moment for him and beautiful dining experience. As a Muslim, I was hesitant to buy from here because they serve pork. I was disappointed to find out that nothing is halal. However the owners and staff reassured me that so I didn’t have to waste my time. I value honesty. Because of that, I bought a coffee that they gave on the house. Thank you
