Colin was very professional it was obvious he was a skilled electrican. He fitted a new storage heater for my 91 year old auntie he did a great job was very courteous and left everything clean and tidy, I would definitely use him again and would recommend him.

Colin attended the rental property that I live in to look at an electrical issue. Colin is clearly very experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about electrical services. His understanding of the regulations are second-to-none and I would have no concerns about hiring Colin for any electrical work.

We wanted to use a local electrician and found Colin, Ray of Light via his excellent on line reviews. Having purchased an older property in need of considerable renovation we were totally reliant on finding a knowledgeable, experienced electrician who was able to tackle a full rewire and make the house both safe and up to date. Colin provided an excellent service from start to finish which included an initial review followed by a comprehensive quotation before the works started. Colin completed a full rewire of the house which included a new consumer box, lithium optical mains powered smoke alarms, sockets, pendants, cooker installation, hob ignition and towel rail. Work also included the installation of a smaller consumer unit in the garage along with the installation of lighting, internal and external sockets. Colin is extremely professional, this was a large job and all the work he carried out for us has been to a consistently high standard. He only installs a top of the range electrical equipment, which other tradesmen have noticed and commented on. The quality of his work is of the highest standard, he is meticulous, tidy, courteous and above all I am in no doubt he has left us with a safe, compliant and much improved house. I would not hesitate to recommend Colin to anyone and would not think twice about asking him to work for us again in the future.

Perry from Volts did a great job making sure my house was up to spec before it was let out. On time, reliable, informative, did a really high quality tidy job and sent through the certification quickly. He did work on the circuit breaker, replaced my fire alarms, replaced lighting, plugs and did the full electrical testing.

Excellent service ... and they do not cut corners.. Found some faults ( mainly earthing shortcuts done by developers) in a fairly 5 year old property that was to be rented out. Fixed in a timely manor and reasonable price.. Would highly recommend and will use again.

I recently used Goodwill electrical for a rewire on a property I have bought, their service was professional and work spot on! Paul went out of his way to meet a change In plans and I highly recommend their services.

I asked Paul to check the wiring in my house after I was told by a different electrician that we would need a full rewire. Paul told us that we don’t need a rewire and that our electrics are absolutely fine. I’m so glad we checked with Paul as this would have been one very expensive mistake if not! He also didn’t charge us anything for the call out after seeing that nothing was wrong with the electrics. If we ever do have any problems we definitely know who to call now though. I have used Goodwill for several jobs at my home. Paul and his co-worker always arrive on time do an excellent job, they explain exactly what they were doing and make you feel safe and confident. I found them to be professional knowledgeable and two really decent guys. I would not use any other Electricians.

If i could give more than 5 stars i would. Anthony gave me a great quote to rewire my whole house. As i am 84 i was rather worried about any disruption. Anthony and Brian were brilliant.. The level of thier work is amazing.. They went above and beyond.. Made sure i was ok throughout the work and kept me informed on a daily basis on what they would be doing. Professional.. Friendly. Brilliant service from Anthony, he managed to diagnose the issue with my EV charger by tracking it down to an individual faulty relay in the consumer unit. Which was brilliant because I was starting to think I might need a new charger. After replacing the relay and testing the charger, it’s back up and running perfectly. Great quality of work and good communication throughout - thoroughly recommend and will definitely use PDI again.

PDI did a full re-wire of my house. Tony was prompt and extremely conscientious in all communications. When he and Brian did the main works they were always on time and the quality and value were great. I was working from home at the time and they were really considerate and just generally a pleasure to have around. They're absolute gems, I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Dan answered a request for work very quickly. We have used him for three jobs so far, moving sockets, replacing a fuse box and installing new ceiling lights. He always turns up on time, does a good job and leaves no mess. Highly recommended.

Please read to the end: Booked for 8.30am. Did not show up for the whole day. Called this morning and the guy told me that he would check with the lady in the office and call me back in ten minutes. That was well over an hour ago. Don't waste your time here. Update: I was contacted after 2 hours and the receptionist was very polite and apologetic. I have already booked somebody else now, but she was keen to make amends. It didn't help that I have already been messed around by the last electrician I called (from a different company), so wasn't in a particular patient mood! Final update: I was offered a free fault-finding service. The electrician came out quickly and sorted the problem. This is worth commending, because everybody makes mistakes, but only the decent companies care enough to put them right. I've left my original review up at the request of the company, but altered my rating to 5 stars.

Hey Amazing Electricians, We are very pleased with Johnny’s workmanship and ease of conversing with him today whilst he completed the work. Nothing was ever a problem during the 2 visits to the house. Finalising took around an hour. Overall, clean, tidy, honest, friendly from the quotation visit with Johnny and James. You were the fastest to have provided the quotation and follow up. The other competition were either not friendly or helpful or even after a quotation visit, didn’t provide a quote or show interest. I wasn’t hounded by Amazing Electricians after deciding to think about it and wait for other electrician quotations to come in. Once decided, I called through to the office and spoke to Vicky. The turn around to booking a day for the job was surprisingly a few days. We added one job and it was not a problem for Johnny and James. Great work everyone! For anyone reading this who want context… We had changed to old fuse box to a new 12 way consumer unit, upgraded the 6mm cable for the old 7.5 kW shower to allow for newer future upgrades and higher power with a 10mm cable run from the new consumer unit, along the old 6mm route, bedroom and into the attic and towards the bathroom. Again, no problem for these guys! The problem was the old shower pull cord needed replacing, I’d replaced that myself to only find the new one from ScrewFix was faulty and had burned out, and yes I did fully tighten the wires. As the switch overheated I had no way of turning off the shower, so had to rush to pull out the fuse and leave it over Christmas and New Years. 5 months later finally getting the work done. The fuse box was just on its limits, it was time to upgrade, make sure the house was safe and get the job done. We had the burnt out pull cord removed, blank plate to cover where the cord was. Had an extractor fan coupled with the light and timer installed. A new up to standard bathroom LED light installed, new pull cord for the light switch and 2 switches outside the bathroom for the shower and Isolator, allowing for the fan to be turned off if not needed with the light. Johnny and James made suggestions as I wanted their honest feedback with the options available for the light coupled with the fan and timer. Turning off the light switch would allow for the fan to continue to work for a period of time set after the light was turned off. Result: no need to have the window open, allowing for the room to get cold, no more condensation on the tiles and bathroom painted walls and brighter feel from these upgrades, able to add any electrical shower above 7.5kW-10.5kW available at the time of writing this review for better water output. We appreciate the whole experience and look forward to booking you all in for the EV and Solar Panels work, preferably with the same guys. Please send over details for that and some prices. Thank you for everything, we now have peace of mind, a happy mother and sister with the shower back in action and better overall feel for safety.

Mario turned up promptly and had good communication and good work ethic. He spent a lot of time with us to do the quote and explain the options. (The only thing we would have preferred is if he had quoted us for some work instead of saying its going to cost a lot and we will have to rip up the floor. (which we were willing to do!)) Once we had agreed on work to be done and we're all on the same page his work was great. He kept us informed all along the way and helped us out a lot. He even pointed out a few things that needed dealing with as an emergency in other parts of the house. He changed all the hardware in the house -(light switches and sockets), installed a new consumer board, electric heaters and a porch light and rewired the oven so it was earthed and safe. We also asked him to add on a new ring to upstairs and it works well and looks good (we had it trunked and used conduit instead of ripping open walls) His costs were a bit over other quotes but he did start the work immediately and did the job to a high standard so we are very happy we went with BES Electrical

Mario at BSE Electrical gave some excellent advice over the phone to assist with an issue I was having at home with sockets not working. It was really helpful and has meant I did not need to call someone out on this occasion, the fuse board just needed one of the switches put back up, tripped as a result of a bulb blowing. I shall has no hesitation to contact them should I need a local electrician.

Rang Scott as needed a light and a couple of sockets in my garage, he organised his son Charlie to come out. Completed quote and work with in a couple days. Very tidy work.

I was recommended Scott by a friend whom had used SRG's electrical services for his new kitchen and spoke very highly of Scott and his work. Upon texting Scott I immediately received a call back and when I explained I needed a HMO electrical inspection asap, Scott rearranged his diary to fit me in that week. I met Scott at the property, I found him to be very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I believe the price charged was fair, far more fair than others I'd had quotes from.
