We were looking for an electrician to replace our house fuse board. British Gas (Home Care) gave us a quote for installing a new one. I Googled the average cost of replacing a fuse board and British Gas were far over the cost that my Google search found. I used Checkertrade to contact local companies. I had four contact me, one was Ashley Gray. I checked out all 4 and invited them to quote. I noticed that Ashley had done a big refit for a friend of mine. But still was open to any of the 4. All came around and gave very similar estimates. Ashley was first to visit, really nice bloke who told me what I needed and what was entailed. I went for Ashley because I had seen his previous work although at the time I never knew Ashley. We agreed a date and cost. The work would be for a day, no cash upfront required. Martin from Ashley’s company did the work. Top class worker who did a great neat job. The certificate came through within 7 days. No pressure to pay quickly and plenty of reassurance from Ashley. A top company, Ashley great to work with and Martin a great electrician. Would recommend highly.

I called Prospark as they were recommended to us by friends who were impressed with their work and the professionalism alongside the quick response and timely work completed. I contacted prospark to change our existing fuseboards as we convert a garage. Prospark carried this out quickly and efficiently with communication being excellent through the process and to say we are pleased with the result is an understatement. Today we had Ian from Pro-Spark Electrical Contractors come to install extra plug sockets in our kitchen, and we couldn't be more pleased with his work. I had Westwood Electrical in to do several jobs in my house over the last 12months. It started with a full rewire of my house. Right from Mark coming to quote the job I was impressed with his knowledge of the latest regulations and especially appreciated his advice on smoke detectors. I later had a charger for my electric car fitted and some outside sockets for the garden. On all 3 separate jobs Mark has always provided competitive pricing and been a tidy worker. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for all electrical work.

Tanveer and his brother did a fabulous job installing an outdoor socket for me. The materials used were new and of high quality. They finished the job well and cleaned up after. Were also happy to answer any questions I had about the work. Would happily consider them for future work around the house.

I would give 6 stars here if I could. We had cool white spotlights supplied and fitted and a few light fixtures put up, very nice work, so happy with how everything looks, what we paid and also how quickly the work was completed. Absolutely will not hesitate to use Tan in the future. It is such a relief to have found him.

Needed an electrician at short notice to take down and replace some light fittings. Richard was helpful and responsive and provided a quote the same day. The workmen came out within 2 days and carried out the job very efficiently, whilst also taking great care with the chandeliers. They even made the effort to cover up an unsightly screw adjacent to the new ceiling rose. Professional service at a reasonable price (different to previous experiences!)- would highly recommend.

Rich and his team fitted 50 individual down lights throughout my home upgrading to new LED units which are fabulous. They also fixed a large chandelier and faulty dimmer switch and also fitted numerous LED under cupboard tubes. Rich even came up with a brilliant solution for our outdoor lighting needs and fitted a kinetic remote light that frames the rear garden perfectly. They even cleaned up after themselves. They completed our enti re house in half a day and truly transformed our living space. Couldn't be happier or recommend them enough. Thank you RJW Electrical!

They did some wirings, installed shower circuit, changed the fuse board to a modern one, removed the unsafe lightings and fitted new lights for us. the team inspected and tested the electricity before and after work is completed. They were very kind to do some extra works, like helping us to fit the bathroom fan. Great communication, gave us professional and honest opinions, explained clearly, listened to our requirements on where to put the sockets and how we prefer the light-switches to be. They carried out work with care, minimise drilling holes on the wall or lifting the floorboards. They also kept the place clean. We are really pleased and happy with the work. :)

They were friendly, respectful of my property and made sure I was completely happy with the work before they left. 5-star service with reasonable prices! Our home had been having electrical issues since we moved in. For some reason, the lights in our living room were never bright up to their potential regardless of the types of bulbs we replaced - if we tried a 13W led bulb and an 8W bulb, the 13W wouldn't light up, and both bulbs could only be turned on/off by the same switch. We had that insufficient brightness for nearly two years until they came and fixed it! By talking to them, I would say they were one of the most honest people you could find on the market nowadays. Besides the lighting issues, they also helped us fit the extractor fan and fill in the big hole surrounding the fan pipe. He said he wasn't a builder so that was the first time he did it (only because we asked him to help) and he was proud of how nicely that was done, and so were we! :)) The way they did the job was very thoughtful and thorough. Some wall and ceiling fixing stuff when pulling out the wires they handled for us. After the job was done, they also cleaned the house nicely. We were delighted with their service and would recommend them to our friends and keep in touch for future improvements in our home.
