Me and my partner recently bought a house that we are currently renovating, Lewis has helped carried out and advised us on all electrical works that we wanted doing around the house. No job was too big for Lewis, he goes out his way and he met our expectations and beyond. I couldn’t recommend Lewis enough and we will have him carry out any future electrical works 🛠️

Lewis has done several jobs for me over the last few weeks both at home and at work and always been punctual, polite and hard working. Even when the job threw up problems he was professional and didn't stop until he had overcome the issues. I would highly recommend Lewis for any of your plumbing or electrical needs.

Its so hard to find trades people you can trust. We went with Hackwood because of the great reviews and so glad we did! Tom has rewired our full reno and it's great. He visited and listened to our ideas and explained how we could get there. His expertise and suggestions means we have ended up with a house which looks modern and bright, while retaining its historic charm. Couldn't recommend them enough!!

Scott recently installed several new plug sockets and re-wired a cooker socket when we had our kitchen refitted. He was recommended by our kitchen fitter but we got several quotes, he was a good price and importantly said he didn’t need to tear up our ceiling to do the required work. He also actually listened to what we wanted and didn’t try and force a different socket layout on us. I was pleased with the work he carried out and would recommend him. Many thanks Scott!

Scott is super helpful and efficient, after having a few cow boys round who were just looking for some quick cash before Christmas scared the life out of us Scott really put our minds at ease fixed what needed fixing and even taught us along the way. Fantastic service 100% recommend!

After the power cut out at my rental property with no sign of it coming back I had a rather anxious tenant to sort the issue out for. I went on Google and found that DY Electrical was one of the top 3, so I called and straight away got through to Scott. He was so helpful and got to the property within 10 minutes. Because of the nature of the building there was a lot of waiting around to gain access to a communal electrical services room and to save my bill running too high he went home for a while until access was gained and then returned to get the power back on once access had been gained. I don't think I've ever met a tradesman who would do this and I work in the home improvement industry. Thank you Scott, safe to say your number is now saved in my phone!

Contacted Ashley at Gray Electrical Contractors to do a full health check & EIC on my apartment. Ashley visited quickly, quoted & completed the work to a high standard. Excellent communication, visited exactly when he said he would for the initial quote & work. Gray are now my go-to electrician. Thanks Ashley

We were looking for an electrician to replace our house fuse board. British Gas (Home Care) gave us a quote for installing a new one. I Googled the average cost of replacing a fuse board and British Gas were far over the cost that my Google search found. I used Checkertrade to contact local companies. I had four contact me, one was Ashley Gray. I checked out all 4 and invited them to quote. I noticed that Ashley had done a big refit for a friend of mine. But still was open to any of the 4. All came around and gave very similar estimates. Ashley was first to visit, really nice bloke who told me what I needed and what was entailed. I went for Ashley because I had seen his previous work although at the time I never knew Ashley. We agreed a date and cost. The work would be for a day, no cash upfront required. Martin from Ashley’s company did the work. Top class worker who did a great neat job. The certificate came through within 7 days. No pressure to pay quickly and plenty of reassurance from Ashley. A top company, Ashley great to work with and Martin a great electrician. Would recommend highly.

I contacted Troy to come and assess and replace a damaged socket that was potentially a danger. Troy was with us within a couple of hours and on a Saturday morning. Socket and plug all replaced, safety checked and we're back up and running. Great service, thanks Troy.

A brilliant service from Brett who fitted some lights for us. Very professional and friendly and the new lights look great plus he patched up the ceiling for us. We will be using him for further electrical projects.

Changed two light fixtures on time clean and professional

My shower pull cord stopped working. Phoned Castle Electrics and with the hour new unit fitted by a very pleasant, efficient young man and shower working. Can highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again.

Had a ceiling fan fitted by Jay. He was quick, professional and really great value for money. I've recommended him to family who have also had work done by him and are really impressed with the level of service. Highly recommended.
