It wasn’t my usual dentist, however, I was made to feel at ease and the problem was promptly resolved. My anxiety levels were elevated due to childhood memories at the dentist. Fantastic service and very patient with nervous patients. I was petrified going for the first consultation but after having the first lot of work done, I can say they are very good. I didn't feel a thing and the team reassured me and checked in regularly to make sure I was ok. I would give more than 5 stars if I could and would recommend to family and friends.

Corina is a really good dentist. She has always been careful to ensure my husband and I understand why some work needs doing. Her prices are low to medium 'private'. During a period of 3 years she has changed both our sets of gnashers from 'showing their age (a lot)' into very strong and stable. Her Dental nurse Aneta is very calm and capable. Thoroughly recommended..

I am a terrible patient,absolutely terrified and have many crowns and fillings. I have been a patient here for about thirty years! But Corina and Aneta have been so kind to me. In January during a check up Corina found nodules in my neck.Corina referred me to Dorchester hospital and it was found that I had Thyroid cancer, I think Corina may have saved my life and I am eternally thankful. Prior to being a patient at the Gardens Dental Practice I used to be very anxious about going to the dentist, I can honestly say all members of the team are warm and professional and put you at ease from the minute you walk through the door. Izzie deserves a particular mention for her excellence, but she is also caring and gentle. My teeth are so dramatically improved, her work is exceptional and I am so grateful. My son was nervous having his first ever filling, as a mum you feel awful putting your child through this but the wonderful Jenny made us both feel relaxed and fully communicated with my son what was going to happen. I came here sent by an NHS emergency with an infection in one of my back teeth I was in agony and very swollen. I saw Ella and Tia, They first sent me away with antibiotics and to come back to have the tooth removed. When I came back Ella said the tooth could be saved and asked if I would prefer to have a root canal. After the first procedure I was so shocked how much better my face felt and realised I’d been in pain for a long time. I went back for the second procedure today and again very happy with the result. I thought Ella and Tia went above and beyond considering it’s not even my official dentist. They could have easily removed the teeth for a fraction of the time but instead fixed my tooth and I am so happy they did. I’ve been looking for a dentist for a while and will definitely be joining! Thank you both

Highly rate this practice! I had a one off appointment to fix a broken tooth. I was fitted in the next day! I saw Dr Edwardo whom was very friendly and informative. I hate dentists generally but was made to feel at ease. My front tooth was repaired by hand with composite filling. The result was astonishing! Can't even tell it was broken. Amazing skills! For anyone considering dental Implants I cannot recommend highly enough. Henne and Vicky are so relaxed and competent and explain procedures the whole way along . Pricing is transparent too . The after care and hygiene practices are also outstanding . To have this procedure done locally cannot be under rated . I had far higher quotes abroad and add to that the cost of travel and the time needed there before you could fly . This was my best choice ever !

Upton Dental are an excellent practice, I had an emergency appointment today (as I had to cancel last weeks) nothing was too much trouble from the staff on reception to the nurses & dental surgeons they are all so professional from start to finish. I broke a molar and was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t find a dentist anywhere so I tried these guys… I left a message and they got back to me within an hour. The lovely receptionist booked an appointment for me later that afternoon. The dentist then phoned me too to get more detail about my tooth problem which was a nice touch.I saw Shannon and her nurse who were incredible. All three ladies were very professional and extremely caring. I live over an hour away from Dorset dental clinic however would have no hesitation in going back there and am seriously considering using them all the time… They really were excellent. Thank you DDC… I have also just received an e mail from them with all the detail of my treatment including the picture of the x-ray they took so I can pass it on to my dentist to help him know all the information. Had my first consultation and was made to feel very much at ease. Lovely friendly staff and the information given was in depth and very clear. Absolutely no pressure at all to sign up for treatments and no upselling which was refreshing. I have already decided based on my consultation and all of the information given to me, to go ahead with treatment. So I'll review again after my next appointment. I am a very nervous patient following treatment received as a child in the 1960s. However, the treatment I received from Fernando for my dental implants was second to none. He is an excellent practitioner and has the ability to create an air of calm which would put any nervous patient at ease. My implants fit perfectly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and the staff at South Coast Dental. How I wish it had been the same for me as a child. Thank you to everyone at the practice.

A good experience at South Coast Dental with Josh. Had a tooth implant here and was extremely nervous, from start to finish everything was explained fully, and support was given at every step by Josh, Tawny and team. Josh kindly fitted an implant nearly two years ago which I am very pleased with, I recently had an issue with the gum surrounding the implant. Josh and Tawf were able to quickly address the issue for which I am very grateful, the review was very thorough and I learned some useful tips on how to use interdental brushes.

I had 3 implants successfully inserted by Fernando a couple of years ago, without any pain. Recently I needed a deep cleansing treatment for gum disease over one tooth and again, I did not experience pain. Although I have private general dentistry, this is the only dental surgeon who has given injections without pain due to the use of a superior numbing agent beforehand. All the staff are very pleasant also. I can highly recommend this Centre.

I had a very bad experience with my last dental practice, so I registered my family with Aspen House and our Dentist Alex is fantastic, she rectified the damage or issues the other dental practice had caused. We have a large family and live a fair distance away but she always accommodates us to fit in with our family so that we can all be seen together. The staff are friendly and polite and our dentist is amazing with my children and settles them from any nerves. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I can’t recommend Cheryl more highly. I suffered for many years with facial pain. That is now a thing of the past as Cheryl has built up my bite. It really makes a difference to the quality of my life. After a lifetime of hating my teeth I now love them and am happy to smile. Resulting from orthodontic treatment years ago, I was left with ‘black triangles’ between my top and bottom front teeth. Cheryl has now filled in these in and my smile is transformed. I have waited until I was 59 to have this work done. I wish I had met Cheryl years ago.

I cannot recommend MouthPeace highly enough, especially Dr. Sherryl Colaco! They are amazing! I'm a US Citizen who was traveling across the UK for 2 weeks, and ran into a dental emergency halfway through our trip. Each day we were traveling 100+ miles, and staying in different towns. The pain I was having with a tooth was excruciating. We showed up at MouthPeace at 8:30am opening on a Thursday, without an appointment, and asked if they could help me. They made room for me in the schedule within an hour, and performed work that stopped ALL the pain, and prepared me for having a root canal when I get home. Rather than fly home early, I was able to enjoy the last 6 days of my vacation completely pain free. Dr. Colaco was wonderful, explaining the entire process, telling me what to tell my dentist back home, and even giving me copies of the X-rays to help with the work needed upon my return. She worked swiftly, smoothly, and did fantastic work of a seasoned pro. Within a short time, all my pain ceased! The entire staff was fantastic. They were empathetic to my plight, friendly, and I cannot thank them enough for helping someone in need, regardless of where they were from. You have my eternal gratitude for your compassion, and professional work. You all truly changed the course of our trip, and I directly owe my ability to enjoy it on your kindness. I had a tooth extraction performed by Dr. Varun Barath last week and I must say, he is truly an outstanding dentist. From the moment I walked into his practice, I was impressed by his professionalism and friendly demeanor. Dr. Barath took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure to me, outlining both the negatives and positives so that I could make an informed decision about my aching tooth. He never rushed me or pressured me in any way, which I greatly appreciated. The extraction itself was done with precision and care, and I felt at ease throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Dr. Varun Barath to anyone in need of dental care. He is truly a top-notch professional.

Dr Varun, Holly, this practise, is just astounding! I had a dental emergency, I had lost a rather large filling which was incredibly close to my nerve, which was causing me a LOT of pain. After ringing my dentist and them telling me I could only be seen in 5 weeks, I quickly (whilst slightly panicking) googled emergency dentists in my area. National Dental, in Dorchester, popped up with some great reviews, so I decided to ring them. After explaining my situation, Holly made me an appointment for 2 hours time (relief)! I was ever so slightly nervous due to the sheer pain of my tooth, and having some bad experiences in the past with it. Dr Varun, and Holly, were both incredibly reassuring, and Dr Varun explained in detail every step of the procedure, showed me what was going to happen on a model of some teeth, he couldn't have been any clearer, even explaining every detail of what was happening during the procedure. Now, when I tell you that they operate on a pain free basis, I mean it! I didn't feel a single thing, despite the sensitivity and close proximity to the nerve of my tooth. The procedure was done quickly, but not rushed! Which is something a lot of dentist do, RUSH! I left completely pain free, with my dental problem treated, all within the space of 4 hours! I can not thank, or recommend, this team and practise enough!

I had a consultation with Dr Barath today, the session started with a professional greeting from the staff and Dr Barath himself, he then provided a comprehensive examination and X-rays, followed by a full report on what he had found. The level of expertise from Dr Barath was fantastic and I had total confidence in his advice, I really appreciated that he took the time to explain to me how to take better care of my teeth and why it’s so important to have a care routine at home in place as well as clinical intervention. Many thanks for your help today, will look forward to returning in the new year!
