I recently brought my first house and it’s been a bit of a project; however I didn’t realise how poor (and dangerous!) the existing wiring was. Naturally, I looked around for an electrician to assess the full extent of the work needed and someone who was reliable. After going through the reviews of a number of electricians I finally came across Mike. He responded fast to any communications sent and was really friendly. He came and thoroughly assessed the wiring/electrics. I was initially concerned about the costs due to having a strict budget but the quote he provided was extremely fair for the significant work required and took the time to explain things to me. Whilst I went to work, I left a key with Mike who quietly went about his work and helpfully provided updates when needed. He works fast but his work is incredibly thorough and exceeds expectations. I don’t normally write reviews but I would really recommend Mike to anyone who needs an electrician. If I have any further work, this is the guy I will go to every time.

Mike has just done me a garage conversion into a salon. From the very start Mike listened and guided me through the best way to achieve things and at an affordable price. All the way through he communicated well with me and kept me upto date on a step to step process and I was really pleased with the work he did and the end result. He's very friendly and approachable and does everything he can to meet your needs. Will definitely reccomend!

I just had securelex install electrics to my new shed. Have to say they did a fantastic Job and cleaned up after themselves. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. They also fitted a floodlight and fixed one of my flickering spotlights in the dinner room. Absolutely fantastic service from start to end. professional and efficient team. They did some wirings, installed shower circuit, changed the fuse board to a modern one, removed the unsafe lightings and fitted new lights for us. the team inspected and tested the electricity before and after work is completed. They were very kind to do some extra works, like helping us to fit the bathroom fan. Great communication, gave us professional and honest opinions, explained clearly, listened to our requirements on where to put the sockets and how we prefer the light-switches to be. They carried out work with care, minimise drilling holes on the wall or lifting the floorboards. They also kept the place clean. We are really pleased and happy with the work. :)

I had some outside electrical work done by Sal and the team, and they were brilliant. They were friendly, respectful of my property and made sure I was completely happy with the work before they left. 5-star service with reasonable prices! Our home had been having electrical issues since we moved in. For some reason, the lights in our living room were never bright up to their potential regardless of the types of bulbs we replaced - if we tried a 13W led bulb and an 8W bulb, the 13W wouldn't light up, and both bulbs could only be turned on/off by the same switch. We had that insufficient brightness for nearly two years until they came and fixed it! By talking to them, I would say they were one of the most honest people you could find on the market nowadays. Besides the lighting issues, they also helped us fit the extractor fan and fill in the big hole surrounding the fan pipe. He said he wasn't a builder so that was the first time he did it (only because we asked him to help) and he was proud of how nicely that was done, and so were we! :)) The way they did the job was very thoughtful and thorough. Some wall and ceiling fixing stuff when pulling out the wires they handled for us. After the job was done, they also cleaned the house nicely. We were delighted with their service and would recommend them to our friends and keep in touch for future improvements in our home.

Such a great company. They were really responsive from initial enquiry. Installation booked in and they were really flexible when I needed to pay. Sent through invoice promptly and I was able to pay the deposit through a number of channels. Turned up on the day agreed, after having messaged to remind me the day before and in the morning. Really helpful for me who is forgetful and reassuring to know they are still coming. On the day. Really friendly, speedy and tidy work. He showed me how to work the app with the charger and the other features. Overall a really positive experience. I highly recommend 😊

Adam’s communication from the beginning, from the initial visit to do the quote right through to work completion was excellent. Both him and Rich were friendly and nice to deal with. They changed four interior lights, two external security lights, fitted a new pendant light in the stairwell drop and changed a load of sockets and switches. The standard of the work was very good. Would highly recommend and will use again.

I would like to recommend Andy the electrician for any electrical work small or large. Andy is very professional through and a very meticulous worker. He goes through everything in detail with you and his charges are also very competitive. We have a large house that needed a full electrical go over and Andy did this work methodically and finished within the deadline. Andy came to two of my HMO properties during September, I had to have emergency lighting done to one house, an EICR, and smoke alarm Landlord certificates, and PAT testing. The other property just a EICR certificate. On both houses I had a few problems which Andy sorted out quickly and efficiently. Andy is very friendly and professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Andy is fantastic. He did some work for me last year and the communication and overall service was very professional so when I had a power cut today I contacted Andy straight away. Andy rang me back and talked me through what to do with the fuse board over the phone. Within 5mins the problem was sorted and the power back on, saving me the cost of a callout fee. I had Westwood Electrical in to do several jobs in my house over the last 12months. It started with a full rewire of my house. Right from Mark coming to quote the job I was impressed with his knowledge of the latest regulations and especially appreciated his advice on smoke detectors. I later had a charger for my electric car fitted and some outside sockets for the garden. On all 3 separate jobs Mark has always provided competitive pricing and been a tidy worker. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for all electrical work.

Extremely impressed with RSS, I will definitely be using this company for any future electrical work required. We had a doorbell installed and 3 double sockets added into various rooms in the property. Really great communication from start to finish. Ross came around to do view the work required, was quick to come back with a quote and book us in. Ross and his team came round earlier this year to do some work on rewiring our en suite bathroom and upgrading our alarm system. The standard of the work was excellent, Ross and his employees were diligent and professional, and everything was left neat and tidy. After-sales treatment was similarly brilliant and Ross assured us that if there were any problems, then he would come round immediately to correct them. No concerns there though, since the work was done to such a high standard. Overall, can't recommend RSS Electrical enough and well worth the money.
