Vincent has been my Electrician of choice since I became a Landlord, helping get my properties up to NIRC. He is reliable, a local Electrician, charges competitive rates and offers a no fuss service seemingly making every job a breeze for his customer's giving him a well earned 5 stars in my book. Recent jobs 2 ceiling fan replacements including building the things, and getting the hot water to heat up again in another property very quickly to the delight of the tenants.

Craig completed several works at my Wedding Venue in March 2024. His service and project management was excellent, and we really appreciated his reliability as our work was done in various stages. He was also able to provide advice on what would look good in my spaces and I have to say it all looks excellent. His quotes were fairly priced and significantly cheaper than a second quote I received from a competitor. The highlight of the works was an LED strip fitted into a lighting trough to illuminate a grade II* listed ceiling (photographed), which has completely transformed the space. Craig came to do a few jobs, and ended up staying to do several more. Many thanks Craig, and look forward to having you back in the very near future.

I called out Craig in September 2024 to rewire a new heating element fitted to my hot water cylinder which supplies all the hot water to my flat, including the heating. Craig answered the phone first time (a surprise with many trades people) and told me he could come out later the same day. Another surprise! He was running a little late, but texted me to keep me updated, which was thoughtful. When he arrived he quickly assessed the wiring and worked out how to safely get the heating hooked back up the supply. After he left as I continued to test the heating system which had been off for 4-5 months, something tripped and the system shut down. I called Craig back and he agreed to come around after 6pm to continue to fault find. This was also impressive and fitted in with my plans. 15 mins later he was back and another 20 after that, he'd found the fault and fitted a new fuse to a control panel. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Craig. He was the knowledge and right attitude. Top man.

Contacted Craig via Horsell wire on a Sunday responded first thing Monday and attended Tuesday. Repaired and went out of his way to get me out of a situation without my EV charger which needed a fair bit of attention. Terry recently undertook the task of bringing power from our house to our external office/work space. He also wired it along with the installation of led ceiling lights and a number of sockets and switches. He also installed the associated earthing rods. In addition we asked for some help with regard to wiring our internet from the house to the new space. Terry was happy to carry out the additional work. At all times Terry was communicative, tidy and professional in the work he’s carried out for us. We were very happy with the service provided. Would use again and would happily recommend to others.

Terry did some work for us at our holiday cottage. We found him to be very accommodating and trustworthy, which was essential as he needed to be in the house alone. He also identified a fault on the electrical circuit he was originally working on and after being told that to find the fault could take anything from an hour to a day to find, we were worried about the bill we could potentially receive. The bill was very reasonable and this was another demonstration of how fair and trustworthy he is. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

Having never needed an electrician in Dorset before, Terry was the first and only contact I needed to make. He completed a thorough survey of the work required and subsequently provided a quote which I was more than happy with. I did not feel I had to look elsewhere. Great service, our electric went off and the trip switch would not come back on. Called 1st class electrical, he was very helpful and arrived within 10 minutes and he found the issue and it was sorted within 30 minutes. Will definitely use again if needed

We found Dan by pure chance and we are so glad we did. Apart from being a genuinely nice chap, Dan is clearly committed to doing the best job he can. He has carried out a number of different electrical projects for us including an external circuit and switch in our garden, the installing of a new consumer unit, and the discovery and resolution of an electrical fault. Five point electrical rewired my flat top to bottom.. The standard of workmanship and professionalism was excellent. They always turned up when they said they would, and left the place as they found it. Clear quotes were given in advance and adhered to, and the cost for the work completed was very reasonable. We needed to install smoke alarms in our daughter’s rental property-a relatively small job but important. We found Finn on Checkatrade and we’re very impressed with the reviews. Highly recommend F.B Electrical! Definitely be using them again. Thank you Finn. Update: We had our kitchen ripped out last Monday and I needed an electrian Tuesday before plastering on Wednesday. I phoned Finn as he has done previous work for us to see if he can come over, he was able to move his other jobs around to help and was here for half a day sorting the problems that needed doing, my kitchen has been fitted and he moved my one and only isolation switch I had for my oven and hob in one of my cupboards instead of it on show like it was. (See picture) He gave me an isolation switch for my oven, hob and fridge in one of my very small cupboards, and I now have two sockets where the old isolation switch was, We had an very old extension lead for the extractor fan lying on top of the kitchen wall cupboards which wasn't ideal, he put a nice socket in my extractor fan cupboard too. He also fitted a bathroom light, hall light and bedroom light aswell as updating my wall sockets in the kitchen, bedroom and lounge. I'm sure Finn did alot more that I haven't mentioned. Also instead of putting wires for my hob out side on show, he managed to feed them under the floorboards where there wasn't any tiles into the fuse box. Highly recommend, Great work and very tidy. Thanks again Finn, we really appreciate your hard work especially in 29° heat! ☀️

We hired ACJ to install some wall lights, switches, sockets and run cables for air conditioning and outdoor car charging station. Adam and Darren were really professional and did a great job—When one of the switches arrived late they bent over backwards to help us get it installed before the decorators arrived. We would definitely hire ACJ again and have already recommended them to our neighbours!

ACJ fitted an EV charger for me and were brilliant. Our new car ended up being ready a couple of weeks earlier than expected and Adam bent over backwards to get the charger in earlier than planned. I would highly recommend.
