On my first visit to Alaska house I was seen by Llewellyn Camilla. She made me feel very welcomed and put me at ease straight away. Nicole the Hygienist was really lovely and spoke through every process she was going to be doing. I'm quite a nervous patient so this was nice to have. She also offered me lots of advice on how to keep my gums healthy. She was very lovely and welcoming! My overall experience so far at Alaska house has been very good, everyone at the practice is so welcoming.

During a recent visit to the area, I received urgent dental advice from Dr. Amit, whose kindness and professionalism were exceptional. The Alaska House Dental Team provided such outstanding service that I would join this practice without hesitation if I lived in Blandford Forum.

I visited several dentists to explore options for replacing a lost tooth, and Gentle Dentistry stood out from the rest. I cannot recommend The Gentle Dentistry highly enough—they are, without question, the best dentists I've ever visited (and I've been to quite a few). As a very anxious patient with previous bad experiences, I thoroughly researched to find a trustworthy dentist for complex work. My search led me to The Gentle Dentistry. After reviewing their website, I decided to book a consultation. From the moment I walked through the door, the experience was seamless. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I received a detailed treatment plan, with every aspect clearly explained. I required multiple appointments due to the complexity of the work, and each visit was reassuring, with the entire process clearly outlined. Meeting Dan and Ed for different treatments was a pleasure—they provided exceptional care. The assistants were fantastic, offering support throughout the entire process. When I first came to The Gentle Dentistry, I hated my smile and had severe trauma from past dental issues and bad experiences. Now, I have a smile I'm proud of and much less fear of dental work. I highly recommend Dan, Ed, and The Gentle Dentistry for their meticulous attention to detail and outstanding work. I experienced no pain during any treatment, and even the injections, which I usually dread, were barely noticeable. I was a nervous patient and have had years of poor experiences and anxiety when needing to see a dentist. I have now been with Dan and the team for two years and they are all amazing. I have had a number of treatments they have all been pain free, well explained and left me with a smile I am proud of again. Yesterday I needed emergency treatment for a tooth infection. Gentle Dentistry gave me an immediate appointment I was treated by Ed who was absolutely amazing professional and made me feel at ease. I have been coming to Gentle Dentistry for a few years now and I’m always impressed by their professionalism, warmth and friendliness every time. Thankyou so much Ed for yesterday’s treatment and for the follow up phone call today from Izzy to make sure I’m feeling fine. This clinic is worth every visit.

The most wonderful dental practise, worth every penny. Very approachable staff and a lovely environment. Nick is a truly incredible dentist. I had to have a very unpleasant extraction and because he is so gentle, compassionate and kind I felt completely at ease. I would recommend him to anyone feeling anxious or frightened. What a guy!

Theo is the most amazing dentist I have visited, he is calm and cool and continually talking to you throughout the procedure. I had 2 teeth extracted and both time was painless, his way of giving injection also painless, I haven’t felt a thing. All you have to do is “relax and breath, I’ll do the rest “ that’s his advice and worked both time. Worth every penny and I wouldn’t go anywhere else and that’s matter of fact. Thanks Doc, see you next month to do the rest.

Prior to being a patient at the Gardens Dental Practice I used to be very anxious about going to the dentist, I can honestly say all members of the team are warm and professional and put you at ease from the minute you walk through the door. Izzie deserves a particular mention for her excellence, but she is also caring and gentle. My teeth are so dramatically improved, her work is exceptional and I am so grateful. My son was nervous having his first ever filling, as a mum you feel awful putting your child through this but the wonderful Jenny made us both feel relaxed and fully communicated with my son what was going to happen. I never thought I would write a review praising a dentist. I was a grown up baby absolutely terrified of dentists. I would literally shake and make myself ill just sitting in the waiting room. However, I found Dorset Dental Clinic who actually listened to my fears and have now totally transformed my look. My teeth were so bad that it took a 5 hour operation under anesthetic to remove the lot and completely replace with new. The work is now complete and it has added a level of confidence and wellbeing to my life. Absolutely no pressure at all to sign up for treatments and no upselling which was refreshing. I broke a molar and was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t find a dentist anywhere so I tried these guys… I left a message and they got back to me within an hour. The lovely receptionist booked an appointment for me later that afternoon. The dentist then phoned me too to get more detail about my tooth problem which was a nice touch.I saw Shannon and her nurse who were incredible. All three ladies were very professional and extremely caring. I live over an hour away from Dorset dental clinic however would have no hesitation in going back there and am seriously considering using them all the time… They really were excellent. Thank you DDC… I have also just received an e mail from them with all the detail of my treatment including the picture of the x-ray they took so I can pass it on to my dentist to help him know all the information. Incredible service… Thank you again Shannon and the team.

I admit I did have some nerves about having my 2 impacted wisdom teeth extracted. However, shortly after walking into the surgery, I met Bilal who told me the procedure would be relatively straight forward. Bilal has a very good manner, and the extractions were straight forward as he said. Highly recommended.

I’m currently just over 2 weeks post op on getting both my lower wisdom teeth out. The whole process from beginning to end was seamless. I was really nervous getting my teeth out but Sami and Sarah were absolutely amazing. They were both so reassuring and empathetic. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable which i really appreciated. When i got them out, Sami was very quick & both of them were out in like 5 minutes. I luckily had little to no swelling and the pain wasn’t horrible. There was a point where it was very painful and i contacted smilekind and they were so wonderful at getting me an appointment quickly so the dentist could take a look. The holes seem to be healing nice as well. I’ve see to many horror stories of wisdom teeth extractions, im very grateful for Samis expertise in getting them out without any problems. He’s very confident in the work he does and i found that really comforting. Again, a massive thank you to the whole team. A lot of places don’t seem to care about their patients anymore so it’s refreshing to see a business remain genuine in wanting to help.

Having a dental phobia it took a lot to seek out treatment for a molar that needed extracting. SmileKind was definitely the right choice. During the initial consultation I was so anxious I could barely get the words out but they were very patient and explained the treatment process which was reassuring. Bilal and Sarah were absolutely superb. I've never EVER had work done on my teeth before so having my wisdom tooth out felt like a big deal but I can honestly say, the needles and the extraction were NOT painful or scary at all. It was such a smooth experience and I would go back there to have more out if I could. Very talented dentists who made the whole process a positive one.

Dr Varun, Holly, this practise, is just astounding! I had a dental emergency, I had lost a rather large filling which was incredibly close to my nerve, which was causing me a LOT of pain. After ringing my dentist and them telling me I could only be seen in 5 weeks, I quickly (whilst slightly panicking) googled emergency dentists in my area. National Dental, in Dorchester, popped up with some great reviews, so I decided to ring them. After explaining my situation, Holly made me an appointment for 2 hours time (relief)! I was ever so slightly nervous due to the sheer pain of my tooth, and having some bad experiences in the past with it. Dr Varun, and Holly, were both incredibly reassuring, and Dr Varun explained in detail every step of the procedure, showed me what was going to happen on a model of some teeth, he couldn't have been any clearer, even explaining every detail of what was happening during the procedure. Now, when I tell you that they operate on a pain free basis, I mean it! I didn't feel a single thing, despite the sensitivity and close proximity to the nerve of my tooth. The procedure was done quickly, but not rushed! Which is something a lot of dentist do, RUSH! I left completely pain free, with my dental problem treated, all within the space of 4 hours! I can not thank, or recommend, this team and practise enough!

All dental work to be undertaken was carefully explained verbally and with use of x-rays and dental modelling. The importance of dental hygiene daily to help to keep teeth and gums healthy was explained fully. The treatment carried out over a few appointments was painless and I am very pleased with the outcomes. All staff are friendly and take their time to ensure that patients questions are answered and understood. I would fully recommend this Dental and Implant Centre.

I had a consultation with Dr Barath today, the session started with a professional greeting from the staff and Dr Barath himself, he then provided a comprehensive examination and X-rays, followed by a full report on what he had found. The level of expertise from Dr Barath was fantastic and I had total confidence in his advice, I really appreciated that he took the time to explain to me how to take better care of my teeth and why it’s so important to have a care routine at home in place as well as clinical intervention. Many thanks for your help today, will look forward to returning in the new year!

Having been petrified of the dentist for many years, I can not fault the care and attention that I have received from everyone at dentistry@68. The whole process of sedation was very relaxing, and every step was explained fully. There was no rushing. After having 2 extractions, I had no pain at all, which shows the care and attention provided during treatment.
