During a recent visit to the area, I received urgent dental advice from Dr. Amit, whose kindness and professionalism were exceptional. The Alaska House Dental Team provided such outstanding service that I would join this practice without hesitation if I lived in Blandford Forum.

On my first visit to Alaska house I was seen by Llewellyn Camilla. She made me feel very welcomed and put me at ease straight away. Nicole the Hygienist was really lovely and spoke through every process she was going to be doing. I'm quite a nervous patient so this was nice to have. She also offered me lots of advice on how to keep my gums healthy. She was very lovely and welcoming! My overall experience so far at Alaska house has been very good, everyone at the practice is so welcoming.

As a very anxious patient, I usually dread visits to the dentist, but no longer. We recently had new patient check ups with Luke at Rock House dental practice and Luke is amazing. He was so caring and gentle that the whole experience was calm and pleasant. I highly recommend this practice and wish I had found it years ago.

Bilal and Sarah were absolutely superb. I've never EVER had work done on my teeth before so having my wisdom tooth out felt like a big deal but I can honestly say, the needles and the extraction were NOT painful or scary at all. It was such a smooth experience and I would go back there to have more out if I could. Very talented dentists who made the whole process a positive one.

This was my first time going to a dentist to extract a tooth. I am someone who have pride in my teeth and at the age of 68 had a full set of teeth. Unfortunately one of them broke while I am on holiday in the UK. Smile Kind was very professional, patient and made me comfortable. I’m currently just over 2 weeks post op on getting both my lower wisdom teeth out. The whole process from beginning to end was seamless. I was really nervous getting my teeth out but Sami and Sarah were absolutely amazing. They were both so reassuring and empathetic. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable which i really appreciated. When i got them out, Sami was very quick & both of them were out in like 5 minutes. I luckily had little to no swelling and the pain wasn’t horrible. There was a point where it was very painful and i contacted smilekind and they were so wonderful at getting me an appointment quickly so the dentist could take a look. The holes seem to be healing nice as well. I’ve see to many horror stories of wisdom teeth extractions, im very grateful for Samis expertise in getting them out without any problems. He’s very confident in the work he does and i found that really comforting. Again, a massive thank you to the whole team. A lot of places don’t seem to care about their patients anymore so it’s refreshing to see a business remain genuine in wanting to help.

I admit I did have some nerves about having my 2 impacted wisdom teeth extracted. However, shortly after walking into the surgery, I met Bilal who told me the procedure would be relatively straight forward. Bilal has a very good manner, and the extractions were straight forward as he said. Highly recommended.

I broke a molar and was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t find a dentist anywhere so I tried these guys… I left a message and they got back to me within an hour. The lovely receptionist booked an appointment for me later that afternoon. The dentist then phoned me too to get more detail about my tooth problem which was a nice touch.I saw Shannon and her nurse who were incredible. All three ladies were very professional and extremely caring. I live over an hour away from Dorset dental clinic however would have no hesitation in going back there and am seriously considering using them all the time… They really were excellent. Thank you DDC… I have also just received an e mail from them with all the detail of my treatment including the picture of the x-ray they took so I can pass it on to my dentist to help him know all the information. Dr Varun, Holly, this practise, is just astounding! I had a dental emergency, I had lost a rather large filling which was incredibly close to my nerve, which was causing me a LOT of pain. After ringing my dentist and them telling me I could only be seen in 5 weeks, I quickly (whilst slightly panicking) googled emergency dentists in my area. National Dental, in Dorchester, popped up with some great reviews, so I decided to ring them. After explaining my situation, Holly made me an appointment for 2 hours time (relief)! I was ever so slightly nervous due to the sheer pain of my tooth, and having some bad experiences in the past with it. Dr Varun, and Holly, were both incredibly reassuring, and Dr Varun explained in detail every step of the procedure, showed me what was going to happen on a model of some teeth, he couldn't have been any clearer, even explaining every detail of what was happening during the procedure. Now, when I tell you that they operate on a pain free basis, I mean it! I didn't feel a single thing, despite the sensitivity and close proximity to the nerve of my tooth. The procedure was done quickly, but not rushed! Which is something a lot of dentist do, RUSH! I left completely pain free, with my dental problem treated, all within the space of 4 hours! I can not thank, or recommend, this team and practise enough!

I had a consultation with Dr Barath today, the session started with a professional greeting from the staff and Dr Barath himself, he then provided a comprehensive examination and X-rays, followed by a full report on what he had found. The level of expertise from Dr Barath was fantastic and I had total confidence in his advice, I really appreciated that he took the time to explain to me how to take better care of my teeth and why it’s so important to have a care routine at home in place as well as clinical intervention. Many thanks for your help today, will look forward to returning in the new year!

I had a tooth extraction performed by Dr. Varun Barath last week and I must say, he is truly an outstanding dentist. From the moment I walked into his practice, I was impressed by his professionalism and friendly demeanor. Dr. Barath took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure to me, outlining both the negatives and positives so that I could make an informed decision about my aching tooth. He never rushed me or pressured me in any way, which I greatly appreciated. The extraction itself was done with precision and care, and I felt at ease throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Dr. Varun Barath to anyone in need of dental care. He is truly a top-notch professional.

Yesterday I needed emergency treatment for a tooth infection. Gentle Dentistry gave me an immediate appointment I was treated by Ed who was absolutely amazing professional and made me feel at ease. I have had amazing treatment from Saffina and her assistant. They were both the best. Mu gums were in a terrible state, with “advanced gum disease”, but today, they told me my gums were great! They certainly feel hugely better. saffina doesn’t need to see me for a year. Massive THANK YOU to you both.

I was referred to Charminster House by my dentist. I cannot recommend Saffina and her team highly enough. There has been a complete improvement with my gums since I have been under their care. I had a deep clean treatment carried out by Saffina and have had regular 3 monthly check ups with hygienist, Josie. Everyone I have seen at CH has been extremely caring, friendly and professional. Was very apprehensive about root canal but Samir talk me through the process making me aware of risk and possible outcomes. Standard of work and care very professional as i had 2 procedures carried out over 3 hrs feeling safe and confident during all stages. Highly recommend this practice

A great experience had! I have been under care here since early 2021 having been referred by my Dentist for an issue with my gums. She also identified an issue I had been having with a tooth that she recommended and required extraction and her explanation settled me. My treatment also required me to see Felicity the Hygienist who also took particular care explaining and showing the correct way to clean my teeth. This is an exceptional practice that has the greatest of care for their patients.
