The project involved planning and costing a total electrical fit-out, including a large 64-panel solar array. They are knowledgable, patient with new starters like us, full of advice at every step of the way, deliver clear and transparent quotes and were entirely reliable throughout the project. I’ve had a solar panel and battery installation for some years but I didn’t have a way of diverting excess power to the immersion heater in my hot water tank. I discussed options with Mark just over a year ago. He recommended an Eddi, which he fitted the following week. With 12 months experience, I can say that this was a very good call. I rarely use any gas at all during the summer now and the system has behaved perfectly. Mark can monitor it remotely, so any problem would show up straight away. I’m thus very confident about the system itself and Mark’s installation of it, which, by the way, took less than a morning and was achieved without any fuss at all.

Rung Ross at 2pm to get a quote to wire in an outside light, we arranged for 3pm the same day, he turned up on time, was very professional, very quick and we never doubted weather he knew what he was doing, would recommend him to anyone! An Awesome, very good value service!

I have hired Earthed Electricx for all of the electrical work on my house since purchased 2 years ago. The initial work was to simplify the phone line coming into the house. Shortly after that I hired Ross to do a complete re-wire which he completed to a very high standard and was professional throughout. Since then I have continued to hire Ross for all electrical work which has included installing power to an outbuilding and a loft. Stephen did an amazing job of wiring and fitting antique light fitting for me. He even went back out to get a part that was missing from my ceiling to make sure he could get the job done there and then for me. Super helpful and super efficient. A man of many trades. He is going to design and fit a new bathroom for me next. Highly recommend him.

I used Chapman Electrical to install solar panels. I found the team to be knowledgeable, professional, polite and conscientious. Andy provided great advice as to what system suited my needs and explained the whole process clearly. The installation took a few days and was completed by Jake. The whole team were efficient, tidy, friendly and competent. Once fitted Andy proved all the documentation needed to change energy supplier. Andy also checked in with a few days to make sure I was satisfied with the work, which I was. I would highly recommend this local firm for all aspects of electrical work.

I was exceptionally pleased with the work provided. After initial work I was pleased to employ Dave again and I will do so again when the need arises. What most impressed me was his attention to detail. My house was built with, what turned out to be, a bizarre wiring arrangement linking the downstairs and upstairs circuits. The system defied all logic but Dave would not be defeated. He spent several hours trying to identify the logic and consulted with other experts. Many would have given up but Dave persisted and eventually the problem was solved. At my request, he also came up with a number of creative solutions for lighting which is very sympathetic with the rest of my house design. I would strongly recommend Dave. Apart from his technical skills, he is very personable, trustworthy and reliable. He is also an excellent communicator.

I asked Dave to install spotlights and an extractor fan in my bathroom. Dave came round and provided a free quote for works and even advised me to install fewer spotlights that I thought I’d need and saved me money. Dave was knowledgeable in relation to the different types of extractor fans on the market. I’d definitely use his services and would recommend for sure.

Dave and his team worked like troopers from the minute they arrived to leaving, often only stopping to drink a brew thrust upon them.
